The best place to buy MR33 tools is through Tonisport in Germany (or from one of their dealers):

I went with the buy once cry once philosopy when I started picking RC tools and very glad I went with MIP. I own alot of expensive tools Milwaukee, Whia, Wera, Woodpeckers, BridgeCity and to be honest MIP makes one of the best hex drives out there! Perfect fit and driver bit holds up to the abuse.

MIP are amazing! Built 5 kits with them and they are going strong!

While MIP is expensive it surpasses it price by being HIGH quality in build and longitivtiy, not to mention its GANGSTER in its looks:) Hudy and the others are nice also if in the USA you can even find them.

I bought some MIP drivers 25 years ago, and they still work great

Nice video, but I wish you had also used the cheap China 2mm for fitment and also measured the tips on all of them.

You ever try hex bits from tool manufacturers like Wera, Wiha or PB Swiss?

I have quite a few tools designed for mtn bikes by wera. Thing about rc specific tools are they’re better suited to get into tight spaces whereas non rc stuff is sometimes too thick and overbuilt.
I tried to make it work bc I like wera tools so much

    A $50 wrench vs. a $5 wrench doesn’t lower lap times…

It does increase the enjoyment and lowers the frustrations during building and maintenance which is at least 50% of the hobby ;)

More expensive tools tend to have better durability. If you're using the tool everyday, it's best to buy high quality (within your budget).

Hudy hand tools might be reasonably worth it but their setup tools have to be crazy overpriced
