A friend called me and asked for a tow, he was stuck in a mud hole with his arctic cat mud pro and his winch broke. He was an hour and a half from his truck deep into the forest. He was almost in panic mode. I was almost finished work for the day . I called another friend and we both set out to find him. Took us 2 hours to find him. I looked at his winch connections and tightened them up , winched the machine out under its own power . The look on his face was priceless ! Relief and embarrassment lol. He took us out for dinner and drinks that night . That was several year ago and of course we still poke fun at him about it. lol. Unplanned adventures are usually the most memorable and enjoyable .
I can’t wait to do this on my own property I just bought 82 acres and already my family and friends are planning on riding through the woods 😂 hopefully none of them get stuck tho but that’s the fun in any trail ride to figure stuff out and keep it going! Haha glad the rigs and everyone was alright. I went on a trip to ride my ATV once with all my friends, we loaded up a huge trailer with all of our stuff and then drove down to a state park that allows ATV’s, SXS’s, lifted trucks jeeps etc, to go riding along the unpaved state roads and lands, it was so much fun! Had a small gas station there that you can fuel up and ride out, camping spots, very cool experience. However there were some serious accidents there the time I went many people had to get air lifted out, because of roll overs, speeding, and just being wreckless, unfortunately because of that the state park got shut down but what an experience!
