I can’t believe how successful Pokémon is and that it’s still producing cards and new people are playing it even now! I played it for a short while back in school which was about 20 years ago, I’m 34 now. But i haven’t touched a card since, I never quite understood how to play it but I look forward to watching this and maybe learning something new.
Collected the cards for a few years in the early 00s but I never learned to play. I just liked the pictures and collecting my favorites. I’ve always wanted to learn.
I did that with Rage cards. They were so awesome to look at and collect but the rule book was literally a dictionary thick novel! No thank you! I just liked looking at the cool pics. lol.
Wow, now my favorite ASMR TH-camr is giving lessons about the Pokèmon TCG?? Sign me up!😂❤ (edit: honestly I am a collector BUT I still play the TCG online time to time of that counts lol 😂)

Not me knowing good and well how to play this game and playing it semi-competitively since 1999 still about to watch all 1.5 hours of this.
I know I'm a bit late to ask but do you still have your deck from 1999? and if so what pokemon is it built around?
@Ollie_989 I remember people using Electabuzz, Hitmonchan, Mewtwo, Scyther being in most decks and some rogue decks focused around Lickitung or Mr.Mime. Muk was useful too, being able to shut down Pokémon Powers.
Favorite archetype was the 09 arceus box

I just began collecting the cards again, after so long, and I finally understand how to play. The TCG Live has helped me, especially being introduced to it in one of your recent videos, to learn, and I'm getting hooked on playing the game.
