I don't think this is lip-sync. There are a number of places where Andrea's vocal differs from the studio version. For instance: at 1:25 here, she sings "Too late", whereas on the studio version she sings "It's too late". At 1:58 here, she sings "I think you're gonna be just fine", whereas on the studio version she sings "You gonna be just fine". At 2:14 here she sings "Don't worry baby", whereas on the studio version she sings "So don't worry baby". At 3:15 here, the way she sings "just fine" differs from the studio version. So I think this is a live vocal -- which is pretty impressive, because she sounds as good as she does on the studio recording. Clearly some of the instrumentation is on a backing track, as there are a number of keyboard parts that no one appears to be playing. But at least some of it is live as well; Caroline's snare drum, for instance, sounds noticeably different from the studio version.
@@boxingmonthly The echos on the vocals are probably on the backing track, along with extra backing vocals and additional instruments such as the piano at 1:21.
What exactly is their "American period?" Did they have a "French" period when they toured there? What evidence do you have she is lip synching? Frankly hard to tell. They use backing tracks (especially keyboards and background vocals). My guess is it is more likely that Andrea sing live.. Of course this is a TV show performance ......
