No sorry. They need slack but too much. If u are worried about it it is a standard size chain u can look up to see what the acceptable slack or play is for that size Chain

Your style might be remove the wheel and the hub unbolts from the frame/body. No cap like a car or truck hug.
OR if your style is like mine, raise the cab, remove inspection plate for the chains, that leads to nut holding the whole axle shaft on.

K1022403 or tc 95 115 13 . Only $ 4.65 from bobcat they explained it's so cheap because they are getting rid of old inventory.
