  • This is a summary of my entire tricking journey. I have recorded almost all my achievements and posted them on this channel through the years. Every single entry here deserved it's place in this video either a) because it represent my style well at that specific point of time or b) because I was really proud of the combo when I did it.
    200+ different tricking tricks:
    First 100 • 100 TRICKING TRICKS
    Second 100+ • 100 MORE TRICKING TRICKS
    My tricking tutorials:
    • DOUBLE LEG VARIATION -...
    Songs:
    Pokémon Anime Sound Collection - Total War
    Death Note - L's Theme (Sabri Emini Remix)
    Super Mario Galaxy - Space Junk Galaxy (Remix) by Video Game Remixes
    The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker: Dragon Roost Island Remix by GltchxCity
    Attack On Titan Vogel Im Kafig Hip Hop Remix prod.by Hansult

    My priorities in tricking:
    Clean style, versatility, safety, enjoyment.
    What I'm aiming to do:
    Create educational content, make tricking accessible to everyone, and inspire.

    The clips that are on this video deserve their place to be here either A) because they represent my tricking style at that specific point of time or B) because I was really proud of the combo at the moment I did it.
    Through my journey I have had to adjust my tricking style according to the situation. My list of injuries is huge:
    1. Knee hyper-extension (in 2011 and 2014)
    2. Ankle injuries (left in 2013, right in 2017)
    3. Hamstring injuries (2013)
    4. Nerve injury in my shoulder (2013 and 2017)
    5. Hip-flexor injury in total 3 times (2013, 2015, 2016)
    6. Heel injury (2014)
    7. Shin splints for 1 year straight (2014)
    8. Torn ACL (2016) and torn meniscus (2016 and 2019)
    9. Ball of foot injury (2018-2019)
    Still, I have never given up on being a tricker. Instead I have made adjustments in my training style and kept going. I just love tricking too much!

      @Dragon Seeker You mean why I chose it over tumbling flips? I just found it way more interesting and cooler than double flips. Trickers like Micah Karns, Anis and Jeremy Marinas were the reason. I really looked up to their styles.

    After so many years of training and injuries, would you do anything different, i mean would you train different way to avoid all the injuries, or do you think that its almost impossible to reach god level without fking up your joints? Personally i have trained tricking in the past, too got many injuries, now i see that it could have avoided injuries if i have trained more basic tricks first, before attempting something crazy, but anyways i was never even as close as to your level. But anyways i got some injuries, but i dont regret it yet, i had such a good time tricking, bassically best time of my life.

    • @johzuke1
      @johzuke1  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes mastering the basics is best way to train healthy. Often injuries come when pushing for something too hard. Something you are not ready for. But it can also happen just by accident. I have had plenty of those too. People are different. Some people have really strong joints and good reflexes so they always react well when something goes wrong. Some don't have it so good and injuries are more likely.

    • @bamf6603
      @bamf6603 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yeah i was affraid of those accident all the time, always made sure that the ground is always clear and empty and not slippery where i tricked, and there was no ppl around who could interupt me. @@johzuke1

    • @johzuke1
      @johzuke1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I assume you have no background in any acrobatics/kick-based martial arts. If you are not learning it, you are probably not using the right training methods. It shouldn't be a hard move to learn if you know what you should be doing and put in the effort. Watch some more tutorials on it and try again.

    • @Difkaroch
      @Difkaroch 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johzuke1 I watched over 50 tutorials about the B-Kick, I know what I'm doing wrong but I still can't get it (I'm not kicking the leg high enough and I can't straight it). And yes, I don't have any trainer or gymnastics center, but, I train in capoeira and for my big luck one of the athletes said that he will teach me how to do a Raiz, I assume that if I can do a Raiz then I can do a Sideswipe and then a D-leg and then a Crowd Awaker, 540, 720, 900, jackknife, 900 hyper, TD Raiz. But i think that a Sideswipe for me is enough. What do you think about my progression (from Raiz to 900 hyper)?

    • @johzuke1
      @johzuke1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That order is kinda weird. Have you seen my 60 tricking basics from easiest to hardest? That order might help you 🤷‍♂️

    • @Difkaroch
      @Difkaroch 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johzuke1 yes I wached it (so clean and smooth). And I don't really think that this order is weird because:
      Raiz is basically a tornado kick with the chest "looking" up and all the body is in a straight line in the air (kinda like a bridge in the air with a kick). Now, if you can do a Raiz then you can do a Sideswipe, now what is the Sideswipe? The Sideswipe is basically a 540 kick with the same elements with the Raiz (chest looking up). Now for the set-up, the Raiz set-up is more harder and needs more energy than the tornado set-up and that means that if you will take the energy in the Raiz set-up and use it on the tornado kick set-up, you will have a lot more chances to progress to the 720, it is more easier than just turning a tornado kick into a 540, then 540 to 720 and the same with the other kicks.
      It was my opinion, I just tried to think logically, what do you think about it?
      Sorry for writing too much

    • @johzuke1
      @johzuke1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      In my opinion the order should be tornado, cheat 720 with no knee pump, 540 Kick, cheat 720 with knee pump (basically kicking the 540 with just your knee, raiz, sideswipe, jacknife, swipeknife. Raiz is kina hard to get good at in the beginning. Cheat 720 without knee pump is very easy to learn. 540 is also quite easy if you just have a good tornado. Raiz has a different takeoff than the vertical cheat kicks which makes it a bit more complicated to understand.
      It took me many years to master the raiz. 540 and cheat 720 took me a couple months to get quite good at. We are all different but I know that there are trickers with 10+ years of experience who still can't raiz properly.
