Throughout the episode there are also numerous references to the afterlife within songs, dialogue & images in the background. This episode is regarded as one of the best among fans, even though you basically know the entire plot now & if you haven’t already watched it I’d still recommend watching the full episode it’s one of the best IMO.

But compared to today, the 80's weren't that great for the LGBT community. There were a lot of murders around then. Horrible time and I'm so glad that it doesn't happen to the community anymore here and in most western countries. people have become a lot more aware and accepting.
