Mandroid reminds a bit Baxter Stockman from the Ninja Turtles (As the plot progresses, he loses more and more body parts. Only in this case it happens voluntarily).
I REALLY DOUBT ABOUT WHETHER THE UNICRON REALLY DID CHOOSE THE MANDROID CHARACTER AS HIS HERALD AS THE TERMS OF SINCE UNICRON CAN ONLY REFORMAT CYBERTRONIANS BUT THE UNICRON CANNOT REFORMAT ORGANIC MATERIALS SO THAT MEANS THAT UNICRON WOULD RATHER WAIT FOR THE CYBERTRONIAN TO FIND HIS DARK ENERGON AND NOT WAIT FOR THE HUMAN TO FIND THE DARK ENERGON EH.
While watching the show, I noticed several similarities to Belos from The Owl House. Both are discriminatory towards a race of creatures or people that they do not consider human because they come from other worlds and can do impossible things. Both destroy their own bodies to reach the same level as those they hate. They both see themselves as the heroes of the story even though it is obvious to everyone that they are the bad guys. Both have no problem killing children to achieve their goals. Both try to commit massive genocide on those he hates, betraying those like them and killing them brutally (Belos with his brother Caleb and Mandroid with agent Croft), they also for a moment managed to kill the protagonists of their story, but were eventually defeated at the end. It's kind of funny because one of the themes of both shows is about identity. Sorry if I was babbling a lot about this! I just really like both shows and both villains are simply well written and perfect as the main villains of their respective shows.
I don't want to spoil things but what i seen in latest episodes he's a puppet as well puppet master if I'm not mistaken he will be the key to a Marvel g1 comic villian coming to animation. Someone who read g1 and seen this show will know who i mean because mandroid is like i said puppet and puppet master based on what we're seeing in these clips.
Never seen that series of Transformers yet, but I’m wondering how he could carry that giant right Arm attached to his body around without a problem. I mean it must be really heavy, and he stands and walks like it has no weight at all.
My head cannon is that he has some sort of exo frame or internal modifications prior to the outward parts. Which given how long he's been planning this isn't actually that hard to believe
Mandroid reminds me of Silas from transformers prime who was a human terrorist that by the end of the series he ended up becoming a cybertronian cybernetic monster using the corpse of breakdown to become a Decepticon.
I wonder if by season 3 of g1 Dr Arkevil was dead as well as Sparkplug was also dead. I also think it’s just a matter of time before Megatron and the Decepticons turn evil again in Transformers Earthspark series and restart the war against the Autobots and Optimus Prime
I think megatron is optimus prime allies in earthspark because in this series optimus prime and megatron will face another dangerous enemy like magmatron, galvatron, nemesis prime, unicron, tarn, overlord, nova prime and megatron x
Realistically he wouldn't even be able lift the arm up.. Or even stand up as the arm would weigh at least few hundred kilos. And either autobots or decepticons can easily kill this clown with a single crush or squash him like an insect or a round to his head.
Eh not really, This character actually suffered from an different species showing on his planet, he lost his right arm Belos didn't really have reasons
But, they're still similar in their methods of "protecting" humanity from outside forces, only to be no better than the very thing they're fighting against.
the people shitting on this show because one of the characters is non-binary are so missing out. the character doesn't even just focus on the fact that they are non-binary! They're a scientist, they love their family, and they're not a danger! Seriously, this type of hate comes from the same people who harass trans people with "what's in your pants??"! Seriously, for people who complain about trans people, you are the only ones interested in other people's genitals! the show is decent! saying it's bad because "pronouns" is shallow and stupid! Like, give real criticism! because this is just your personal perspective and it is prejudice! Not that you understand what prejudice is.
Honestly this is the worst Transformers cartoon ever, right above the second Robots in Disguise cartoon that's supposed to be a continuation of Transformers Prime, but the absolutely only good thing about this show is him. This is really the best voice acting role I've ever heard from his voice actor

You might wanna mention that the 2000 TMNT( Very good show)
Maybe Baxter Stockman(2023) has the same goal
Well begrudgingly considering he hardly seems to enjoy it ether 😅
Mandroid’s character has also reminds me of Koba from Planet of the Apes, Zamasu from DBS and Captain Ahab.
Agreed. Only, I find Mandroid and his spiderbots more intimidating and creepy!
Wonder if this dude is gonna be foolish enough to become a herald of Unicron just because he wants commit genocide on the cybertronians.
This antagonist actually justifies Megatron's... everything. D^mn.

Mandroid is my favorite human antagonist in all of Transformers, better than even Silas. Wish we could have gotten more of him.

physic tend to get fuzzy in transformers as a costant, and it's still less dumb than kicker surfing on a sword from a while back...
