Thanks for memories Rusty. Few years ago me, girlfriend and my dog camped east side BB NP at Rio Grande camp ground. Next morning we drove back country 50 something miles river road to west side of park. Plan to camp Cottonwood. By time we got back to pavement we had sweated, felt filthy and energy drained. Almost same time she and I agreed to drive all way back to Alpine for cheap motel with air conditioning and shower. Me a cold 12 pack beer next to the bath tub. Good times.
Thanks for all your great videos, Rusty! We appreciate your efforts in taking us along with you on your many adventures! Cancel the Casita. Your diamond has been polished to the max already (in my humble opinion)!
That is some harsh country. I would have never guessed that TX had anything like this for land. I thought it was different. I don't know why, just did. Thanks for the drive
Thanx Rusty..used to go there ( you need to go b4 May 25 or it's just too hot) you brought back marvelous memories of the Rio & beautiful sunsets & Margaritas in the shade with family & friends/RustyUrock ! Thanx
The small cemetery located along the downhill slope of the Terlingua Ghost Town may be one of the most photographed cemeteries in Texas: texasmountaintrail.com/plan-your-adventure/historic-sites-and-cities/sites/terlingua-cemetery
I would guess that the Border Patrol people are keeping a pretty close eye on this highway. As far as finding yourself; No matter where you go- -there you are.
Welcome, to all new Subs and Rusty's Rangers. Let's go for a drive with episode 300 with the Honorable, Grandmaster, Legendary, World Renowned Drive Time with the man, the myth, the legend the one the only your "Man from Central Texas" where the word of the day is "TERLINGUA GHOST TOWN" Private 1st Class of all Rusty's Rangers 👍😊☕️
I realize you made a video but you spent a lot of time and effort (gas) just for a pizza. Your monologue speaks of a large reservoir of knowledge of the area. Your audience is probably (my opinion) looking for less severe scenarios for possible futures. Faint of heart I’m not. 70 years old I am. Where should I look.
U not fooling me this time not looking it probably has nothing to do with a ghostown..... I know because thats what u wanna do well im not looking because thats what i wanna do i learn from the best lol
One of my favorite videos that you have done. Thank you Sir for the tour! Yup! Used your Amazon link again today!

Your camera stabilization is working good on that rough road. Great video Rusty.
I want to go here so much!
Thanks for the tour of the Terlingua area Rusty. I'm heading down this fall to find a new wintering place. Arizona has got too crowded for me.

The RV park actually has water and power? Amazing. Hard to believe there's as much there as there is.
@Chad Inc. You don't have to be so mean to poor Pamela. It is in the midfle of a desert, so she has a point.
A small 5000btu AC will run off of couple 100 watt panels but not at nite. windpower is nice.
Very cool

If it wasn't for the 100+ temps, that would be one of most perfect places on earth. For me, anyway.
Rusty's conservatism surfaces...
