In my 20s I wasn’t aware that you have so much down time during your flights… otherwise I would for sure have applied for a flight attendant job! In NYC there is an area called “Little Poland” in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Lots of Polish immigrants settle there and they have Polish stores and restaurants.

The airline provides an apartment fully furnished without cost and with a roommate. About 15-20% of the cabin crew is male.
