Khao Nang Buat Temple was established around the year 1836. The first chapel received the Royal Wisungkham Sema on October 21, 1896 with a width of 7 wa and a length of 9 wa and the present chapel. Received the Royal Wisungkham Sema on January 31, 1962, with a width of 28 meters and a length of 40 meters. Administration and governance of Khao Nang Buat Temple There is an abbot who presides over the administration and governance of monks and novices. As far as the names are known, they are: 1. Luang Pho Yai Ta Opaso, 1878 - 1932, 2. Phrakhru Wibul Khemakit (Chantha Khema), 1933 - 1969, 3. Phrakhru Sun (Son) Chantakho. 1969 - 1987 4. Phra Athikan Samrit Achito 1990 - 2005 5. Phrakhru Banphot Silapirom (Ekachai Achito) 2006 - present Khao Nangbuat Name There is a history told over and over that there was a young woman named Mrs. Orapim has separated from her husband and they are searching for each other. There was no sign that they would meet at all. As for Mrs. Orapim, she set her sights on continuing her search for her husband without any destination. She walked and came across a mountain. She climbed to the top and saw that there was a temple. She went to look and found that There are many Buddha statues there. So she paid her respects and came outside to find a suitable place to sit. She thought to herself. As women, wherever we go is not safe. Mrs. Orapim decided to get up and enter the temple again. Sit down in front of the Buddha image and pay your respects and make a wish to the Buddha image: I ask for my power that I have accumulated. Please help change me into a man. At that time, Mrs. Oraphim became a man of the gender as she wished. When your wish is fulfilled Mrs. Oraphim wishes to be ordained. He searched for the robes and when he got them he brought them to ask for ordination from the Sangharaja at the top of the mountain in that temple. Once ordained, The monk Oraphim studied the teachings of his grandmother, paid homage to the Buddha, and practiced samatha and vipassana meditation. according to the vision of the next monk The times have passed. The Patriarch, the preceptor of the monk Orapim, has passed away. Bhikkhu Oraphim was therefore given the position of Phra Sangharaja instead. When Thao Pajit, her husband, passed by the mountain where the monk Oraphim had been ordained. But he did not know that the monk he saw was his wife Oraphim. Thao Pajit also asked the said monk: “Venerable sir, have you seen Mrs. Orapim, my wife, passing this way?” As for the monk Orapim, he did not answer Thao Pajit's question, but replied, “Why do you remember to think about suffering and sorrow? Please come and be ordained and study with me.” Since his ordination, Thao Pajit always thought only of Oraphim alone. Monk Onphim saw this. Just cover the robe and enter the temple. Pay homage to the Buddha and bid farewell to becoming a layperson. Then pray to return to being a woman as before. Then he came out of the temple. Monk Pajitt saw that it was his wife. So they entered the temple and presented themselves as laypeople one after the other.
