I really appreciate that you don't talk film, lenses, gear. It was a note to self that it's the photographer that makes the image, and sometimes being more aware of the fundamentals like LIGHT, is much of what you need to craft an amazing image.
had a shoot two weeks ago where I accidentally came to the realization that I don't really enjoy artificial lighting like I thought I did and now you put this out! seriously couldn't be better timing, appreciate this sort of thing so much and would love a part 2 for sure!!
I've finally found someone who is speaking the same language as me! I've been thinking about how to make documentary/vlog/reality show (whatever you wanna call it) type of video more cinematic for a while. And your tips are so on point! Thank you
2am rn, currently watching all your channel, man u are good! 👏🏽 your vidéos are so educational bc of all the knowledge you give but at the same time so satisfying to watch! keep it up man! love from Paris, France ✌🏽
just found you ...By far the best video I have seen on TH-cam on this topic. You can tell you're a true artist and the artistic instincts are natural as well. But seems you have extensive education. Your images are stunning as well.
I discovered your channel not too long ago and I'm glad I did because your work is outstanding especially what you do on your other channel Vuhfilm keep up the great work man 👊
So cooled that you used Honey Bunny and Ringo as demo images! Pulp fiction is one of those movies that showcases many elements of cinematography and story telling. Must be difficult to color grade film motion images? Engrossing lecture!
But they do though. Rather than being a hater, why not educate yourself? Or just yeet yourself off something real tall, couldn't give a fuck either way 🤡

As a beginner I want to say: thank you! Your videos are hugely informative, engaging, and inspiring for me to keep learning the art of photography.
Sometimes I think Vuhlandes has a massive tracking server cause he always knows what we looking for
On God 😭😂 one time I commented "I need a no light meter videos" he liked it and it came out 2 days later 😭😭😭
accurate AF
The lighting your talking about that you prefer is called Upstage Lighting, and it's definitely a preference for film directors. You Nail it for sure

V Try To Do A Cinematic PhotoShoot For Someone So You Can Inspire Us …
Mamiya's viewfinder gettin hella dusty being open like that.
Beautiful work tho
'Cinematic'. Pfffft. What buzz word you gonna go after next? Don't forget to CAPS it! :)
How miserable do you have to be to actually type out weird comments like this? Please get a life. This is sad
That thunder had me looking around!!
Smoke cigarettes 🚬 to get light beams.
First comment
but none of your photos look cinematic though, so this is pointless
But they do though. Rather than being a hater, why not educate yourself? Or just yeet yourself off something real tall, couldn't give a fuck either way 🤡
What a loser
