Hi all, if you've come from Impulse's video (or indeed anywhere) and are looking for a basic shulker farm design, I suggest having a look at this design th-cam.com/video/4kNhwgjX8A8/w-d-xo.html instead (tutorial: th-cam.com/video/xefUnfrR_co/w-d-xo.html). It's a little slower, but significantly simpler, and very easy to build! If you want to build the design shown in the video, there is an unofficial tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/4HIqtZHHg9A/w-d-xo.html
I just built this today in my world at home. It is completely overkill for my needs, but it was a great challenge. Thanks for the great video and all your work. One note for people building it themselves. The supercharger takes very long to be populated. After a few hours of AFK, only one shulker teleported in. Shulkers simply have a very small chance to teleport into the supercharger, but it will happen eventually. Just be patient and let it run and you will get there. Also, be very sure before you purge the supercharger to avoid losing hours worth of accumulated shulkers.
Thank you for all the contribution to the shulker farming community :) Always amusing seeing you in various TH-cam videos + Reddit posts haha From a casual viewer perspective, your videos across the year have been very informative, and interesting as to how builders constantly innovate their designs.. Thanks once again for the video
Thanks! I'm a bit obsessive about keeping track of everything shulker-related, it's true! I'm always interested to see who is using my designs, so do feel free to leave a comment letting me know if you see it being built in the wild! Same goes for what other people are doing with shulkers, for example I saw some really interesting designs recently that use mobs to kill the shulkers (Iron golems in one case and pufferfish in another!)
I built this farm on the Patreon Server of one of the Hermits a few days after the season 9n launch and we've hit over 2,000,000 million shells from the farm. We have an early version with the extra shulker in the supercharger that never fires. We have only had to send the supercharger shukers back into the farm twice and both times were because of chunk loader issues. The farm does need its minecarts restocked every month or two. But other then those minor issues it has been the most stable and bountiful farm we have built. Keep up the good work.
Glad to hear you like it! Which hermit's patreon, may I ask? The original concept, and a lot of the original design, was actually done by a group of us on Tango's patreon. Interesting about the extra shulker not firing, is this one with 9 shulkers in? The issue with the minecarts vanishing I believe is due to shulkers breaking the minecart through the wall in the chamber. It is probably possible to fix this with a bit of tweaking of the minecart track, but it sounds like it's not a big problem.
@@EndingCredits it is on Joe Hill's Patreon Server. And it is the one with 9 shulkers in it. The newer versions have one less. I've seen the occasional minecart sitting beside the pickup hoppers so there may be some breaking edge cases in play. But with millions of shulkers killed I'm more than happy to deal with the occasionally required minecart restock.
ok i'd just like to say thanks for this design, i built it after cubic's design proved to be rather unreliable (it's been a while, but something with the shulker dying and not being replaced, needing manual restarting), and it's been super reliable since, probably due to how shell production will be paused until the spare shulker bank is full (that is such a simple but effective feature) so, thanks, and i can't believe it's been over 2 years since shulker duping was added
testing out the 3 versions in 1.21 (in a void world with tick warp over 800 minutes), while the 2.2.2 version is faster than 2.2 (800/hr vs 955/h), the 2.2.3b version is slightly slower than 2.2.2 at 919/h did something change that effects the rates in the versions since?
i play on a server and used the scaffolding trick with the supercharger, and it has already given us more shells then we will ever need, so thank you for sharing much appreciated.
I've now added world download to the video description, sorry for the delay! WDL: drive.google.com/file/d/1uXOMBHax4QM3MlRK80eF48Ln72NQolPt/view?usp=sharing (NOTE: Older version)
Hey bro love the farm, just finished it and working perfectly, the only "problem" I had is that it takes forever at the beggining to get the charger completed but after 3 hours when it is full the farm is super op. Love your work, cheers from Argentina
Yes, sorry, should have made it clearer in the video! Fortunately after the first shulker teleports in it doesn't take long for it to reach decent rates.
Today I've finally finished building this farm. So far I've got one shulker box full of shulker schells within 1h 40m. That's actually amazing! The rates will be even better after all of the 8 places are filled with angry shulkers. Currently I have only 5. Thank you for this.
Your mechanic explanation is excellent. It has a perfect pacing, is concise and to the point, no excessive rambling, but that part was a bit difficult to hear because of the audio quality.
multiple designs of this farm exist now, Ending Credits and myself have come up with several that do not require the supercharger and we have also figured out how to funnel the shulkers into a player kill chamber so you can use this as an xp source but also get looting off the shulkers killed to raise the drop % from 50% to 68.75% with looting 3.
@@EndingCredits there is nothing wrong with sticking with shulker farms tho. You’re a good reference when it comes to shulker farming because of that. But go ahead with stacking raid farms! They still look very complex (mechanic wise, not necessarily building wise) and your explanations will probably help and inspire others.
hey i know im really late but im having trouble getting the shulker onto the piston. i’ve deactivated it hoping it would go onto the glass block above it but it never goes there. i even tried on a creative world and spawned in a ton to see if any would go in and none of them did. do you know what could be going wrong?
AMAZING. Love the use of simple scaffolding. I tested the design from an older video of yours, unfortunately it didn't work reliable. So i went with Rays Works 1 dimension farm in my world- Would have preferede this one but too late now. And i got a bit more than a 3 barrels full of shulker boxes with shulker shells. So yea wont need another farm in the far future.
Yeah Rays Works designs aren't really the best. He designs farms that aren't very efficient or stable and fails to mention the flaws of his systems or any alternative designs by other people. I think it's good to do some research to see what farm suits you best.
@@artemis_furrson I also prefer other more simple farms- but in my testing (done in 1.18.1 on a fabric server with carpet) tick warped and it broke already after 10-30 hours. Which is very unreliable. But I had more luck with Rays design with all the glass, think he calls it the (shulker reactor) or something. But I was running it for a month or so on my survival server, (also carpet 1.18.1). No tick warp but 24/7 with a carpet bot. no problems🤔🤷🏼♂️
hey i hope u can answer my really quick question i made this farm and followed kelps instructions but when the shulker hits itself it teleports and doesn’t duplicate. to make it worse the shulker ends up dying. any tips?
thank you for the great farm, i'm really excited to build this in my world. i was wandering if you ever tried to add more supercharged cells to the farm, since in the other video you showed how adding more cells greatly increase the rate, i thought that maybe adding more cells here too can make it more op
you really made me believe there was a cinematic coming with that loud music....... anyways great video! really odd to see such a cheap setup produce so many shells.
So I had a shulker that absolutely refused to go into the chamber. Never did figure out why. Maybe it was too hurt and just kept tping away 🤷🏼♂️ idk. I used my back up and it went in no problem. So if you’re having this issue try healing the shulker or getting a second one in.
@@EndingCredits I saw it happen twice. First time, the farm was off and I placed a shulker on the soul sand at the bottom of the farm. It teleported into and up the farm and the scaffolding immediately caught fire. I reset the world and tried again. I did the same thing, nothing happened, so I switched the farm on. After about 20 minutes of flawless operation I switched it off again. The scaffolding immediately caught fire.
Hey, is this farm compatible with minecraft 1.20.4? And when do i put the snow golem and shulkers in the farm? Cuz i will build this farm with the litematic so do i move the shulker and spawn the golem after i fully build it with the litematic or i move and spawn them midway while im building??
This farm is compatible with 1.20.4. You put the snow golem in while you're building it (snow blocks and carved pumpkin). There is also an endermite in a minecart that needs to be named and moved into position. The shulker can be put in at the end.
Thank you so much for replying and answering my question, i just learned litematica shows the entities as well so when im building it layer by layer i will spawn the mobs when it shows them. Again thank you@@EndingCredits
Hey sorry for bothering, i just finished building the farm, the schematic says to put a minecart on the top abive the fence gate so do i just put a minecart there? Or do i load the barrel with minecarts and the minecart will automatically go there? And when i load the barrel with minecarts do i press the button to dispense a minecart or no?@@EndingCredits
I don't understand the purpose of the soul sand block under the glass cell in the middle and those isolated soul sand blocks on top of slab just outside the perimeter of the farm (one on each side on the lowest level). It doesn't seem they are connected to any redstone circuit and I don't believe shulker can teleport on them, so do they have a purpose or are they leftovers from the building process?
It keeps blowing my mind that 1d shulker farms can be so fast. How effective is each shulker in the supercharger? I want to make a tileable design and that would probably mean saving on lag as much as possible
Well, 8+1=9 shulkers total suggests about 130 shells/hour per shulker, which is quite a bit lower than for a single non-supercharged farm. That said, you have to consider that a single cell is not just a single shulker, but all the other entities as well, so just adding a few etra shukers + bullets may actually work out a bit better. I haven't checked the rates for different number of shulkers in the gun, but obviously it doesn't scale linearly and there are diminishing returns, so there will be a sweet-spot. In fact, my next video will be on tiling different designs, and trying to maximise rates with restricted entity counts, so that may be interesting to you!
I built this on an Smp by hand after combing the litematica schematic. This supercharger and auto kill simply dose not work. The shulkers prioritize scaffolding teleports over the supercharger and zero moved into it. As well as the auto kill the shulkers only teleport up once the breeding shulker has died and it actuates the trapdoor right below it. Outside of that the design works great, almost to good. It reliably replaces the breeding shulker and the spawning is exceptionally fast even without the supercharger. Enough to make adjustments to the auto kill system a task to say the least. 😅
It can take a while for the supercharger to fill up, though do make sure the supercharger is turned on. Not sure what you mean exactly about the auto-kill system, but it should only let shulkers up when there's a backup available (so when the pressure plate is pressed). If that isn't happening then something is not working as intended.
@@EndingCredits I got the supercharger to work using upside-down slabs for the redstone. I had never heard of that before. But got that working. In regards to the auto kill. Shulkers won't willing move onto the auto kill trapdoors from the trapdoors used on the system to make sure you have backups. To work around this I tied in another redstone repeater clock on the opposite side of this system to actuate them every 5 seconds. This forces them to move up to the autokill.
anything special that needs to be thought of to enclose it as v1 of your farm? I am putting this near a populated area and am trying to limit the shulker flyby effect
Make sure there's nothing within 8 blocks of the farm. Can also enclose it in glass panes as before. The upercharger might be a bit harder to enclose, but I'm sure you can work something out.
Just recently built this farm and it's absolutely amazing. I have had one hiccup however. Sometimes the minecart will get broken while I afk. It's often enough that I can only run the farm for an hour or 2. Not the end of the world, but I was wondering if anybody knew any possible fixes. (built using the new schematic in description)
I will build this using the litematica. I have a question, when did u move the shulker and spawn the golem? While u were midway building the farm or u moved and spawned them when u fully built the farm?
it will but you need to make sure that it is well above the ground. Also just mechanically, it would probably be easier to build out in the outer islands so that you dont need to deal with moving the shulkers back to the main island.
@Ending Credits my shoulder reload system doesn't seem to be working. Everything up to where the shoulder drops is working. The rail above where the activator is not powered.
There shouldn't be any rails above any activator rails? So you mean the rail above the detector rail? There should be a lever on the side of the glass that needs to be on.
Just built in 1.18.2 and for some reason the system is constantly trying to refill itself. It's not waiting until the shulker dies, just launching a minecart on the comparator clock loop. Anybody else experience this?
How do you get the scaffolding to float, I am trying to build it with a schematic and it won't place scaffolding like that, it also is showing all the redstone dust/raids facing specific ways but when I try and play the item it just defaults a different direction, Can you do a block by block tutorial to show if there are any specific ways to play certain blocks... or link to a block by block that is the same as the schematic listed in this videos description.
Ive been having some problems with the farm or it might just be my skills to do with shulker duplicating. My farm seems to be changing the shulker very regularly compared to the test world. Do you know if there is anything that could have an inpact on this. Cheers!
Bullets get depleted wen they hit the soul sand, while they are preserved at the slab at the end. If you use a single supercharger for two cells then it would deplete twice as fast, so you'd have half as much "bullet density". Given how easy the supercharger is to build I don't think it makes sense to share one between two cells (ecept maybe for lag purposs, but I can't see it making much difference).
Does the super charger needs to be filled with shulkers? In the world download it seems the shulker don't fill in the super charger at all. If I use spawn egg to fill in the super charger, they will just kill each other :(
It takes a while for it to fill up (about 15-30 mins for first one). It's strange that they kill each other with spawn egg, not sure why that would happen.
Wither roses flat out do not exist on the skyblock server I'm currently playing on. Is there another way to kill the shulkers, bearing in mind that they are immune to fire damage (so no campfires, lava, or magma blocks) and they teleport away from water.
Why do wither roses not exist - no nether access? Suffocation/entity cramming is the easiest ways, you can try the boat grinder I showed, though it's a bit of a pain to work with.
@@EndingCredits Skyblock server, no access to other dimensions - and no wither roses in shop. Turns out that iron golems DO attack shulkers - so it's possible to combine an IG farm with a shulker farm.
Ive watched this multiple times now and examined the world file myself and I dont understand how you get the shulkers inside the superchager to aggro in the first place... I see that they do aggro, but i dont understand why as they seem too far away to me. what am i missing?
@@MrGump-gi9yx They get aggrod by social agro when the golems hit the breeding shulker. Shulker social aggro range is really big horizontally (like 17 blocks horizontally, but only like 9 blocks vertically) but it's limited by the range to the golem as they de-aggro if they get more than 20 blocks away from the golem.
So I made the farm and it works, but I'm in a weird situation where the minecart that pics up the shulker vanishes after a moment of not being in motion, stopping the farm, and when I manually send a minecart for a new shulker the previous minecart with shulker reappears with the new cart. So I can't really afk for the farm since it just stops. Does anyone know why that happens?
I followed the unofficial tutorial of this farm and I'm just trying to figure out why my shulker's aren't teleporting to the wither rose field?. They are all in the layer below.
Hey ending credits do you know if there is a infinite amount of shulkers that can be alive at one time, I put 2 reactor designs next to each other and the enitity amount is around 128 higher than the cap I’m just curious if I can add more farms and still have shulkers spawning, I believe I heard something in the past about shulker duplication slowing if there is too many in a small area what I want to do is have many spread out farms all working at once
It does slow down if there are too many in a given area, but that's like 8 blocks apart so you can build multiple farms next to each other easily enough. The main thing to watch out for is cross-aggro, but for reactor designs this isn't a problem and actually is beneficial.
Sounds like you built something wrong. If you join the discord link in the description and send me a screenshot of the chamber I can have a quick look.
I dont understand why but I built this farm and when I turn it on it just keeps trying to replace the shulker even though there already is one. because of this the farm produces no shulker shells whatsoever regardless of how long I run it. cause it replaces the shulker constantly.it seems that the fencegate at the top opens for too long or something like that. because when it sends a minecart to the top to grab a backup shulker the trapdoor doesnt close and it just drops a shulker down when there already is one in place. I have no idea how to fix this and would love it if someone could explain to me why this is happening and how to fix it
@@EndingCredits I dont know what the problem was but after flicking the lever to turn the farm on/off a couple of times it has been working for a couple of hours without fail. Is it true that there is not supposed to be a backup shulker on top of the fencegate at all times? I might have misunderstood that and that could be why things were going wrong. I thought that it was supposed to have one sitting on the fencegate at all times but it seems the system just grabs one from the blocks whenever the original shulker dies
i was looking to build the version of this farm showcased in KelpMC 's video and i want to build 9 of them, so how far apart do i have to build them so the farms work as intended?
I'm not really interested in doing a block-by block tutorial, but maybe I'll do one of a future iteration. I am willing to give permission to people to make a tutorial on this farm, but please contact me first.
@@EndingCredits right now i downloaded the world map and am trying some weird stuff out. For some reason my shulker in the farm below it keeps teleporting out ever 5 a 10 mins, so im trying to make an automatic replacement system (not sure why it teleports out so often but alrit) I just dont know rlly how to make a compact system that recognizes when a shulker is out and so it needs to replace it..
@@HG-HazeGaming The shulker will teleport out of the farm, but it should be automatically replaced by the farm. Is the rpelacement system not working? I will add the new farm to the WDL
is it acutally possible to make a manual kill area? I love this farm but dont like being afk to farm stuff :-D is there a way to add a manual killing area?
Yes! At the top, I installed a tower to the side. Make 3 viable teleport spots just within range. Then tower up above that, another 8 spots. Shulkers which reach the top of the farm will move their way up into the tower, where you can hit them (i used stairs and walls to prevent them from seeing and hitting me). Up here, they can not social aggro the shulkers in the system below
I haven't tested this yet. In theory you can build them so that the cells are overlapping with the centres 9 blocks away from each other, but there are potential issues with cross-aggro between cells causing trash muppets, plus cross feeding of modules causing shulkers to end up in range of other cells at bad moments. I will hopefully take a look at this in the near future, but for now I'd reccomend you build the farms next to each other with zero overlapping of the scaffolding This would give 22 block space between shulkers which should be more than enough to prevent social aggro between cells. Test your layout in creative first.
I'm in the process of integrating this design into my base on a creative world before I do it in survival but I am having this strange issue with the shulkers not gettting killed by the wither roses and them not activating the pressure plates as I see them do in the world download. got any advice as to why this is? i am running a fabric 1.18.1 with the carpet mod installed idk if that would affect it and if so what would i need to turn off in the mod to make it stop damaging this farm?
@@EndingCredits yeah I did that and it did seem to do better but the thing I'm most confused about was how the wither roses were doin no damage whatsoever to the shulkers
First off, thanks to you for these instructional designs. Secondly, I’ve built a farm with the 8 spot reactor, yet I’ve yet to see any shulkers teleport to the reactor. The trap doors are open to accept them…. ??? I’m stumped why it’s not loading, any thought what may be causing this?
It takes a while, like 15-30 mins for the first one. Also, check that the trapdoors have a flat face against the edge of a block available. On some designs this is on the side (like in the video) but in the newer designs it is on the bottom.
For the 8 block range which inhibits duplication - is that an 8 block "radius" (as the wiki says) or is it the same 17x17x17 cube (8 blocks away centered on the shulker) that is the viable teleportation range? Specifically I ask because of the super charger. Can the super charger shulkers be within the 17x17 cube, so long as they are on the diagonal enough that they are out of the 8 block "radius"? Thank you!
It's a cube, same as the teleport range (actually it's slightly different since it grows the shulker hitbox by 8 blocks so it's actually one block bigger in the direction the shulker opens).
Not an "official" one, though I believe there is one on youtube somewhere. We're planning on doing a tutorial on the simpler version from my latest video at some point in the near future.
@@EndingCredits Awesome! Really looking forward to it! I seen LogicalGeekBoy's vid thinking it was a tutorial, which brought me here thinking this was the tutorial lol Although I learned some interesting stuff about shulker mechanics from your vid, trying to eyeball the build and replicate it manually has been a bit difficult. So far this is by far the best design I've seen, so Thank you for the interesting tips!
yeah they break but they go everywhere exept the hopper, i have even put out more hoppers but they go up in the scaffolds and other places. can i just wall it in with glas or something?
@@timlarsson6582 This is not usual behaviour, could the hoppers be getting locked by anything? Also, is it a paper server? You can try encasing it in glass (trapdoors might be better - easier to teleportproof), maybe that will work.
Thanks for a great video and the amount of work put into it. Looking forward to testing it myself. From viewing the video and then the litematica file i see there is some bits missing in the bottom around the comparator clock? Also, maybe a dumb question, but to get the farm going, do you need to bring the first shulker to the spot by the snowgolem over the preassure plate? Thanks
You can bring the shulker anywhere as long as it gets into the farm somewhere (and not above to holding chamber). Also, thanks, I'll double check the litematic!
@@EndingCredits got it, the farm is working perfect but for some reason after 30 minutes of afk not a single shulker has gone into the shulker multiplier to make the farm faster, the trap doors are flipped down and are working but they just wont tp to it?
Awesome farm, I have a question though I started building it in my solo world and in your latest schematic there is a scaffolding instead of the trapdoor in front of the breeding shulker, is it how it's supposed to be ?
Just built this on my server! So far its working alright, but for some reason they arent teleporting to the super charger.. is just just luck of the draw for them to get close enough to teleport to that side?
@@EndingCredits Thank you so much, love your design btw. Will probably have trouble placing the endermite, but hopefully i'll make it :D. Still messing around with an item collection system in creative for now.
@@HexuTV Not from me, but someone did one here: th-cam.com/video/FthBrOW4O9I/w-d-xo.html The endermite shouldn't be too difficult to place, just make a box so it can't escape and then throw some pearls onto some rails. When you get one you can place a cart and then push the cart into it. And then push the cart into the right spot. If you're still unsure, if you have a look at videos for endermen farms they should have bits showing you how to get endermites.
They shouldn't teleport up until the system detects a shulker in the first holding cell. Check that the trapdoors close when the pressure plate is pressed.
If all shulkers are dying then something is probably built wrong. Check the golems stop firing when the shulker is replaced, and check there aren't any unbuttoned spots that stray shulkers are sitting on.
@@EndingCredits i have built it exactly how the schematic shows and the one on the world down load. Could lag have an effect on it or possibly do I have too many snow golems? I have 24 in at the moment. Your help is very much appreciated
@@stephenvierra6461 Is the trapdoor next to the golems the right way round? It needs to open up into the golems faces and block their shooting completely. 24 golems is a lot. It may be causing issues, but not sure. If it's easy to, maybe try killing and replacing them with 3-5 golems.
Hi! maybe a dumb question, it's about the whole farm (emerald block lever) and the shulker supercharger. Do I have to turn them both off every time I leave? Or just one of them? Or can I just leave both on and go? It's in the end, not in the spawn chunks.
Just make sure it's on the right setting; the trapdoors shuls make a surface for the shulkers to sit on (facing down in the newer versions). It can take a while for the first one to appear though.
Yo dude i do the farm but no one of the shulker go to the final trapdoor and after the wither rose because the shulker who press the pressure plate to activite the trapdoor cant press it , i play on a random server and there are some plugins do you think it because of plugins or may be datapack ?
The shulker is on the block facing into the pressure plate and extending into the pressure plate? Have you confirmed that the pressure plate is making a redstone signal?
@@EndingCredits yes she extend to the pressure plate but the pressure plate doesnt do anything and im sure that's the problem ,so because the pressure plate dont move , the redstone doesnt active
Did you put the trapdoor at the duplication chamber 1 block too high on pupose? I'm currently tresting the farm in creative and the trapdoor wont close when the shulker is closed, so it wont stop the bullets like this. Really nice farm anyway :D
Yes. Turns out it slows dow the rates because you have to wait for the shulker to fully open before it can be hit with the trapdoor in the original position. With the fast aggro with the endermite, it seems to be stable without the trapdoor blocking. However you still need something to block shulkers teleporting, so moving it one bock up works.
@@EndingCredits I just built your farm in 1.19 and at first all things were good, but now the shulker that is down is dying to fast, I have 5 snow golems and 1 shulker in the supercharger, you might know what is the problem?
@@mariusmafteiv If the farm is running properly then it won't matter if one is low health. It sounds like there's some other issue like a rogue shulker sitting somewhere it doesn't or the golemsn firing even when the shulker restocks. Check that the trapdoor flips up and the golems stop firing when the shulker is replaced. Also, check the size of the farm is correct, should be 17x17 on the bottom layer.
Hi ! Great video really informative, you are showing design from darc at the end of the video that seems to be 2k+ and not that much difficult to build, is there a wdl for it somewhere ?
That design is significantly more difficult to build because you need to stock up the supercharger manually. If you're going to go that far you might as well build the portal-based 10k farm. The shulker detection also isn't reliable and there aren't obvious alternatives. It's basically just a prototype to show that you can push 1D shulker farming a lot faster. I may design a proper farm based on it at some point, but for now it's much better to stick to established designs.
@@EndingCredits I added a rail system under the supercharger. When the replacement shulkers are dropped below, they can instead be diverted under the super charger. There, an activator rail engages which pushes the shulker out and into the super charger. This fills the super charger quite quickly, and then you deactivate that part of the rail, to deliver the replacement shulkers as normal once the charger is full.

But with millions of shulkers killed I'm more than happy to deal with the occasionally required minecart restock.
ok i'd just like to say thanks for this design, i built it after cubic's design proved to be rather unreliable (it's been a while, but something with the shulker dying and not being replaced, needing manual restarting), and it's been super reliable since, probably due to how shell production will be paused until the spare shulker bank is full (that is such a simple but effective feature)
so, thanks, and i can't believe it's been over 2 years since shulker duping was added
testing out the 3 versions in 1.21 (in a void world with tick warp over 800 minutes), while the 2.2.2 version is faster than 2.2 (800/hr vs 955/h), the 2.2.3b version is slightly slower than 2.2.2 at 919/h
did something change that effects the rates in the versions since?

i play on a server and used the scaffolding trick with the supercharger, and it has already given us more shells then we will ever need, so thank you for sharing much appreciated.
Love these dives into shulker breeding, and your video was really well put together!

Once it is loaded though, it should always be fast

Incredible farm. Great video. Thank you for sharing your design.
Today I've finally finished building this farm.
So far I've got one shulker box full of shulker schells within 1h 40m. That's actually amazing!
The rates will be even better after all of the 8 places are filled with angry shulkers. Currently I have only 5.
Thank you for this.
And I thought shulker farming reached its limit, who would have expected that scaffolding will be an essential redstone element, amazing
Your mechanic explanation is excellent. It has a perfect pacing, is concise and to the point, no excessive rambling, but that part was a bit difficult to hear because of the audio quality.

Great farm. Great video. Think I'm gonna have to try this some time. Loved the primer.
multiple designs of this farm exist now, Ending Credits and myself have come up with several that do not require the supercharger and we have also figured out how to funnel the shulkers into a player kill chamber so you can use this as an xp source but also get looting off the shulkers killed to raise the drop % from 50% to 68.75% with looting 3.
5 years from now, Ending credits will still be posting new shulker farm videos and I’ll still watch them hahaha.
It does feel like I am stuck making shulker videos!
I'm actually looking to branch out into some new areas, like stacking raid farms.

This farm is fantastic

my shulker isnt activating the pressure plate underneath it. I am on a fabric server and not sure if this is fixable?
this is an amazing farm. well made thank you
We have run the previous design for days and have not had any issues.
No tick warp but 24/7 with a carpet bot. no problems🤔🤷🏼♂️

hey i hope u can answer my really quick question i made this farm and followed kelps instructions but when the shulker hits itself it teleports and doesn’t duplicate. to make it worse the shulker ends up dying. any tips?
It was probably low health to begin with - try a few splay pots of healing, or one of regen
thank you for the great farm, i'm really excited to build this in my world.
i was wandering if you ever tried to add more supercharged cells to the farm, since in the other video you showed how adding more cells greatly increase the rate, i thought that maybe adding more cells here too can make it more op
I have considered it. My next video will be on multi-cell designs, so I'll explain the pros and cons a bit more in that.
@@EndingCredits cool, i'm looking forward to it
you really made me believe there was a cinematic coming with that loud music.......
anyways great video! really odd to see such a cheap setup produce so many shells.
I wouldn't mind doing a cinematic, but a lot of people said they don't like them.
So I had a shulker that absolutely refused to go into the chamber. Never did figure out why. Maybe it was too hurt and just kept tping away 🤷🏼♂️ idk. I used my back up and it went in no problem. So if you’re having this issue try healing the shulker or getting a second one in.
great vid :p
This works for 1.20.4? I've been searching for days and I only find farms that are broke in the newest versions
Yes, this version should be fine.
the lava inside the farm keep burning my scaffoldings... even In your shared world...
how can I fix?
I have never seen this before. maybe just don't put the bits of scaffolding near the lava (and put something like glass instead).
thanks! now it doing well~
@@EndingCredits I saw it happen twice.
@@cdreNightshift Very odd. I guess make sure to surround the lava with blocks to stop any potential mishaps.

Hey sorry for bothering, i just finished building the farm, the schematic says to put a minecart on the top abive the fence gate so do i just put a minecart there? how many mobs does produce the farm ? i wanting to build a automatic shulker mobswitch that can automticly turned to a shulker farm.
2 shulkers for every shell, so over 2000 shulkers per hour.
Can somebody help I'm not to sure what I've done wrong but whenever I turn it on the shulker teleports out immediately
They mop up stray bullets flying around.
@@EndingCredits Oh, I see, thank you!

Make sure there's nothing within 8 blocks of the farm. Can also enclose it in glass panes as before. The upercharger might be a bit harder to enclose, but I'm sure you can work something out.
i believe the boat suffocation trick is from rayswork?
Might have to go and check.
Since this farm only makes use of a single dimension, does it still work if I were to construct it on the main end island?
Yeah. I saw LogicalGeekBoy build this design in the End… can build it anywhere snow golems can survive
it will but you need to make sure that it is well above the ground. Also just mechanically, it would probably be easier to build out in the outer islands so that you dont need to deal with moving the shulkers back to the main island.
How do you get the other shulkers to attack the breeding shulker?
Social aggro. My video on the 10k farm goes into more details.
Cheers!
Is it possible to share a supercharger between two cells? or is it more practical to have two separate superchargers

Is it the aggro shulkers that teleport to the edge of the scaffolding layers that provoke the super charger?
@@MrGump-gi9yx They get aggrod by social agro when the golems hit the breeding shulker. Shulker social aggro range is really big horizontally (like 17 blocks horizontally, but only like 9 blocks vertically) but it's limited by the range to the golem as they de-aggro if they get more than 20 blocks away from the golem.
@@EndingCredits I see, That is really good to know. Thank you!
I figured it out thanks! I didn't have the trapdoors opened (not the ones that were planted with the wither roses) but the ones below on either side.

It can take a while for it to happen (like 30 mins). Though make sure the trapdoors are facing the right way (the redstone shouldn't be powered IIRC)
I built this farm on my server and the issue I keep running into is the shulker refuses to go into the replication chamber and just teleports away.
I have no idea how to fix this and would love it if someone could explain to me why this is happening and how to fix it
Is the shulker in the breeding chamber opening fully?
@@EndingCredits I dont know what the problem was but after flicking the lever to turn the farm on/off a couple of times it has been working for a couple of hours without fail. Is it true that there is not supposed to be a backup shulker on top of the fencegate at all times? I might have misunderstood that and that could be why things were going wrong. I thought that it was supposed to have one sitting on the fencegate at all times but it seems the system just grabs one from the blocks whenever the original shulker dies

is it acutally possible to make a manual kill area? I love this farm but dont like being afk to farm stuff :-D is there a way to add a manual killing area?
Yes! At the top, I installed a tower to the side. Make 3 viable teleport spots just within range. Then tower up above that, another 8 spots. Shulkers which reach the top of the farm will move their way up into the tower, where you can hit them (i used stairs and walls to prevent them from seeing and hitting me). Up here, they can not social aggro the shulkers in the system below
So I am planning on making 2 or more of these farms, and I was wondering how far I should build them apart?
It shouldn't have any issues with carpet. Maybe try and replace the pressure plates, as sometimes litematic can do strange stuff with pasting.

At least 10 bloks from any scaffolding. Unless you use teleport-proof blocks
@@EndingCredits oh my interesting. i never considered that when the shulker opened it extended the range by one in that direction. thanks!

@@timlarsson6582 This is not usual behaviour, could the hoppers be getting locked by anything? Also, is it a paper server?
You can try encasing it in glass (trapdoors might be better - easier to teleportproof), maybe that will work.

End or Overworld, 10 blocks above ground (OR can build above ocean).
Just don't build in a desert (check that snow golems can live).
How do I get the initial shulker into the farm to begin the actual farm?
Just get it anywhere within (or near enough to) the farm. It shoudl teleport to the holdign cell at the top and then you can just turn on the farm.
@@EndingCredits got it, the farm is working perfect but for some reason after 30 minutes of afk not a single shulker has gone into the shulker multiplier to make the farm faster, the trap doors are flipped down and are working but they just wont tp to it?

Spigot can be very variable depending on server settings, so I can't give any guarantees, but yes, this farm usually works on spigot/paper/etc.
Awesome farm, I have a question though I started building it in my solo world and in your latest schematic there is a scaffolding instead of the trapdoor in front of the breeding shulker, is it how it's supposed to be ?

Just need to get a shulker in there, put some minecarts in the barrel and switch on the lever.
Just built this on my server! So far its working alright, but for some reason they arent teleporting to the super charger.. is just just luck of the draw for them to get close enough to teleport to that side?
Yes, it's luck, but do check that the trapdoors are in the correct position.
Noob question right here.. howmany snow golems should i place in the farm? :/
Around 3-5
@@EndingCredits Thank you so much, love your design btw. Will probably have trouble placing the endermite, but hopefully i'll make it :D. Still messing around with an item collection system in creative for now.
@@EndingCredits Any chance you will ever make a "how to build, in survival" video? For the newbs :P
@@HexuTV Not from me, but someone did one here: th-cam.com/video/FthBrOW4O9I/w-d-xo.html
The endermite shouldn't be too difficult to place, just make a box so it can't escape and then throw some pearls onto some rails. When you get one you can place a cart and then push the cart into it. And then push the cart into the right spot. If you're still unsure, if you have a look at videos for endermen farms they should have bits showing you how to get endermites.
@@EndingCredits Just built it on our server, it was fairly easy, awesome design! Thank you!
my shulkers only stay on the top scaffolding layer, and don't teleport to the killing area, is there a reason for that?
They shouldn't teleport up until the system detects a shulker in the first holding cell.
Check that the trapdoors close when the pressure plate is pressed.
@@EndingCreditsoh the trapdoors weren't closing, can't seem to figure out why but thank you
@@hvensnt Double check the redstone, maybe you missed a torch or dust somewhere.
Love the farm. Any suggestions on how to keep it running longer than about an hour? All shulkers seem to die in that time
If all shulkers are dying then something is probably built wrong.
How do u build this
So the whole killing chamber is full and none of them are hitting the wither roses
So im an idiot and my creative world was set to peaceful so they wouldnt do anything 😂
Hi! maybe a dumb question, it's about the whole farm (emerald block lever) and the shulker supercharger.
Do I have to turn them both off every time I leave? Or just one of them? Or can I just leave both on and go?
It's in the end, not in the spawn chunks.
You can leave it running!
Playing in 1.19
Being AFK for over 30min, the supercharger is still empty
I'm using the litematic(new) version
Just make sure it's on the right setting; the trapdoors shuls make a surface for the shulkers to sit on (facing down in the newer versions). It can take a while for the first one to appear though.
@@EndingCredits Thanks!
Turns out I just running the farm long enough.
Does the pressure plate in the breeding cell work?
Either way I'll have a look at a design that works without the pressure plate.
@@EndingCredits if you talk about the pressure plate below the shulker near to the snowmen yes its work
Does this farm work in bedrock ?
Question is would this work on bedrock?
no
is there a tutorial for this farm??
Did you put the trapdoor at the duplication chamber 1 block too high on pupose? I'm currently tresting the farm in creative and the trapdoor wont close when the shulker is closed, so it wont stop the bullets like this.
Really nice farm anyway :D
Yes. Turns out it slows dow the rates because you have to wait for the shulker to fully open before it can be hit with the trapdoor in the original position. With the fast aggro with the endermite, it seems to be stable without the trapdoor blocking. However you still need something to block shulkers teleporting, so moving it one bock up works.
How many snow golems should i have placed in there?
3 to 5
@@EndingCredits I just built your farm in 1.19 and at first all things were good, but now the shulker that is down is dying to fast, I have 5 snow golems and 1 shulker in the supercharger, you might know what is the problem?
Might be because maybe my first shulker wasn't full health? And if that's so, can I get a dupped shulker to full health and drop him down?
@@mariusmafteiv If the farm is running properly then it won't matter if one is low health.
It sounds like there's some other issue like a rogue shulker sitting somewhere it doesn't or the golemsn firing even when the shulker restocks. Check that the trapdoor flips up and the golems stop firing when the shulker is replaced. Also, check the size of the farm is correct, should be 17x17 on the bottom layer.
@@EndingCredits I managed to make it work, thanks for the help.
@@EndingCredits oh ok thank you ! I thought the 10k design was really a prototype ? What would I need to design myself for it ?
@@Sardoron They're both prototypes.
@@EndingCredits what is missing from the 10k one ? Does it need to be manually filled too ?
How long do you have to run the farm in order for the supercharger to be full?
About 2-4 hours
@@EndingCredits I added a rail system under the supercharger. When the replacement shulkers are dropped below, they can instead be diverted under the super charger. There, an activator rail engages which pushes the shulker out and into the super charger. This fills the super charger quite quickly, and then you deactivate that part of the rail, to deliver the replacement shulkers as normal once the charger is full.
@@MattWalker1027 That sounds pretty interesting, feel free to jump on the dicord if you want to show it in more detail!
Is this also possible on ps4 ?
Sorry, shulker farms don't work on bedrock edition.
