    If my daughter didn’t move back to Plymouth I would be up running with you Chris, Brooklands was her home course, I’ve run it once 😀👍 cracking run mate looks like you have your mojo back

    Technical and hilly course! Beautiful terrain! Amazing that you could PB on a demanding course like that! Congratulations Chris! Keep pushing!

      It’s a fun course. It was only a course PB, hoping to run a fast flat parkrun next week

    Looks like a really interesting park run coarse, great run with the coarse Pb yepppy!!! 😀👍🌴🌿🙏🌲✌️😀

      Thanks👍 The advantaged is that gps doesn’t work on the course, so it’s all about perceived effort

      @@ThatRunningGuy yeah that’s the one, I think we can rely to much on watches & tech, most of my running is in the bush so who knows what the gps is doing haha 👍

    I’ve done that park run before, I really liked it however it was really muddy and slippery when I went. Need to go back now it’s dryer.
    Good to see you back out running mate!!

    Some of those hills looked pretty steep ⛰ Nothing like a pb when you least expect it. Great running Chris. Hope things with your daughter are improving and that you’re feeling a little more rested and recovered 😊

    Wouldn't describe this course as difficult. the only problem is at 2:53 when you're on the third lap and people are blocking the way up. My parkrun group is thinking of doing parkrun tourism so if I've recovered from my op I will do this, which will be my second run here.

    • @ThatRunningGuy
      @ThatRunningGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Brooklands is also a good one, much quicker

    • @richardwilliams1921
      @richardwilliams1921 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ThatRunningGuy did that one also. The announcer reminded us that due to noise complaints as the runners neared the neighbourhood fences no thanking the marshal so all you could hear were whispered 'thank you marshal'.

    Lovely run Chris, keep chasing the hockey guys!

    That’s a very technical-looking course. My local Parkrun is one of the hillier ones but at least it’s all on tarmac paths. The twisty roots and twisty route looks like a face-plant waiting to happen.

    • @ThatRunningGuy
      @ThatRunningGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s one of the parkruns we’re you don’t bother looking at you watch as the gps is all over the pace. Isn’t that bad as lucky have never fallen even when filming. Got to love the parkrun community

    Well done, Chris. Great result considering the past few weeks you've had. I went for the sub 20min at my Parkrun and came up 5sec short. I've been a bit under the weather the past 10 days so I'll get it next week. 🤞🤞

      Thanks Neil. I just finished watching your video. I was similar to you, thought I had covid. You’ll definitely get it next time. Really pleased with todays run as my previous pb on that course was way back in 2019. At least I’m not getting slower the older I get 😁
