Yes, you can use live mode to assess the image or just look at the playback on the screen on the back of the camera. I use capture one because it’s easier to integrate into the video and share the results. Thanks for watching.
Yes, you are right, I could have used a smaller aperture to increase the depth of field. However even at F 22, I still would not have enough depth of field to keep all parts of the subject in focus. Thanks for watching.

May I ask one question? Why did you not choose F16 or F22 to increase the DOF? Obviously increasing the light intensity appropriately to compensate.
