Ohh, thank you for checking her out. (Btw, Park is her last name. It's the other way around in korean) She's basically a chameleon, not only in this song. She can sing any genre. From rock (she's originally a rock singer), to Jazz, to Opera (which she does great although she never trained!). Her breath control is insane, she can hold a notes for ages like in "A song for You". Please check out her iconic "Yeonan Pier" which is smooth jazz with an amazing final, it's really the opposite of this here. Or "Swallowtail Butterfly" which is one of her underrated performances on Immortal Songs where she nails the high notes while dancing around. Her mix is insane there, she goes up to F6. That's why I needed to laugh when you mentioned "There we see her upper belt"..well, just wait. ^^ Since the link is hard to find:

Love Park, she is so versatile and underrated. Btw she is best friends with sohyang.
She has successively added genres - originally rock singer > musical theater > classical and others - which she now combines to produce whatever effect she desires. A good friend of Sohyang they are voice faculty at the same arts college - they shared the role of Maria in a 2014 Korean stage production of the "Song of Music". After that she self-taught classical style in order to sing "Nella Fantasia" also excellent. I second “Yeonan Pier”.

First of all, this program is a broadcast where popular singers hold a contest with songs by legendary musicians.
The old grandfather who appears in the middle and at the end of the song is a famous Korean rock singer who is the original author of this song.
Second, Park Ki-young is not a rock singer, but a singer-songwriter who sings ballads.
However, she once won a program called Opera Star, which was broadcast in Korea, in which popular singers competed with opera songs.
Having won her opera star Rane program, Park Ki-young went beyond singing between popular songs and classical music, and expanded that domain to rock.

If you can believe it, as great as this performance is, to me her performance of Yeonan Pier if even better.
This song, 봄비 -Bombi(Spring Rain), was song by a Korean singer named Lee-Jungh wa , composed by Shin - jung hyeon Since in 1969. As you might think, it has nothing to do with the theme song of movie 007.

Literally,"Spring Rain" 봄비 it is. Personally, when I listened to the song, lyric and vibe makes me thought of struggling to get out of an epic ever ending misfortune.

Park Kiyoung is insane! She's originally a rock singer but can sing literally everything. She did opera as well for example and nailed it. She's a cameleon and her mix is insane! Look up her iconic "Yeonan Pier" which is more smooth jazz with an iconic final ,to get full on surprised with "Spring Rain" which shows her rocky side. :)

Hello!! I would really appreciate it if you could check out *FROM HOME (REARRANGED VERSION) by NCT U* . Even though you may have never hear of them before, they are pretty popular, their vocals are unbelievable, and there are a ton of fans actively looking for reactions to this song!! NCT is a South Korean boy group consisting of members from all around the world including Korea, China, Japan, America, Canada, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Thailand. They go through intense vocal and dance training before they debut and you can tell how hard they work just from the quality of their performances. Their song "From Home" is a 90's R&B ballad sung in 4 languages! There are 2 versions of the song- the original and the rearranged version. Both versions have a MV and a live stage. The MVs are less likely to be copyrighted compared to the live performance however, I have seen some reactors react to the live performance without getting blocked. Also, fyi, for the rearranged version MV, the audio is actually taken from their live performance so in the MV, they are still singing live. The original version is outstanding, but the rearranged version is where they really showcase their vocal abilities! This song is very meaningful to the members as they left their homes and families to become singers but found a new home and family called their members and fans. I would really appreciate if you could react to both the original and rearranged version. If not, at least the rearranged version. Please watch KZ singing “drivers license”. I know everyone has been requesting Morissette, but I feel that KZ does a better job and has so much depth and emotion that comes naturally in her voice, the little nuances she puts on each phrase are a joy to listen to.
