As a lifelong LA sports fan, I have strongly disliked this shift over to HR happy baseball. I was yelling at my TV for Belli to just get a RBI double because relying on launch angle has been the exact reason we have struggled with RISP so much in this postseason. But every so often, the long ball works. And I legit didn't even believe it because so many well hit balls this postseason have just been loud outs. But this one wasn't. And by God no matter what happens the rest of the way I will never forget it.

I was at the game and my GOD the amount of energy the whole stadium went trough was insane, not only the moments leading up to the homer but we were all on our feet United it felt amazing 🤩 I’m so happy this game couldn’t have gone better

Pollock hit was huge. It was not a good pitch to swing at either. A slider just out of the zone he could have easily grounded into a double play with but it found a hole.
When he said that live, I was like did he just call AJ "Jackson Pollock"? Lol, took me a minute to realize that oh yeah, Atlanta's pitcher was named Jackson. But it worked so well and was hilarious.

Maybe, but we won't know until after game 5 who really has the momentum. If it was 2-1 Dodgers, I would say yes. But the truth is that the Dodgers have to win games 4 and 5 or else the Braves still have the advantage returning to Atlanta.

This is my thing though he should've went with the slider after the high heat. That's why you change the hitters eye level. He would've struck him out but instead he threw him the same pitch in the same zone and Bellinger was waiting.

This only evens out what happened in game 2 which was rough for the Dodgers.
He timed up that fastball at his eyes, because he knew it was coming. Any 1-2 pitch is almost always either a high fastball or a curve in the dirt. Everyone knows he has had trouble catching up to high fastballs, and the pitch before he was late. Beli, deeked the pitcher into Beli knowing a high fastball was coming.
