I love, love, love that Heartthrob Caitlyn skin. Before it, Caitlyn was really missing a girly skin and the skin looking so pretty really shows how much effort was put into designing the fashion to be trendy and feminine and just very well put together 💓
I'm so excited to see you cover some League fashion, since I'm kind of obsessed with the lore of that universe lol. It's interesting to hear an analysis more from a fashion perspective, less from a character design perspective.
Watched a bunch of your arcane/league of legends videos and I’ve learned so much about fashion and expression thanks to you. I never realized just how representative clothes are in expressing the values of these characters.
Excited for this League series! You have so much sense of detail analising all their skins across gamea. I dont know who I like more, but my faves are Sherrif Caitlyn and the Prestige skin for Jayce, I swear that F boy face does something to me every time I see him in game xD
This is my first video ive watched of yours but im so happy i found you. Im a fashion, and VG lover and im so obsessed with video game skins. Will be binge watching ur videos ❤
Love the video, and your analysis! A bit of context on League skins is that they are more of a reimagining of the character in another role/aesthetic/story than just "character in other clothes". Skin lines in League are (minus the lore skins) kinda like alternate universes to the main lore universe, so while many skin lores mirror the canon, some reimagine them to fill a different role in a story. Forsaken Jayce, for example is completely opposed to balance and is on a path of vengeance, which i think is well communicated by the skin. I get that maybe that's not your focus and that's fine, i just think this approach to skins is neat and like to talk about it!
weapons as accesory is one of the main desing philosophy in league of legends. you need to recognize the characters easily in the middle of the actions and the exagerated silhouette the weapons provide help a lot with that
I love watching your videos because some of the insights you have are things i wouldnt have thought of and i think that helps with the outfits i make for my own characters
definitely subbed after this one and i’ll be binging these while i get ready for work! would love to see you do a video about the 2 most recent mortal kombat games (MK11 and MK1) since they took such a different approach with their character fashion/design compared to their previous games. i feel like they definitely stepped it up and would love to see someone else’s take on it.
I think if more League of Legends characters would reviewed, the individual lore of the skin and it's skin line plus the reference they pull from could be mentioned. Like for example Forsaken Jayce is based on Star Wars Sith Lords/Dark side of the force. Or that Headhunter Caitlyn is really based on the Predator franchise. Most skins have a short description that gives more background on what their character/persona is supposed to be in that world. But most of the times it's still reminiscent of their base character lore. Last point, the e-sports skins are just mostly fluff to commemorate the champion team of that year. The champion players pick what character they want to get the skin. The skin team does make the looks cohesive or have 1 overall theme and sometimes there are interesting artistic choices in the skins.
Observation: A decent amount of skins are good, but it's ultimately flipped when the main gimmick is the fashion angle. Speaking of gimmicks, a good amount of skins suffer from two factors (off the top of my head): 1. Too gimmicky. Some of these have a specific niche (not that I mind, because variety), but are fighting an uphill battle when compared to others that form a grand collection. A good example is Nidalee, who has glow-up potential, but also given the character's schtick, makes sense not much is touched up. 2. What devs forgot. Several skins simply suffer from outdated splash art/sprites, and aren't quite updated until a full-on character rework, right Fiddlesticks and Jax? When it comes to Crystal Rose, I can't blame you. This is honestly, one of the better collections. I swear, out of context it looks like something I'd expect in a wedding magazine (love it to bits!). With the lore they throw in for each collection, and other tidbits, it's just a collection that did great overall... even did great with Swain, but I've rambled enough as is. There are a few ways to tackle this one (regions, champs, skin collections, personal style overviews...). Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to the next vid. Thanks for covering a vid on some of Piltover's finest!
@@talhagun8093 Its a new skin for Jayce that wasn't revealed yet. It shows what happens to him after the end of episode 3 which right now hadn't released yet
LOOOOOOVE the league content!!! HAAAAAAATE that they keep firing the artists that make them so much money. The 500 dollar Ahri skin's artist was fired a few months after it's release.
Academia , Base/Prestige T1 and Crystal Rose may be my favourite Jayce skins but let's hear it for the true icon of this video XDF's tie
This made my day - thanks for a second ST dude! Truly appreciate it 🙏🏽
There so much lore and content in league, hope you get the support you deserve. Fun content. Keep it up!

Caitlyn, my love. I have a soft spot for Heartthrob Caitlyn because that's her matching skin with Vi.

FINALLY YOU DID A LEAGUE VIDEO

You really need to do a video over the league bands I'd love to see your thoughts on the KDA outfits

I love watching your videos because some of the insights you have are things i wouldnt have thought of and i think that helps with the outfits i make for my own characters

Is it just me, or 11:37 Arcane Survivor Jayce gives PS3 protag vibes?

I'll include captions, like I did for a couple of caitlyn's skins, at most.
Love this actually. :D
Love your videos specialy about Pokémon. 🥰
Can you make Winx Club Fashion Please? 😍🧚♀️💚
I really would like to challenge you. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the more none human characters.
Only if they wear actual clothes. Otherwise, not interested 👍🏽

You should COSPLAY as JACE !

Smart choice of changing the thumbnail to Caitlyn from Jayce
Omg I'd love to see more league of legends 🥹
