    Filipinos deserves better transportation system, nakakaumay na yung ganitong problema ng commuters. Ang ganda ng plano nila on paper, pero sana mas mapabilis at maganda talaga yung projects :(

      mawalang galang na po pero kahit na sandamukal na public transportation pa po ang ilagay sa NCR kung patuloy ang paglaki ng population dahil sa mga dumadayo para sa trabaho at illegal settlers, wala rin pong silbe yan. need po talaga mag depopulate.

      @@derang2704 Mahirap yan gusto mo. Lahat ng bansa gusto din ng 2nd Capital para ma dicongest ang mga Main Capital nila pero wala padin ang nagiging successful dito. Japan man o South Korea, nag sayang lang sila ng Bilyon ng Bilyon na dollar para lang sa wala. Sayang mga buildings at land projects, wala naman nag move o gumagamit.

      Problema talaga ay yun mga permits. Since yun daanan ng mga tren at railways ay owned privately, nagkaka problema ang Government sa pag bili ng land neto, maslalo na pag yun owner ay di willing mag cooperate sa Government.

    Kulang kasi ang mga rail transit sa metro manila sa ibang bansa sala-salabat ang rail transit line system nila doon dito mga cable wire lang ng kuryente ang sala-salabat 😌

      Alisin na dapat yang provincial rate para hindi magsiksikan sa manila. Overpopulation na rin kasi kaya ang daming problema sa NCR like traffic, pollution, crimes and etc.

    Kahit na gawin nilang 10 lanes ang commonwealth kung hindi nababawasan ang bilang ng sasakyan wala din effect

    Main factors: 1. Road condition (di uniform ang lapad ng kalsada, 6 lanes tapos sisikip magiging 4 lanes na lang so nagsisiksikan ,bottleneck ang resulta mabagal na takbo ng sasakyan/ kulang sa parking ang karamihan sa establishment kaya sa kalsada nagpapark/ mga sidewalk vendors na dahilan ng pagdaan ng tao sa kalsada at pagbagal ng takbo ng mga sasakyan/ U-turn slot dapat dedicated, ang design dapat sa U-turn slot lumalapad ang kalsada para ma-maintain yung mga lanes na paderecho. 2. Lack of service roads para di nakikigamit ang mga bike, tricycle, jeep sa mga main thoroughfares. 3. Poor traffic rules & regulations, road marks & signs are confusing, maraming trap para pagkaperahan ng mga tiwaling enforcer/pulis/ pag may banggaan ang tagal alisin naghihintay pa ng pulis old school pa rin ang pag process 4. Baha at depektibong kalsada, di masolusyong problema sa baha at walang katapusan road repairs na sub-standard naman 5. Disiplina ng lahat.

      wala talagang matinong plano sa kalsada, hindi gaya ng makikita natin sa ibang bansa lalo sa developed countries. Dito sa Korea kahit 2 lanes na kalsada pag dating sa intersection magiging tatlo o apat para maiwasan ang pagbagal ng traffic. dyan sa Pinas makikita mo gaano kahina kokote mga gumawa ng kalsada maliban nalang sa mga privately develop na lugar.

    Dagdag ng dagdag ng mga private vehicles bago kaya halos lahat na ata ng version ng mga sasakyan na pinapasok dito kaya hindi mamamatay matay ang traffic. Halos truck na itsura ng sasakyan pero isa lang ang sakay.

    1. Noj implementation of proper regulation Basta may pambili pede kahit ilan, regardless kung may parking or wala, kahit 30k sahod kaya kuha auto
    2. Lack of Road planning of each city , Mga Kalsada na parang di pinag isipan nung gumawa. Liit liit lalaki, lalo na sa connecting roads from main to inner, at kung taga metroM ka alam mo na kung saan mga yan
    3. Decipline comes last, domino effect nlng yan ng first two reasons. Pag nauumpisa mag trapik mangangamote na, lalong lumalala.

    Mabagal ang daloy ng mga sasakyan kasi Drivers dont drive in the lane instead they drive in any space available. Drivers change lane often inorder to get any space open. So mabagal ang takbo at daloy ng mga sasakyan. People who travelled to USA, said Americans drive at high speed. Thats because they drive inside the lane . What that means is more cars are accomodated .

      i own a car but honestly i use the public transpo instead of using my car and get stuck in a traffic plus parking is another problem in manila aside from one way roads in different cities in manila, i only use my car in cavite where i live and that again depends if the place i will go to has a parking

      Mas lugi si kuya sa oras. I used to work sa MOA from Makati 2hours ang allocation ko balikan and mas nakakapagod tlga ung byahe plus lugi nga sa pamasahe. Ang daming call centers around QC, kahit sa Bulacan or Pampanga. Unless malaki tlga sahod nya jan.

    Bakit hindi mawala wala ang traffic sa Pilipinas?
    Kasi po presidential unitary system tayo. Dapat federal parliamentary system para kalat ang opportunity sa buong bansa. Para hindi naka sentro lang sa capital o sa national government ang funds. Para mas pantay pantay ang mga probinsya. Pass federal parliamentary system na kasi. Tapos nandiyaan si parliamentary system para mag bantay sa mga local government officials na aabuso sa federalism. Tapos amyendahan na ang 1987 constitution. Tanggalin ang restrictions sa foreign direct investors o 60/40 para magdatingan ang mga foreign investors sa Pilipinas.

Wala na, di na mapapaganda yan dahil siksikan na nga mga establishments at hindi na kaya mag road widening sa metro manila. Marami ka matatamaan jan. Kasi dapat nung una pa lang bago tinayo mga train stations inuna muna ang malawakang road expansion panahong 90's. Kaso wala, mas na excite gobyerno magpasiklab ng mga projects na mas efficient kuno. Hirap tuloy yung future generation.

    I lived in Paranaque City, Metro Manila for the first 20+ years of my life. I can tell you it's not the same as it was before the COVID-19 pandemic. It just became worse after COVID-19. By 2023, I decided to transfer my residence to Cavite because I WAS NOT satisfied with the overpopulation, cost of living, urban planning situation, rising poverty rates, rise of buildings, corruption, and of course the HEAVY TRAFFIC in the National Capital Region. It's embarrassing and exhausting in my 20s post-senior high school to live in a city where so many opportunities are available, yet the situation factors I mentioned above are awful and it makes your living extremely difficult. I did not regret staying here in the province. We hope for a better future and that includes proper, effective, long-lasting transportation system around Greater Manila. We need more accessible rails and other public transport for the people besides ongoing infrastructure.

    Dala na ako sa siksikan sa traffic, dalawang taon ko tyinaga ang magtrabaho sa manila tapos uwian ako pa-Cavite. Never again!
    Simula nakahanap ako ng trabaho rito malapit sa bahay, 'di ko na pinoproblema ang pumila, makipagbalyahan, siksikan at lumuha dahil sa sobrang traffic. Kahit magising ako ng 7:30 tapos alas otso pasok ko e hindi pa ako late, makakapag-almusal pa ako sa labas. Hindi man katulad ng sahod kagaya sa Kamaynilaan, putcha mas hawak ko oras ko ngayon. Ang dami kong nagagawang mga bagay na noo'y hindi ko magawa-gawa, kasi hindi ko na problema ang byahe at pamasahe. Nakakauwi pa ako sa tanghali para mananghalian. Iba talaga epekto kapag sa mas malapit nagtatrabaho ang Juan. Sana sa ibang probinsya, dumami rin ang mga trabaho upang hindi na kailangan makipagsapalaran ng mga ordinaryong Pinoy na kagaya ko sa walang kapararakang byahe.

    Sad! Pero ito yung na miss ko ng lumipat at nag migrate na ako sa ibang bansa Tulakan, tayuan, siksikan at pag minalas madukutan ka pa. I was in college at sa Imus cavite kami nakatira then pumapasok ako sa Mendiola pa halos isalya ka ng ka agawan mo sa bus or dyip na gusto makasakay na kagaya mo. Kaya i decided na mag boarding house just right next to my school. Dito where i am at now i have my own car, I drive derecho sa house garage ng bahay ko. hindi kagaya sa Pilipinas madaming hindi disiplinado na driver, karumal dumal na mga aksidenta sa kalsada dahil hindi marunong mag maneho mga tao pero may licensed, aggressive drivers na ayaw mag bigayan, talamak din yung mga nagmo motor ngayon sa Pilipinas and I think it contributed to the traffic specially in metro manila.

    new roads promotes new cars. parking buildings promotes new cars. Government should prioritize public transport system, new train routes, proper jeep and bus terminals.

    Causes of traffic:
    1. Volume of cars
    2. Illegal parking
    3. Kulang sa enforcement ng traffic rules
    4. Entitled commuters, meaning yung mga nagbababa talaga malapit sa kanila imbes sa designated terminal
    5. Pasaway na PUV drivers
    6. Poor urban planning similar to 4, malayo ang terminals if I am not mistaken

    I live in Dubai. All I can say is that traffic is everywhere, even here. Mind you 24 lanes na ang highway dito, and napakaganda ng quality ng road, maskonte din tao dito kaysa sa atin. Main reason is the lack of public transportation and poor urban planning.
    A single car mostly accomodate 1-3 passengers while a bus can accomodate 20 or more.
    Kahit pa 12 lanes ang kalsada mag tatraffic yan. Sa USA, palapad ng palapad ang kalsada pero lalo lang lumalala kasi halos kahat nakasasakyan. Sa sobrang dami ng tao sa Manila, kelangan ng sobrang lawak ng Metro at LRT natin. Di sapat ang Jeep at bus sa kalsada.

    Kng ako nga I am living in Paranaque and working in Makati. 9am pasok ko, Pero umaalis ako 6am ng umaga para d maiipit sa trapik. Sa offce k na lang tinutuloy ung konting tulog ko. Pag uwi naman 7:30pm alis ng office 10am dating sa ofc. Alam mo ung sa bahay at office na lang umiikot ang mundo. Sunrise to sundown nasa work.

    There needs to be better and more efficient public transportation, as well as additional transportation alternatives beyond cars, trains, and buses. For example, protected bike lanes, similar to those in the Netherlands, could encourage more people to use bikes as a regular mode of transportation rather than just for sport or leisure. This could help reduce car traffic by getting more people off the roads and onto bikes.

    Main factors:
    1. Job opportunities nasa metro Manila karamihan.
    2.Yung sahod sa metro and karatig bayan malayo ang difference. Kaya yung mga taga laguna, cavite, rizal, bulacan mas nanaisin ng mag ayhe pametro manila dahil sa difference ng sahod.
    3. Insufficient quality public transpo plus napipilitan bumili ng motor o sasakyan ang mga emplyado.
    Recommendation:
    1. Decongest metro manila by focusing road projects sa ibang provinces.
    2. Gawin standard ang sahod sa mga companies na kaya naman magbigay niyo like sikat na mga fastfood and restaurants, gas stations, malls (lahat naman ito pareparehas lang ang presyo nila at the same time yung bilang ng cutomer same lang kapag titignan).
    3. Continue nuilding projects and improvement.

    private interest should yield always to public interest----mas nakakarami ang makikinabang sa proyekto kaya dapat gamitin ang kapangyarihan ng pamahlaan para ma resolba ang mga issue sa road right of way, etc...Local government units should support projects of National Government and always prioritize the welfare of the people
