As an Ontario transplant living in small town BC I’ve been trying for days to get my head around this unprecedented political situation. You presented the situation clearly, clearer than the politicians, and I’m grateful for that. I have a question though, can a leader of a political party unilaterally withdraw its members/candidates from an election? It was alluded to in the interview that this was all done legally, but it sure doesn’t feel like it was done democratically! It doesn’t matter your political stripes, this action should be concerning to all democratically minded Canadians.

Hey, I remember reading Vaughn Palmer when I worked as a professional career woman for 30 years in Vancouver. Born in North Vancouver in 1959 it was hard to face the early death of my son, get sick, go bankrupt, and homeless at age 58. Lives in Quebec where I can afford to live indoors without a group home of some odd variety. Imagine that!

The skytrain expansion is a bloody mess. I live in fleetwood by the rec center. Fraser hwy is a nightmare, and they've barely made a dent.
Plus, it has cost double what was budgeted, and they've done next to nothing. They're behind schedule and over budget.
The budget was 6bil. It's over 12bil at this point. I expect it's going to cost 20bil+ by they time they're done.

I as a single Mom working as a Manager at A&W was able to by a home with a suit to be a mortgage helper under Pollivier as housing minister. Under Harper I was able to share in tax splitting over our 5 children, that was fair! Under Trudeau I have LOST my life as I knew it. Like millions of Canadians, Trudeau and Sihgn have destroyed the dreams, hard work, sacrifices, relationships for THEIR OWN PROFIT!
I dont how anyone in BC can look at the state of their province and say "yea the guys in charge are doing a great job, lets keep them in power".
