I have a stunning , tuned TX200 and the Walther out of the box is amazing. Just as good, quieter, just as smooth and faultless engineering. You pays ya money and take ya choice!
Our kid has bought an LVG Master Pro. 22. 2016 model . Amazing rifle. He has fitted an A-Tec silencer. I took it to Atherton Rifle range and it was as quiet as the Daystate and Air Arms top end PCP's. Just amazing for a springer! I've ordered an LGU 177. limited Edition in Walnut. Real man's rifle!!
I have or had a collection of springers and PCP’s. Got rid of all bar 2. Sold BSA Scorpion, HW100, HW90, AA200TX, AA Pro Sport. I am left with what I love. An HW110 and the LGU which in my opinion is the best springer on the market. An absolute pleasure to shoot, accurate and smooth.
Giles .. love ya Air a gun show and you wit to .. You put abit of humour into it .. Great that ..Really like the trigger on the Walther's .. Got A century and getting the LGV Master Pro ..Keep up the great show ta Anthony
Im interested in one of these...but would like to see a test done between the AirArms TX 200 and the this new Walther LGU in .177. What do think Giles...possible.?
Wow the designer must have been looking at the tx range on this one. mk1 barrel design and the later anti bear trap! priced in just under the tx and 97 so will probably sell well. nice review Giles but on some can we see how they perform at 60 yards from the standard field target sitting position ,
Stock = Italy Barrel = ? Rest = Turkey (probably Hatsan) Assembled = Germany You want 100% German made? Trade your car in. Giles is the finish on the LGU as rubbish as on the LGV? What's with the piston finish?
Giles ...whats the story regarding the trigger on these?...Alan asures us its a metal trigger for uk guns but the reviews seem to say otherwise... stating its a composite (plastic ) trigger??.... cheers matey and thanks for the reviews..
Gus pls help me too choose... im interested to Buy Walther LGV , Walther LGU , Walther Parrus , Walther Terrus Which airgun is best and Good in accuracy?
Armex? I have seen some of the butchery done by Armex to excellent guns in order to make them UK legal and the adding of anti tamper devices in a way that compromises the quality of the gun. I would buy nothing which comes via this importer.
I really wish you could review this rifle, I am looking into getting one and I don't think at this point that any other will compare for a spring rifle.
Sorry Coen, no offence meant, but sometimes if I am filming I have to concentrate on what I am doing. I met a lot of great people at the show. See you next year. Giles
yep, apart from the stock it literally looks like a combination of the two, cant blame them for copying 2 of the greatest ever underlevers though I suppose but it would of been nice if it brought a new look to the table, good price point though, if I was in the market for a new springer I'd definitely consider this.
The aesthetics really let the LGV down. Styling was trully awful. This looks a wee bit better. TRigger was also crap on LGV, I wonder if they have fixed it on this
Very very nice rifle but a lot of equally if not better rifles out the there,ie air arms tx or pro sport many of the weihrauch range all very well built and very capable rifles, having said that still a very nice rifle for a reasonable amount of money.
Obaj Panowie nie przekonują ani znajomością ani ubiorem. :0 Wiatrówka jest bardzo dobra - krótki i miękki cykl strzału, bardzo składna i bardzo celna. powyżej limitu równie dobra.
im in no doubt it will be a good gun, but to say its basically a tweaked copy of a tx220 hw97 which have been around for 15-20 years, it doesn't seem that impressive at all
sorry guys but walther pcps have cheap nasty cast alloy bits .. and this is another modern take on a 30 + year old design ,, its all been done so many times before , advertising it as the next big thing just hasnt got the shine anymore
as nice as the new copys are its the opposite end of the rifle that is least talked about the barrels , weihrauch make the best in the business from centrefire rimfire and the airgun barrels , something air arms lother walther nor walther lgu can match .
I have a stunning , tuned TX200 and the Walther out of the box is amazing. Just as good, quieter, just as smooth and faultless engineering. You pays ya money and take ya choice!
2:27 so many unique features that you can't even talk about them 😂

I've sold mine to a friend recently, I had to take it back, once trigger has been improved it's just an amazing machine.

I have an LGU. It's the real deal. Up there with TX200 and HW97

Jim I've got the l g u fantastic it's a dream pellet on pellet the other German guns are good but this is perfection
Im interested in one of these...but would like to see a test done between the AirArms TX 200 and the this new Walther LGU in .177. What do think Giles...possible.?

OR the designer has been in a coma for the last 30 years .and genuinely believes he is onto the next big thing ,
A cracking gun I shot it with Airgun Gear and I will say it was smooth accurate and put pellet on top of pellet on the range with it ;-)
Stock by Minelli, barrel by Walther, trigger guard by SMK.
Stock = Italy
Barrel = ?
Rest = Turkey (probably Hatsan)
Assembled = Germany
You want 100% German made? Trade your car in.
Giles is the finish on the LGU as rubbish as on the LGV? What's with the piston finish?
jackr1975 My HW97K .22 is 100% German made, and I didn't have to trade in any cars to get it :P
mrmactknife
Stock is from Menilli Italy. ;)
got the limited edition fantastic gun .....
great video Giles , i have my LGU .177 already on order
atb brian
So why they have been discontinued recently ???
Great review getting one
So, if they're so great, why are they not made anymore?
Anti bear trap mechanism... unheard of... ahem tx200 ahem
Giles ...whats the story regarding the trigger on these?...Alan asures us its a metal trigger for uk guns but the reviews seem to say otherwise... stating its a composite (plastic ) trigger??.... cheers matey and thanks for the reviews..
Are the walther LGU going to be available in the US and if so when and will they be around the same price and features.
Gus pls help me too choose...
im interested to Buy Walther LGV , Walther LGU , Walther Parrus , Walther Terrus
Which airgun is best and Good in accuracy?
Tx200 and hw97 they are hard to beat put your gun up against these 2
Wow!! that's a lot of gun for that money I'm very impressed guys thumbs up

I have got a tx200hc better gun than the lgu and hw97 trust me
i was there and you just ignored me gilles
ted from teds holdover was a lot more friendly
Sorry Coen, no offence meant, but sometimes if I am filming I have to concentrate on what I am doing. I met a lot of great people at the show. See you next year. Giles
Looks a lot like a hw97 or tx200 only not as good astheticly.
Seen it, touched it, fired it......it's dam good.
Nice, walther usually do provide the goods, looks like they've done it again then :) Maybe i will get my hands on one for review ;)
yep, apart from the stock it literally looks like a combination of the two, cant blame them for copying 2 of the greatest ever underlevers though I suppose but it would of been nice if it brought a new look to the table, good price point though, if I was in the market for a new springer I'd definitely consider this.
Agreed mate
The aesthetics really let the LGV down. Styling was trully awful. This looks a wee bit better. TRigger was also crap on LGV, I wonder if they have fixed it on this
Best off the shelf gun in the world 🤣🤣🤣🤣 clearly never used a weihrauch
Thems the facts right there people. My air arms is prettier but it's definitely my weihrauch for the win.
Under the forearm, is it rounded like the TX, or is it flat like the Pro Sport?
Oh I would love one! UK only??? Boo.
Did anybody else get the impression he was trying to sell these guns :-0
Well he does run a review & info channel,go figure 😉👉
Get these guns while you still can... I hear they don't make them anymore.
Want one
Carbine or full length barrel?
Giles. Can you say sick-a-phant?
Very very nice rifle but a lot of equally if not better rifles out the there,ie air arms tx or pro sport many of the weihrauch range all very well built and very capable rifles, having said that still a very nice rifle for a reasonable amount of money.
Creepy salesman of the year 😂😂
Quote "its got some many design features you cant even talk about them"....excuse me but WHY?...surely this was your opportunity to do just that?
My BSA mercury challenger always outshot the German guns.
Walther LGV Imagetrailer 01 EN

powyżej limitu równie dobra.
£350 for this or another £80 & you can get a hw 97 kt, mmmmm, ill keep saving
I prefer my 97k over my TX cause of that irritating button you have to push. If you know what you're doing, you'll hold the lever while loading.
im in no doubt it will be a good gun, but to say its basically a tweaked copy of a tx220 hw97 which have been around for 15-20 years, it doesn't seem that impressive at all
not so cheap now thats for sure
If you can find them in the first place😀
@@buijs1967 Still looking for one, i can dream 😅
Did he say the BEST? Hhahahha wait wait hahahhahahaha :)
The fucking Jeremy Clarkson of the airgun world...smug smug smug.
Poor trigger discipline on the fancy fellas part
Pan w garniturze to obciach, Pan w koszuli, krawacie i bluzie to już ekstawagancja w wydaniu chłopca nie wiadomo skąd
Toooooo heavy bb
Hw 97 is better !!
Bollocks
