Do you have to join the track team when applying to school or can you tryout any year

I am not too sure about this, it probably depends on if the school is accepting walk ons or not. Otherwise you would have to be on scholarship. There are a couple of walk-on athletes on my team, and I don’t think it matters what year they are! I’m not sure if that matters or not, but it probably depends on the school!
