I was ten years old (born in '55) and lived in Latrobe, PA, on Lawson Heights. I have always remembered how a substitute teacher in our elementary schools would come in and open a briefcase and show us news paper and magazine clippings about UFOs and Roswell!
Oh my goodness! Nice to read about someone from Latrobe. My parents were both from Latrobe, lived on Washington St, my papap worked at Rolling Rock brewery, I remember him walking home from work I suppose it was payday carrying a case of Rolling Rock pony sized beer. I remember the smells from the brewery and from a lot of the Italian cheese and meat stores. I’m sure it’s changed drastically since then.....😊 good memories

In the 1970s my family and I were traveling towards Lancaster PA, on the turnpike. It was night time. Everyone in the car witnessed a ufo moving just above the treeline. There were street lights that lite that part of the sky. We all spoke about it but didn't even pull over. We continued on to Lancaster. I'm as amazed that we saw it as I am that we didn't stop to watch it
