Prof. Rasika Aponsu, the Secretary of the Academic Council at Java Institute for Advanced Technology, is currently a Professor of Operations Management at the IIC University of Technology, Cambodia as well as a Director of the Kandy branch of Java Institute
He is an academic with knowledge in a wide range of subject areas, which can be recognised by his qualifications, namely Ph.D. in Operations Management from Aldersgate University - Philippines, MBA from the University of Wolverhampton - UK, B.Eng. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Kingston University - UK, B.Sc. in Mgt. from the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, LL.B (Hons) from Buckinghamshire New University - UK and a Graduateship in Rubber Technology from the Plastics and Rubber Institute of Sri Lanka. He is also a Postdoctoral Scholar in Japan.
