Dada once said he was never worried about india's batting.. Coz viru scores runs at the top. If not viru, then rahul does. If not rahul, then sachin will. It not them, I will. If all of us fail, laxman will definitely score ❤️❤️

Being South African and a huge cricket fan,I can safely say these 4 gentlemen made watching INDIAN CRICKET such a spectacle, man we would bunk school with my friends just to watch INDIA play... outside of these great 4, I remember vividly watching MONGIA on the stumps, AZZA,SRINATH,LAXMAN,ANIL “APPLE CRUMBLE” KUMBLE(my favorite Indian cricketer),AJAY JADEJA...as well as HARBAJAN SINGH(though he joined a lil later)...You guys were just out of this world, you were like GODS to us growing up in Soweto and playing cricket in the dusty streets.
RAHUL was indeed THE GREAT WALL and Mr Cool of INDIA...SAURAV was Mr No Nonsense and seemed strict and very focused, commanded his mates on the field with great aplomb...VVS LAX was just this gentle giant that went about his business quietly but would amass tons of runs in a quiet manner...and then there was that Lil maestro, THE GOD of himself THE GREAT SACHIN TENDULKAR🙌🏿🙌🏿 I would happily genuflect and kiss his bat, there’s not enough adjectives to describe how the Master went about his business.
THANK YOU gentlemen for the good memories whenever you toured South Africa, you lit up our cricket grounds and we loved every minute of it all.✌🏿🇿🇦

Actually, after 2008 everything was changed...
After the retirement of *DADA* , some regular face of the Indian team was dropped down (example *MD KAIF*)
*KUMBLE* took his retirement, *DRAVID* *LAXMAN* was irregular in one day team.. ACTUALLY, LOTS OF YOUNG players CAME in Indian team with *'MAHI VAI'*.
But for me, 2000 to 2005 INDIAN TEST & ONE DAY TEAM WAS GREAT because individual LEGENDS Came from each and every subcontinent of our country at that time LIKE *'SAVIOUR OF FALLEN INDIAN CRICKET'* 🙏🙏
