So how can i release memory from my iPhone after i backed up my pictures on iCloud? it looks that if i delete the pictures from my iPhone they got deleted from iCloud. what is the reason buying this i-memory if at the end my iPhone is telling me not enough memory, and than i need to delete my pictures, and than they got deleted from iCloud?

Why is it that my documents folder is in my iCloud section in finder but the contents are still taking up space on my hard drive and not on the cloud??
I’m looking for a cloud to back up all our documents and photos, but also with a sharing option where I can share photos of my kids, but not let them share or edit the photos. That way we can control the area of sharing. What is sharing like with iCloud?
Also, I have iOS, my husband is droid, and both our computers are PCs, would this still be a good options for us, in your opinion?

the iPhoto is a pain because you cannot pick and choose what you want to have in iCloud--it is an all or nothing. You might want to remove photos from your phone because you have run out of space but voila--the photos in iPhoto also go? iPhoto should work like a master album but it doesn't operate the way I want it to.

iCloud is all right, my big issue is when I clean out my Mac's HD and send all of my photos to iCloud, they find their way back to my Mac's drive. As I have 4 external drives hooked up to my Mac for storage in addition to Dropbox and Google Drive, I like to keep my internal drives as "clean" as possible. The fact that I have little control as to what is sitting in my drive because of this "flaw" I have since stopped using iCloud save for when I am using Lightroom Mobile via my iPad Pro.
I hate this synch with the icloud on all devices. Sounds good when you say it, but its a nightmare for me. With that being said, I am extremely low tech savy I have a Mac, and Iphone6 and it synched all my devices to the cloud with the over 15,000 pictures I have taken over the past 8 years. Now, I am out of space on my phone, yet have gobs of space on the icloud. I DO NOT want all 15,000 pics on my phone, however, if I delete them off the phone, it deletes them off my Mac and my Cloud and have none of them. Grrrr. Why does this not allow me to simply delete them off of the phone? Can I export them to an external hard drive and then dump the cloud, the pics on Mac, and the pics on my phone after they are safely on my external hard drive. This is a stupid design flaw by Apple, and I am disgusted about it. Please help.

How do I get photos off my iPhone so that I can view them on my Mac laptop? I've got a few hundred photos, and I don't want to send each one as an e-mail attachment to myself, it'll take forever. This tutorial just shows how to put photos from your computer into the iCloud drive but it doesn't say how to get photos from your iPhone into the iCloud so that you can view them on your laptop. I tried uploading the photos to the iCloud drive from my iPhone, which it did, but then when I go to the laptop, I don't see them. Any suggestions?

I have a question how does an iCloud account that belonged to me that I had on an IPhone 6 that I had a contract in my name from AT&T that I broke with a hammer after it crashed my computer when I hooked it up to iTunes then I had a friend of mine throw it in the lake and I also tore up the SD cards , I didn't have that iCloud account on any other phone. But when I logged into my account a few months ago to change my password it said I had the iCloud on an IPhone 6 from a Verizon wireless telephone number that I do not have anymore. And that phone number that I don't have anymore had an iPhone 4 on it. I actually had a police report filled for that iPhone 4 because it was stolen out of my car.

What happens if you would delete your civil war document in your download folder or wherever you uploaded the original from? I mean will the document still be in iCloud Drive after I uploaded it from my MacBook but delete it after? Sorry for my broken English. I bought the 2tb plan and now I want to use it on my MacBook too but I’m scared I will delete data and iCloud will do the same. I just use it for my iPhone and iPad and Apple TV. My MacBook still is not really used with iCloud but my MacBook storage gets fuller and fuller cause I import my photos to the photos app via cable and I don’t want to lose the live feature. That happens if I upload them on other services like google drive. It’s not a live picture then anymore same happens when I export them to a hard drive. Apple forces me to upload them via iCloud in the photos app to get them like i shot them and I’m just scared of this way to safe them for my grandchildren one day idk how to collect all these videos and now live pictures for a long time. 2tb will not last forever... please help me someone 😔

I am stuck, and I need help. Here is the message I am getting while trying to access photo attachments in my icloud email account: Photos can't be opened using the built-in Administrator account. Sign in with different account and try again.
I am the only user of my PC which I have a password for every time I want to use it, then after some automatic software update I started getting the message above.
