Its getting worse. Plarium doesn't give a shit at all. The only thing they care about is the money that comes in. Its time to move on and find a new game.
I cannot really say, I'm at level 53 and have about 6 silver medals. I do see opponents with fewer legendary champions, but then they are like level 67. Plarium could consider player level when determining the opponent list. Also, I keep fighting battles that stalemate, I used to quit after 10 minutes or so, but today I let a battle run to 100 minutes, just to see what would happen. Perhaps a mechanic for a tie, or something.
@@4_dennyfauzulhakim479 the arena is already unplayable. It's causing players to quit because they can't progress. If the arena isn't tied to progression then players can at least progress and play the rest of the game.
Or drop the Mission requirements significantly. I'm stuck needing to get to Gold 1. Considering how far I've gotten on the CB and Campaign, that would have been easy a year ago. Now it should be dropped to Silver 1. Instead of needing a certain amount of Gold shields, drop it to Silver, etc. I'd be happy if they'd balance the missions to reflect the unplayable state of the Arena.
That's a terrible idea. It doesn't fix earning great hall upgrades. They need to add tiers to Platinum, and then the Arbiter missions and great hall upgrades and bonuses and tier bonuses all fix themselves.
They could add a new tier between gold and Platinum, increase Platinum to 4 tiers. They need to acknowledge that the game is no longer friendly to new players and adjust accordingly or remove the importance of arena to accomplish missions. I recently improved my Seekers speed from 254 to 275 and am winning again. I am nearing Silver IV. I had been in Gold IV for months before tag team arena. I digress.
Agree with reasons 1 to 3 but don't think reason 4 and 5 are legit. Instead I would give you 2 other reasons: 1) the small number of slots for Gold and Plat are a joke. Accounts improve and new players and new whales join with slots staying the same. It will get worse every week if plarium doesn't expand the playernumbers for each tier by at least triple what it is now. Imagine that all those strong teams will reach gold again... then it would be possible for new accounts to do missions again 2) The Arena meta is dominated by only ~15 champs. If you don't have them you stand no chance. With every whale chances grow that regular players drop out of their tiers.
I've had a theory myself that we were all mistaken. we all assumed those with legendaries in lower tiers were inactive players but i think they are just players that neglect arena and by removing inactives we removed the accounts that were beatable from the list. i based this on having someone in my clan like that. where they had around 4 million player power, logged in everyday, but were sitting in silver
Same problema i can t progress in gold 3 i floating between 1 and 1 is so struggling ! Damn im low spender only with big money in the pocket i wll progress as well and i dint want to.!!
Much worse in bronze 4 as well. Still trying to get to silver now getting kicked out of b4 easily by seriously over geared legendaries etc. bronze 4 with players over 170k gear. Quest line still broken for me
I'm lvl 77 and fall down from Gold 2 to Silver 2 without chance to came back. No chance to get 900 gold batches for Arbiter quest. I had already 300 gold medals and 1200 silver but you can't use silver batches for it!!!!! Sick. I spend till 2.000 euro / Mo. but now since 2 weeks.... nothing. Not at this way. Same here are used to be in silver 4 gold 1 once upon a time and now I am struggling in silver 1 and 2 smh I have a maxed out prince Kymar, Venus, madam serris & mm
Prior to the "fix", I was struggling to stay in Gold 4, even almost got to Platinum once. Within a day after the fix, I was at Gold 1, next day I dropped to Silver 2, then next day Silver 1. I can barely get to Silver 3 before the reset occurs, then the next day I'm back down to Silver 1. On the mission progression, I'm on stage 4/4 needing to upgrade a GH Bonus to level 7. W/o being in gold, it's nigh on impossible to attain. Not too mention stage 4 also requiring to get one to level 8, 9 then 10, it's totally an impossible undertaking. So all I do now is click refresh every 15 mins and pray I get a team I at least have a chance at winning. Once I get 5 matches in, I no longer even bother trying for more. Totally no longer worth the frustration.
Ever since they "updated" the Arena, (sometime before the first battlepass,) it has gone slowly worse. Used to scrape by in Gold4, then update happened and was crushed down, down, down to the Silvers. Just barely holding on to that, mostly due to crappy matchmaking and weekly point rob- reset. Would be nice if there was some kinda "midway point" at least. And quest-line is stuck for many due to player NEEDING to be in certain Rank during the quest for it register.
I think the reset is a huge part of the bigger problem with arena! You could also say that its a huge stab in the face to be pushed back after a lot of hard work simply cause it is the end of the week.
I was in gold 4 in February, now I'm in silver 2 with a mission to reach gold 4, it's like a slap in the face, every week gets harder, just gonna stop arena soon it's just painful.
There's no team comp diversity anymore; it's all just Arbiter, Lyssandra, Hegemon, Lilitu, Tormin, Shazar, Rotos and Siphi now... I swear, ever since the lovely ghost couple was added to the game, everything has gone downhill... Everyone began scrambling to get as much Speed as possible to outpace them and Plarium, always eager to sell us a solution, started selling packs of Speed gear and the whales gobbled them up... Now look at the state we're in.
I think a good idea would be to just create more arena tiers. The main "problem" in my eyes is that there are just way more people playing the game now. If we would have more tiers there would be more chances for new and f2p players. Of course they'd have to change the progress missions as well.
Just add tiers to Platinum. As many as they need to in order to make Gold IV about as hard as it was 6-8 months ago. It's an easy fix. Plarium is just dumb as shit.
Hey Salt, I don’t know if it’s gotten worse, but I still can’t get past bronze 4. My arena team has around 86,000 power and the mission to “upgrade a great hall thing to level 4” just isn’t going to happen anytime soon. I didn’t expect a huge change when they said they were going to fix arena, but it doesn’t really seem like anything happened.
its not about power is about speed or defense....power is crit dam and resist basicly 2 ways to win 1) be faster....speed up team ...def down....nuke...cc/or buff before nuke 2) be defensive and survive the enemy ...then tank and spank em
Arena is still borderline unplayable at silver 1. The biggest problem is that there are caps on the number of players at a given tier. Uber teams have nowhere to go because the tiers they should be in are full. Plarium should get rid of the caps altogether so that players that belong in high gold can be in high gold instead of low silver. If that is too much then tier 1 of each bracket should be uncapped so gold players are never out of gold.
Worse! I've gone from being in gold 4 as a FTP lite, to a -now- FTP player 2 months ago, now I just fell from gold 1, and now am in silver 4. Their FIX did the reverse on what they wanted it to do.
Thanks for doing this...it’s been frustrating not having the other content creators come out and say this! I’ve seen multiple LEGO teams in bronze 2!!! So we need to know what the time frame was for eliminating teams...also, is it eliminating teams that haven’t been in the arena or people who haven’t logged into their accounts? Because some people may not even do the arena bit log in for daily rewards maybe? And I agree that all of us have gotten better bc of the content creators have ads us better. So we are all bunched up...maybe seed with computer teams? Just so we could get medals? I don’t care what my tier looks like...I just want medals to progress in the great Hall and missions!
Plarium could easily fix the majority of the arena problem: PUT A DAMN FLOOR ON EVERY OTHER LEVEL UP TO GOLD 1. Once you reach each floor tier, you CANNOT fall below it. Limiting the amount of players in each tier below Platinum (if that's what they're doing) is STUPID. Still trying out other games. When I find a fun one, goodbye RAID. I've rage quit far too many times, and your game is becoming mostly frustrating.
please no to a floor iv pushed up to silver3 before through constant resetting and doing like 8 fights a day it was awful trying to find much to fight in silver2 im happy dropping back to silver1/ low silver2 to farm medals
They need a bigger pool for everyone. There is probably too many players and not enough space for everyone to fit. After the nerf I went from gold 4 to 1 and have a hard time not dropping into silver. Just my luck I'm on the reach gold 4 mission, which really sucks cause I was already there for atleast 6months.
The quickest fix would be to remove the penalty for losing in battles you choose. You should only lose when other select you for a battle and beat you.
Me facing 66% Legendary rocking Arbiter/Shazar as lead, Rotos/Sihpi/Dutchess/Tormin etc and Skullcrown /Madamé in Gold 2 is fucking horrible! 65+ LVL on the accounts in average is kicking me down the barrel every week. Sat pretty at G4 before whatever happened with Skullcrown, Valkyire, Stag and Seeker and I have been Improving their gear mixing it up and trying but I can't get the speed needed to counter Arbiter.
This was obvious when they first told us they will remove inactive accounts.. in any game if there are no inactive accounts you are bound to fight with people that play 24 hours and have better teams
Arena is getting much much worse every day. The main problem is that too many people have purchased speed packs/glyphs. The only way i can see to fix it is for F2P players to only get paired with other F2Pplayers. Plarium's disgusting greed has broken the game
A couple months ago my arena team was a lot worse not nearly as much speed as now and i was consistent with gold 1, now I’m stuck in silver one/two making it extremely hard to farm medals and stuck on great hall missions
Yeha they haven't fixed anything still getting teams with like 2 to 3 legendary at the worst. Have 219 speed on my Sethallia and there teams that are faster than mine. ON BRONZE 4
Lol my apothecar is 242 in bronze 4 now, dude you need more glyphs, stop farming dragon and start pushing in faction wars in just one or two crypts, focus on them to break through the bosses and get the glyphs.
It is getting worse for me. Before the fix I was Gold-1 sometimes Gold-2, this is after being in Gold-4 before the nerf. Now I am in silver-3 and am having trouble winning even there. In tag team arena I am in bronze-3 and I am having trouble staying there. In tag team I only have 2 Lego champs that are booked and I constantly face teams teams with 9, 10, or even 12 Lego's. This is in bronze-3! My classic arena team has an Arbiter lead with 300+ speed and everyone else is 220 or better speed, and in silver-4 I have trouble going first.
i have never raged as much on any i phone game as i do in the arena on this game. ill be able to finish in 100 years. gorgorab and apothecary are way OP in the arena. i hate them with every fiber of my being
I’ve been saying for a while now that we need more arena tiers. As the player base grows the top end gets crowded and good players “drop down” to make it easier for them which makes it harder for anyone newer. We need a whole new set of 4 tiers for platinum so the whales will move up and good players will advance again away from silver and bronze.
another issue: at every reset you go down to the bottom of your tier. what i mean is that i if youre tier is between 2100-2300 points and at teh reset you have 2290 poiints youll be sent back to 2100 points. now after the reset it takes a few attacks and you drop some more points now youre down yet another tier. thats how i slowly slipped from g2 to silver4. im trying to get back to g1 but im getting hammered on my defense and keep dropping. theres no use fighting it
At best Silver 2 has stayed the same, but today specifically it appears to have gotten worse as I'm nearly dropping out of Silver 2 instead of running nearly half-way to Silver 3.
I'm pretty sure that the main reason is the removal of the arena event. I had to put weak deff in the arena in order to drop my natural tier, just because the event was depending on the medal wins. For example it was better to me to drop in bronze 4 (2 medals) than to stay in silver 1 (1 medal). I can't remember when was the last time i saw a food champions for defence. Every single player is fighting for his higher place and the reason could be the arena tournament, because it's giving you more points if you win a match in higher tier. Also the prices for the event were juicy and i personally prefered to be demoted in lower tier but to have the chance to earn epic book .
Arena od sooo much worst! Couple of weeks ago I was in gold 4 and now can't go higher than silver 4. Classic arena stoped my mission progress. I'm thinking about quiting game its no fun at all ;-(
I used to be Gold 3, now I can’t see, to get out of Silver 3. So, it’s totally not getting better. But you have a point. With the Tag Team Arena, people are paying more attention.
As a newer player, the Arena system seems silly at this stage. I set my defense team to nothing because it is better to lose defenses and stay in the lower brackets so each time I do play offense, I can win a lot of matches very easily and build up my guild hall. Then on the last day or two, I increase my defense team and try to climb up a bracket or two before the week ends. There is no incentive for me to try to increase my bracket the first 3-5 days.
I HAVE SAID THIS A MILLION TIMES ITS THE DECREASE IN THE TOTAL AVAILABLE POINTS IN THE POOL. It’s like a currency, if each week you are burning people’s excess points, there are less and less points in the pool which makes them more and more difficult to acquire. Therefore making it harder to rank up! To fix it, Plarium needs to remove this point removal system and flood the playing pool with points so that everyone returns to where their team originally should be!
I think its not getting better and Plarium doesn't give a damn about fixing it. Right now I think they are just going through the motions to keep the heat off them from investors. But soon enough another bad review bomb will happen as its inevitable with how they are acting.
It is the first week in a long time that I cannot stay in Gold 4. Since the "fix" the teams I encounter are so much faster and with so many broken champions that arena became imposible to me.
I think it’s the same, I don’t think they fixed a thing. Not even sure what patch 1.12 did beside pacify players hoping to get a fix. Now they are promising 2.2 and the void tower.... I think you’ll see a big drop in numbers if all they come out with it, and only come out with the camp fire and the crafting (which won’t work right till the next patch).
Before the 1st set of changes I was in g4 in the starting place then I dropped to g2 after the first set of changes now I'm on gold 3 after the last 'fix'
I agree mainly with the reasons 1 to 3. The arena needs a mechanic change. The last fix worked a little, but it was a palliative. One more reason is the number of people that already completed the arbiter mission and are still in-game. In my experience, the fact that there is a lot of people running Arbiter as speed lead from Silver IV to Gold IV is a huge problem for new player account progression. For someone who has only a Gorgorab or a High Khatun as the fastest speed lead is very time-consuming to surpass the 7% to +11% extra speed aura from an Arbiter. In time, more people will get her, and the problem will only grow. Furthermore, farming dragon 20 for the right speed gear is not fast enough to progress against those who buy speed sets. As a minor improvement, they could give a card to skip one mission once a month in a "month's quest". Thus, we will have a guarantee of progression in some like Reach Gold IV or Reach Silver III. The good thing is that it will not unbalance the game because we have 360 missions to get the Arbiter.
One solution can be to add another tier in classic arena so to player move up and make gold more reachable. As people progress gold is getting harder and harder. Another solution is to change missions to: win x in arena (any tier)
My suggestions... 1. Arena is now end game, so those missions should be at the end of progress missions. 2. Stop weekly reset outside of platinum. 3.Give medals for defense wins. 4. Make defensive losses have no penalty outside of gold 5. Make offense loss penalties lower.
They can fix Arena by making you set your team weekly instead of interchangeable. Then match you with 15 other teams. 5 below your teams power level, 5 at about the same and 5 above. That way to you can do your 5 for the dailies and stay in one tier or progress if you manage your artefacts and reward players for grinding the dungeons.
1. They need to figure out how to separate free to play and low spending players from pay to play players, 2. Balance the champs so that there's more than just a handful that you see on the top players lists. 3. Get rid of the void shards and add void champs to the other drops, even if some of the best ones are void, not enough of them are worth how difficult it is to get void shards. 4. Fix the hidden mechanics of each champs individual drop chances and make them all equal for their respective tiers (rare, epic, legendary) rather than the good ones having less of a drop chance than less useful champs; eliminate the 10x summon events, spread out the double events and make them 5 times rather than two
It is so frustrating for me I just got to the gold 4 mission today and I use to be in gold 4 before they messed with arena. Now i'm in gold 1 dealing with people who have freaking arbiter's because they used to be arena 4
According to the leaks, their "nerfs" are negligible, amounting to leaving them with all of their unbalanced abilities and just reducing the chance by a measly 5% on some of them.
As a low spender it is getting really hard. Now I have to choose where to focus in the game. I can no longer get champions that is good for multiple parts of the game rather than getting dedicated champions for the arena. Getting 4 champions that works well together and getting them geared out, max level and masteries costs thousands of energy.
For me it’s actually got easier to stay in silver 1. Before I was bouncing between bronze 4 and silver 1. I recently was able to complete an arena mission, which had taken me such a long time.
Arena at the lower levels of G4 after reset is just jammed up with top end teams. It can be hard just to stay there. Once teams start to separate it’s much more manageable and enjoyable.
I agree with your suggestions, but how does this mean that Arena is still broken? I have three accounts (Mid/End, Mid and Low FTP) and the FTP has seen a change in the teams available to fight, for the better, but they're still difficult (I'm B3). The Mid/End has dropped from G4 to S4 over the last two months and the Mid has been stuck at S2 for around 4 months. If you're increasing the number of Legos out there due to shard pulls, as well as getting better gear, and you're not the beneficiary of that increase (as my main account has not been), then you're going to go backwards. I'm almost at Arbiter and I expect to get back into G1 after that, but the teams I'm fighting are not "broken".. they're just better than mine. For me, there are two issues to be dealt with. 1. As robyburning below has said, as well as every CC out there, the Plat pool needs to be increased. That will redistribute the rest of the teams upwards from where they are. 2. The Missions/Challenges need to be re-worked so that accounts are not marooned at the S1 or G1 stage, as my FTP and Mid accounts are. Resolve those two issues and what is left is simple team management and working an arena to get better. Remember... You can't expect everything to be given to you! Winning at Arena is not a right, it's a challenge.
300k-400k+ teams in g4 ? That is a thing now! And what do we compete for ? Some shit gear that ends up producing 200k silver, for i have been always selling most of it and maybe some shards and some rare books.
i hate tag team arena and i hate arena. for long time i try to play only for upgrade the great hall, I have been stuck for a long time on missions and challenges because of the arena, now I only do the 5 games per day for energy but I take random players and I play automatically, I don't care to lose.
It's definitely gotten better for me. It doesn't match me up with over powered teams, seems like it matches me up with people I can compete with. It's more competitive not harder for me. I never see teams with 300,000/400,000 team power anymore. It's always teams between 185,000 and 250,000 team power. I'm at 209,000 team power.
Account is 50, like 50 days played, up to 3 60's though I don't use all 3 of my 60's in arena since they are not necessarily good for arena. I'm stuck in Bronze 4 even if i barely scrape into Silver I can't get wins there to get the medals i need to move onto the next progression, and god forbid how long it's going to take to get to gold. I hope they consider just lowering the requirements for the progression awards.
I'm a newer player to the game. A little over 2 months played and I cant get out of bronze 4 even though I have decent champions for the reason of not having the right gear. I also am faced with teams I just simply cannot beat in bronze 4 that seem like they should be in silver no problem. Really wish there would be a good fix so I wasnt stuck on the arena mission for arbiter.
About the same I'm mostly in low/mid silver II these days. To me the last month or so it feels about the same. Maybe just a tad better than it was. I have not been improving my classic arena team during that time, so I think it's a fair observation.
Arena has been slightly better for me in the past week or so. Before the changes, I was lucky to grind out a few wins in silver one each week, last weekend, I collected about 100 wins and even made it temporarily in silver 2 a couple times.
i'm lvl 70, so at the start of the week i fight a lot of bronze players. arena reset on mondays happens at the same time for everyone. i can never play the game at that time. 2 weeks ago i was in silver 2 with 1406 points, lost a fight and got bumped to silver 1, with 1300 points. this week i had 1412 points and got bumped again. the upside of this is that i get a lot more medals, last monday i used all my arena tokens for the first time in many months.
@@MarioGaldi PvP content doesn't care what level you are, how active you are or how skilled you are in the game, it just measures the size of your wallet. I love the game and don't want to quit, but i would enjoy more if the missions didn't force me to play arena
I have to agree on the tag team comments I actually can't stand doing tag team cause why would I want to fight 3 speed teams when I can fight one classic arena. I think the issue of a speed cap needs to be talked about so other stats can have a chance. I run a defence classic arena team with 3 characters over 4000 defence and I get nuked in less than 13 seconds on speed teams who have 70000 less power. I'm all 4 stat manipulation and playing the game but Having speed as the end all stat is absolutely unacceptable.
Points 1, 2, & 3 makes sense to me and I agree with you on them, but not so much 4 & 5. One possible reason could some players' sense of entitlement or unrealistic expectations. Over the last few weeks, I've read a lot of comments from people who say things along the line of "I've been playing for X months and I can't get into Gold 4!". Obviously, from reading comment sections/REDDIT posts, you can't see how good/bad their teams are, but with the amount of events and tournaments recently, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to assume that people are concentrating on those events instead of farming food/pots/gear to improve what they have. One thing is for sure though, unless the meta changes, the problem is only going to get worse. Luckly, a lot of people are trying to build competitive Arena teams that don't rely on going first. As for my own experience, I have noticed a large change in the teams in the Bronze 1-3 brackets. There are no more lvl 60+ whales, but there still are a lot of baby whales with poorly geared teams that are easy pickings. There are usually only 1-3 teams in each list that I can't beat.
But, when the opposite team is faster, you don’t even get a turn. In events and tournaments it seems the match-up generator does not have a second protocol
I'm stuck in Arbiter misión reach gold3...I'm 7 months in low spender...but without speed lider like lisandra o Arbiter it's imposible to reach gold3,or gold4....plarium need to move down misións of progress...
I gave up on the 400 silver medals. 99% of the game is locked behind that progress challenge and I've done it already. But unless I start buying gear sets I won't have the gear to climb Arena.
Also you need to have certain champs or you can't reach high end. If you don't have crazy speed with speed boost then you won't make it far unless you pull tormin he's about the only counter to all the speed/debuff nuke team's and it's rng.
I said it and im saying it again. They need to ad more classic arena levels. Bronze, silver, gold and platinum from 1 to 5. And add another sapphire or whatever name. With 1000 players tolerance. The reason is simple. There is a lot more players than before. We need to stretch
I have a pretty solid roster of champions but I am lacking in decent speed leads and gear, I used to sit in gold 4, but now I need gold 4 for mission I'm back down in silver 4 that's how much harder it is these days.
Still battling to get out of Bronze IV and Silver I, my list averages 26 out of 40 champs are Legos, 6-8 Epic and then 6-8 Kael and Apothecary set up to quick nuke. I will never get two Great Hall to 6 and then get to Gold I to finish missions. I dont even want to think about whats in the last stage of getting an arbiter. My takeaway is that the game is being shifted to P2W and if you aren't willing to spend you should probably quit.
Think this will be the week I finally drop out of gold 4, been getting harder and harder by the week. Last week I just about held but I had to grind hard for it. Seems like a distant memory I was pushing close to plat 😡

I suggest the following: If I have to fulfill an Arena mission between clearing Stage 7 of Godfrey’s Crossing on Hard and earning 3 Stars on Stage 7 of Godfrey’s Crossing on Hard difficulty , it must be the same challenging level, because now it makes me giving up playing the game because of the unreachable rewards...
I do believe that arena is getting more difficult ive been in g4 for over a year and now i actually have to work to stay in it every week where before it was never an issue
Idk I think an easy start would be for the arena to queue matches w team power.. i know it wouldn't be perfect but it would help. This is no reason to go against someone double your team power unless your in gold4 & up
There's a very clear obvious reason why it's harder. Too many people have arbiter so now new players cannot get to gold 4 without arbiter and therefore hit a progression wall as they cannot achieve the reach gold 4 arena mission. It's completely broken. Until they take that mission out of the progression missions there is only a certain group of players who will be able to compete. I have gorgorab seeker apoth kymar you name it I have it. But nothing beats arbiter or lysandra and I have neither.
What are you talking about? Arena has gotten so much better with this last update. Before the arena update i couldn't touch Silver 1, but now i can stay in Silver 1 almost reach Silver 2. The arena fix was to remove inactive teams from the arena faster. So it's not a huge fix, but it made a difference.
I don't think they want to fix the issue with arena if they really wanted to fix it in the first place they shouldn't t offer speed glyph in the shop now even new players in the game or faster.
They did nothing. I believe they moved around teams to give it the appearance of change. They truly don't care. I never really believed this because why put so much money into a game making it look so good only to do absolutely nothing after it starts making a ton of money but that's what's happening.

I cannot really say, I'm at level 53 and have about 6 silver medals. I do see opponents with fewer legendary champions, but then they are like level 67. Plarium could consider player level when determining the opponent list.
Also, I keep fighting battles that stalemate, I used to quit after 10 minutes or so, but today I let a battle run to 100 minutes, just to see what would happen. Perhaps a mechanic for a tie, or something.

Or drop the Mission requirements significantly. I'm stuck needing to get to Gold 1. Considering how far I've gotten on the CB and Campaign, that would have been easy a year ago. Now it should be dropped to Silver 1. Instead of needing a certain amount of Gold shields, drop it to Silver, etc. I'd be happy if they'd balance the missions to reflect the unplayable state of the Arena.
That's a terrible idea. It doesn't fix earning great hall upgrades. They need to add tiers to Platinum, and then the Arbiter missions and great hall upgrades and bonuses and tier bonuses all fix themselves.
They could add a new tier between gold and Platinum, increase Platinum to 4 tiers. They need to acknowledge that the game is no longer friendly to new players and adjust accordingly or remove the importance of arena to accomplish missions.
I recently improved my Seekers speed from 254 to 275 and am winning again. I am nearing Silver IV. I had been in Gold IV for months before tag team arena. I digress.
Agree with reasons 1 to 3 but don't think reason 4 and 5 are legit. Instead I would give you 2 other reasons: 1) the small number of slots for Gold and Plat are a joke. Accounts improve and new players and new whales join with slots staying the same. It will get worse every week if plarium doesn't expand the playernumbers for each tier by at least triple what it is now. Imagine that all those strong teams will reach gold again... then it would be possible for new accounts to do missions again 2) The Arena meta is dominated by only ~15 champs. If you don't have them you stand no chance. With every whale chances grow that regular players drop out of their tiers.

I've had a theory myself that we were all mistaken. we all assumed those with legendaries in lower tiers were inactive players but i think they are just players that neglect arena and by removing inactives we removed the accounts that were beatable from the list. i based this on having someone in my clan like that. where they had around 4 million player power, logged in everyday, but were sitting in silver

No chance to get 900 gold batches for Arbiter quest. I had already 300 gold medals and 1200 silver but you can't use silver batches for it!!!!! Sick. I spend till 2.000 euro / Mo. but now since 2 weeks.... nothing. Not at this way. Thanks for discussing this topic

Prior to the "fix", I was struggling to stay in Gold 4, even almost got to Platinum once. Within a day after the fix, I was at Gold 1, next day I dropped to Silver 2, then next day Silver 1. I can barely get to Silver 3 before the reset occurs, then the next day I'm back down to Silver 1. On the mission progression, I'm on stage 4/4 needing to upgrade a GH Bonus to level 7. W/o being in gold, it's nigh on impossible to attain. Not too mention stage 4 also requiring to get one to level 8, 9 then 10, it's totally an impossible undertaking.
So all I do now is click refresh every 15 mins and pray I get a team I at least have a chance at winning. Once I get 5 matches in, I no longer even bother trying for more. Totally no longer worth the frustration.
Ever since they "updated" the Arena, (sometime before the first battlepass,) it has gone slowly worse. Used to scrape by in Gold4, then update happened and was crushed down, down, down to the Silvers. Just barely holding on to that, mostly due to crappy matchmaking and weekly point rob- reset.
Would be nice if there was some kinda "midway point" at least.
And quest-line is stuck for many due to player NEEDING to be in certain Rank during the quest for it register.
I think the reset is a huge part of the bigger problem with arena! You could also say that its a huge stab in the face to be pushed back after a lot of hard work simply cause it is the end of the week.

I think a good idea would be to just create more arena tiers. The main "problem" in my eyes is that there are just way more people playing the game now. If we would have more tiers there would be more chances for new and f2p players. Of course they'd have to change the progress missions as well.
Just add tiers to Platinum. As many as they need to in order to make Gold IV about as hard as it was 6-8 months ago. It's an easy fix. Plarium is just dumb as shit.
Hey Salt, I don’t know if it’s gotten worse, but I still can’t get past bronze 4. My arena team has around 86,000 power and the mission to “upgrade a great hall thing to level 4” just isn’t going to happen anytime soon. I didn’t expect a huge change when they said they were going to fix arena, but it doesn’t really seem like anything happened.

Arena is still borderline unplayable at silver 1. The biggest problem is that there are caps on the number of players at a given tier. Uber teams have nowhere to go because the tiers they should be in are full. Plarium should get rid of the caps altogether so that players that belong in high gold can be in high gold instead of low silver. If that is too much then tier 1 of each bracket should be uncapped so gold players are never out of gold.
Worse! I've gone from being in gold 4 as a FTP lite, to a -now- FTP player 2 months ago, now I just fell from gold 1, and now am in silver 4. Their FIX did the reverse on what they wanted it to do.
Thanks for doing this...it’s been frustrating not having the other content creators come out and say this! I’ve seen multiple LEGO teams in bronze 2!!! So we need to know what the time frame was for eliminating teams...also, is it eliminating teams that haven’t been in the arena or people who haven’t logged into their accounts? Because some people may not even do the arena bit log in for daily rewards maybe? And I agree that all of us have gotten better bc of the content creators have ads us better. So we are all bunched up...maybe seed with computer teams? Just so we could get medals? I don’t care what my tier looks like...I just want medals to progress in the great Hall and missions!
Plarium could easily fix the majority of the arena problem:
PUT A DAMN FLOOR ON EVERY OTHER LEVEL UP TO GOLD 1. Once you reach each floor tier, you CANNOT fall below it. Limiting the amount of players in each tier below Platinum (if that's what they're doing) is STUPID.
Still trying out other games. When I find a fun one, goodbye RAID. I've rage quit far too many times, and your game is becoming mostly frustrating.

They need a bigger pool for everyone. There is probably too many players and not enough space for everyone to fit. After the nerf I went from gold 4 to 1 and have a hard time not dropping into silver. Just my luck I'm on the reach gold 4 mission, which really sucks cause I was already there for atleast 6months.
The quickest fix would be to remove the penalty for losing in battles you choose. You should only lose when other select you for a battle and beat you.
Me facing 66% Legendary rocking Arbiter/Shazar as lead, Rotos/Sihpi/Dutchess/Tormin etc and Skullcrown /Madamé in Gold 2 is fucking horrible! 65+ LVL on the accounts in average is kicking me down the barrel every week. Sat pretty at G4 before whatever happened with Skullcrown, Valkyire, Stag and Seeker and I have been Improving their gear mixing it up and trying but I can't get the speed needed to counter Arbiter.

This was obvious when they first told us they will remove inactive accounts.. in any game if there are no inactive accounts you are bound to fight with people that play 24 hours and have better teams
Arena is getting much much worse every day. The main problem is that too many people have purchased speed packs/glyphs. The only way i can see to fix it is for F2P players to only get paired with other F2Pplayers. Plarium's disgusting greed has broken the game
A couple months ago my arena team was a lot worse not nearly as much speed as now and i was consistent with gold 1, now I’m stuck in silver one/two making it extremely hard to farm medals and stuck on great hall missions

I’m hanging in the low g4, and the teams you’re describing are in g4. Going through all those teams is impossible.
Lol my apothecar is 242 in bronze 4 now, dude you need more glyphs, stop farming dragon and start pushing in faction wars in just one or two crypts, focus on them to break through the bosses and get the glyphs.
It is getting worse for me. Before the fix I was Gold-1 sometimes Gold-2, this is after being in Gold-4 before the nerf. Now I am in silver-3 and am having trouble winning even there. In tag team arena I am in bronze-3 and I am having trouble staying there. In tag team I only have 2 Lego champs that are booked and I constantly face teams teams with 9, 10, or even 12 Lego's. This is in bronze-3! My classic arena team has an Arbiter lead with 300+ speed and everyone else is 220 or better speed, and in silver-4 I have trouble going first.
Plarium don't give a sh*t. RAID has become Lord of the Flies, with Plarium cynically selling more & more mega-buffs to everyone until we all die out.
i have never raged as much on any i phone game as i do in the arena on this game. ill be able to finish in 100 years. gorgorab and apothecary are way OP in the arena. i hate them with every fiber of my being

I’ve been saying for a while now that we need more arena tiers. As the player base grows the top end gets crowded and good players “drop down” to make it easier for them which makes it harder for anyone newer. We need a whole new set of 4 tiers for platinum so the whales will move up and good players will advance again away from silver and bronze.
another issue: at every reset you go down to the bottom of your tier. what i mean is that i if youre tier is between 2100-2300 points and at teh reset you have 2290 poiints youll be sent back to 2100 points. now after the reset it takes a few attacks and you drop some more points now youre down yet another tier. thats how i slowly slipped from g2 to silver4. im trying to get back to g1 but im getting hammered on my defense and keep dropping. theres no use fighting it
At best Silver 2 has stayed the same, but today specifically it appears to have gotten worse as I'm nearly dropping out of Silver 2 instead of running nearly half-way to Silver 3.

I'm pretty sure that the main reason is the removal of the arena event. I had to put weak deff in the arena in order to drop my natural tier, just because the event was depending on the medal wins. For example it was better to me to drop in bronze 4 (2 medals) than to stay in silver 1 (1 medal). I can't remember when was the last time i saw a food champions for defence. Every single player is fighting for his higher place and the reason could be the arena tournament, because it's giving you more points if you win a match in higher tier. Also the prices for the event were juicy and i personally prefered to be demoted in lower tier but to have the chance to earn epic book .
Arena od sooo much worst! Couple of weeks ago I was in gold 4 and now can't go higher than silver 4. Classic arena stoped my mission progress. I'm thinking about quiting game its no fun at all ;-(

I used to be Gold 3, now I can’t see, to get out of Silver 3. So, it’s totally not getting better. But you have a point. With the Tag Team Arena, people are paying more attention.
As a newer player, the Arena system seems silly at this stage. I set my defense team to nothing because it is better to lose defenses and stay in the lower brackets so each time I do play offense, I can win a lot of matches very easily and build up my guild hall. Then on the last day or two, I increase my defense team and try to climb up a bracket or two before the week ends. There is no incentive for me to try to increase my bracket the first 3-5 days.
I HAVE SAID THIS A MILLION TIMES ITS THE DECREASE IN THE TOTAL AVAILABLE POINTS IN THE POOL. It’s like a currency, if each week you are burning people’s excess points, there are less and less points in the pool which makes them more and more difficult to acquire. Therefore making it harder to rank up! To fix it, Plarium needs to remove this point removal system and flood the playing pool with points so that everyone returns to where their team originally should be!
I used to be in g4(arounf 3600 points) now i can barely manage s4... Its so tilting, if i wasnt in a clan I would quit.
I think its not getting better and Plarium doesn't give a damn about fixing it. Right now I think they are just going through the motions to keep the heat off them from investors. But soon enough another bad review bomb will happen as its inevitable with how they are acting.

All of your reasons are creditable. There is not a current fix to the arena. I'm still struggling to get back to Silver 1.
I think it’s the same, I don’t think they fixed a thing. Not even sure what patch 1.12 did beside pacify players hoping to get a fix. Now they are promising 2.2 and the void tower.... I think you’ll see a big drop in numbers if all they come out with it, and only come out with the camp fire and the crafting (which won’t work right till the next patch).
Before the 1st set of changes I was in g4 in the starting place then I dropped to g2 after the first set of changes now I'm on gold 3 after the last 'fix'
I agree mainly with the reasons 1 to 3. The arena needs a mechanic change. The last fix worked a little, but it was a palliative.
One more reason is the number of people that already completed the arbiter mission and are still in-game. In my experience, the fact that there is a lot of people running Arbiter as speed lead from Silver IV to Gold IV is a huge problem for new player account progression. For someone who has only a Gorgorab or a High Khatun as the fastest speed lead is very time-consuming to surpass the 7% to +11% extra speed aura from an Arbiter. In time, more people will get her, and the problem will only grow.
Furthermore, farming dragon 20 for the right speed gear is not fast enough to progress against those who buy speed sets.
As a minor improvement, they could give a card to skip one mission once a month in a "month's quest". Thus, we will have a guarantee of progression in some like Reach Gold IV or Reach Silver III. The good thing is that it will not unbalance the game because we have 360 missions to get the Arbiter.
One solution can be to add another tier in classic arena so to player move up and make gold more reachable. As people progress gold is getting harder and harder.
Another solution is to change missions to: win x in arena (any tier)
One thing you forgot to mention that is pushing arena is the 1-2 times a week arena tournies. getting those rewards is a huge push for progression
Bruh all they need to do is expand plat from 300 to at least 5-10k
My suggestions... 1. Arena is now end game, so those missions should be at the end of progress missions. 2. Stop weekly reset outside of platinum. 3.Give medals for defense wins. 4. Make defensive losses have no penalty outside of gold 5. Make offense loss penalties lower.

They can fix Arena by making you set your team weekly instead of interchangeable. Then match you with 15 other teams. 5 below your teams power level, 5 at about the same and 5 above. That way to you can do your 5 for the dailies and stay in one tier or progress if you manage your artefacts and reward players for grinding the dungeons.
1. They need to figure out how to separate free to play and low spending players from pay to play players, 2. Balance the champs so that there's more than just a handful that you see on the top players lists.
3. Get rid of the void shards and add void champs to the other drops, even if some of the best ones are void, not enough of them are worth how difficult it is to get void shards.
4. Fix the hidden mechanics of each champs individual drop chances and make them all equal for their respective tiers (rare, epic, legendary) rather than the good ones having less of a drop chance than less useful champs; eliminate the 10x summon events, spread out the double events and make them 5 times rather than two
It is so frustrating for me I just got to the gold 4 mission today and I use to be in gold 4 before they messed with arena. Now i'm in gold 1 dealing with people who have freaking arbiter's because they used to be arena 4

According to the leaks, their "nerfs" are negligible, amounting to leaving them with all of their unbalanced abilities and just reducing the chance by a measly 5% on some of them.
As a low spender it is getting really hard. Now I have to choose where to focus in the game. I can no longer get champions that is good for multiple parts of the game rather than getting dedicated champions for the arena. Getting 4 champions that works well together and getting them geared out, max level and masteries costs thousands of energy.
even in my clan level 45 -60 are active but in low bronze and with full defense idk how to fix that
For me it’s actually got easier to stay in silver 1. Before I was bouncing between bronze 4 and silver 1. I recently was able to complete an arena mission, which had taken me such a long time.
Arena at the lower levels of G4 after reset is just jammed up with top end teams. It can be hard just to stay there. Once teams start to separate it’s much more manageable and enjoyable.
I agree with your suggestions, but how does this mean that Arena is still broken?
I have three accounts (Mid/End, Mid and Low FTP) and the FTP has seen a change in the teams available to fight, for the better, but they're still difficult (I'm B3). The Mid/End has dropped from G4 to S4 over the last two months and the Mid has been stuck at S2 for around 4 months.
If you're increasing the number of Legos out there due to shard pulls, as well as getting better gear, and you're not the beneficiary of that increase (as my main account has not been), then you're going to go backwards. I'm almost at Arbiter and I expect to get back into G1 after that, but the teams I'm fighting are not "broken".. they're just better than mine.
For me, there are two issues to be dealt with.
1. As robyburning below has said, as well as every CC out there, the Plat pool needs to be increased. That will redistribute the rest of the teams upwards from where they are.
2. The Missions/Challenges need to be re-worked so that accounts are not marooned at the S1 or G1 stage, as my FTP and Mid accounts are.
Resolve those two issues and what is left is simple team management and working an arena to get better.
Remember... You can't expect everything to be given to you! Winning at Arena is not a right, it's a challenge.
Arena hasn't changed at all for me. I used to be able to stay in Gold III or IV. Now I can barely stay in Silver.
300k-400k+ teams in g4 ? That is a thing now! And what do we compete for ? Some shit gear that ends up producing 200k silver, for i have been always selling most of it and maybe some shards and some rare books.

for long time i try to play only for upgrade the great hall, I have been stuck for a long time on missions and challenges because of the arena, now I only do the 5 games per day for energy but I take random players and I play automatically, I don't care to lose.
It's definitely gotten better for me. It doesn't match me up with over powered teams, seems like it matches me up with people I can compete with. It's more competitive not harder for me. I never see teams with 300,000/400,000 team power anymore. It's always teams between 185,000 and 250,000 team power. I'm at 209,000 team power.
They should lower the cost of upgrading the great hall, that would greatly reduce many issues stemming from Arena.
Account is 50, like 50 days played, up to 3 60's though I don't use all 3 of my 60's in arena since they are not necessarily good for arena. I'm stuck in Bronze 4 even if i barely scrape into Silver I can't get wins there to get the medals i need to move onto the next progression, and god forbid how long it's going to take to get to gold. I hope they consider just lowering the requirements for the progression awards.
I'm a newer player to the game. A little over 2 months played and I cant get out of bronze 4 even though I have decent champions for the reason of not having the right gear. I also am faced with teams I just simply cannot beat in bronze 4 that seem like they should be in silver no problem. Really wish there would be a good fix so I wasnt stuck on the arena mission for arbiter.
I definitely think I’m being attacked more. Every time I log on I’ve dropped 50 points. My wins are just maintaining my position.

I'm mostly in low/mid silver II these days. To me the last month or so it feels about the same. Maybe just a tad better than it was. I have not been improving my classic arena team during that time, so I think it's a fair observation.
Arena has been slightly better for me in the past week or so. Before the changes, I was lucky to grind out a few wins in silver one each week, last weekend, I collected about 100 wins and even made it temporarily in silver 2 a couple times.
My team reached silver 3 initially, now it can't get past bronze 4.

i'm lvl 70, so at the start of the week i fight a lot of bronze players.
arena reset on mondays happens at the same time for everyone. i can never play the game at that time. 2 weeks ago i was in silver 2 with 1406 points, lost a fight and got bumped to silver 1, with 1300 points. this week i had 1412 points and got bumped again.
the upside of this is that i get a lot more medals, last monday i used all my arena tokens for the first time in many months.

I have to agree on the tag team comments I actually can't stand doing tag team cause why would I want to fight 3 speed teams when I can fight one classic arena. I think the issue of a speed cap needs to be talked about so other stats can have a chance. I run a defence classic arena team with 3 characters over 4000 defence and I get nuked in less than 13 seconds on speed teams who have 70000 less power. I'm all 4 stat manipulation and playing the game but Having speed as the end all stat is absolutely unacceptable.

Points 1, 2, & 3 makes sense to me and I agree with you on them, but not so much 4 & 5.
One possible reason could some players' sense of entitlement or unrealistic expectations. Over the last few weeks, I've read a lot of comments from people who say things along the line of "I've been playing for X months and I can't get into Gold 4!". Obviously, from reading comment sections/REDDIT posts, you can't see how good/bad their teams are, but with the amount of events and tournaments recently, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to assume that people are concentrating on those events instead of farming food/pots/gear to improve what they have.
One thing is for sure though, unless the meta changes, the problem is only going to get worse. Luckly, a lot of people are trying to build competitive Arena teams that don't rely on going first.
As for my own experience, I have noticed a large change in the teams in the Bronze 1-3 brackets. There are no more lvl 60+ whales, but there still are a lot of baby whales with poorly geared teams that are easy pickings. There are usually only 1-3 teams in each list that I can't beat.
Before was consistently in bronze 4 now struggling to get out of bronze 3
There is just not enough room at the top causing top teams do drop down the tiers and destroying lower players progress.
I’m in Gold 1 - it seems easier when you go for opposite affinity match-ups
But, when the opposite team is faster, you don’t even get a turn. In events and tournaments it seems the match-up generator does not have a second protocol
They need to expand platinum to 4 tiers and maybe even add another level. That way everyone can move up. There’s way too many players for these spots!
Also I wish the great hall was not connected to the arena for expanding it as then I would not bother with arena at all.
I'm stuck in Arbiter misión reach gold3...I'm 7 months in low spender...but without speed lider like lisandra o Arbiter it's imposible to reach gold3,or gold4....plarium need to move down misións of progress...
I gave up on the 400 silver medals. 99% of the game is locked behind that progress challenge and I've done it already. But unless I start buying gear sets I won't have the gear to climb Arena.
Also you need to have certain champs or you can't reach high end. If you don't have crazy speed with speed boost then you won't make it far unless you pull tormin he's about the only counter to all the speed/debuff nuke team's and it's rng.
I said it and im saying it again. They need to ad more classic arena levels. Bronze, silver, gold and platinum from 1 to 5. And add another sapphire or whatever name. With 1000 players tolerance. The reason is simple. There is a lot more players than before. We need to stretch
arena fix = remove the arena cap and make it a percent and add a speed cap that varies per tier
I have a pretty solid roster of champions but I am lacking in decent speed leads and gear, I used to sit in gold 4, but now I need gold 4 for mission I'm back down in silver 4 that's how much harder it is these days.
Still battling to get out of Bronze IV and Silver I, my list averages 26 out of 40 champs are Legos, 6-8 Epic and then 6-8 Kael and Apothecary set up to quick nuke. I will never get two Great Hall to 6 and then get to Gold I to finish missions. I dont even want to think about whats in the last stage of getting an arbiter. My takeaway is that the game is being shifted to P2W and if you aren't willing to spend you should probably quit.
Think this will be the week I finally drop out of gold 4, been getting harder and harder by the week. Last week I just about held but I had to grind hard for it. Seems like a distant memory I was pushing close to plat 😡
It got slightly better for a week-ish. But at this point it's not any better if not worse. They REALLy need to just add Plat 1,2,3, and 4 levels.

Really? 3 stars in hard difficulty? Tier 3 masteries? I already have many 6 stars champs with fully upgraded masteries, I finished the Brutal level with 272 stars, and I am unable to make this 800 silver for unlocking the Great Hall. I made 301 silver in about 2-3 weeks, and I know later I have to reach Silver III/IV and the Gold levels, but I know I cant...
I suggest the following: If I have to fulfill an Arena mission between clearing Stage 7 of Godfrey’s Crossing on Hard
and earning 3 Stars on Stage 7 of Godfrey’s Crossing on Hard difficulty
, it must be the same challenging level, because now it makes me giving up playing the game because of the unreachable rewards...

Was in gold1. Still stuck in bronze4. Cant make it any further. 2 f2p accounts both lvl60 plus. Missions need to change, and great hall.
I do believe that arena is getting more difficult ive been in g4 for over a year and now i actually have to work to stay in it every week where before it was never an issue
Before the fix i was silver 4, now i'm gold3-4.
So yeah it's a lot better for me.
Idk I think an easy start would be for the arena to queue matches w team power.. i know it wouldn't be perfect but it would help. This is no reason to go against someone double your team power unless your in gold4 & up
There's a very clear obvious reason why it's harder. Too many people have arbiter so now new players cannot get to gold 4 without arbiter and therefore hit a progression wall as they cannot achieve the reach gold 4 arena mission.
It's completely broken. Until they take that mission out of the progression missions there is only a certain group of players who will be able to compete. I have gorgorab seeker apoth kymar you name it I have it. But nothing beats arbiter or lysandra and I have neither.
I was supposed to move up to gold one for 3v3 instead it put me in the red zone of silver 4.
Canadian pack prices are the same so we are getting royally screwed. Our dollar has improved and Plarium has not taken this into account.

Arena has gotten so much better with this last update.
Before the arena update i couldn't touch Silver 1, but now i can stay in Silver 1 almost reach Silver 2.
The arena fix was to remove inactive teams from the arena faster. So it's not a huge fix, but it made a difference.
Arena has not gotten better, you have just been lucky
I don't think they want to fix the issue with arena if they really wanted to fix it in the first place they shouldn't t offer speed glyph in the shop now even new players in the game or faster.
Worse for me, cannot win any match, in free fall from gold 4 currently gold 2.
Just doing(losing) my daily 5 and calling it a day
They did nothing. I believe they moved around teams to give it the appearance of change. They truly don't care. I never really believed this because why put so much money into a game making it look so good only to do absolutely nothing after it starts making a ton of money but that's what's happening.
