At 37:00, what's the reason you use alpha lock rather than creating a new layer and using a clipping mask? I've seen you do that before as well and I'm curious about the (dis)advantages to each approach!

I can't thank u enough genevieve! This is my 2nd procreate piece I made. 1st one was just a simplest cartoon drawing, with black outline and everthing. So basically this is my 1st ever masterpiece. Lol. And I am so happy for myself. Haha. Thanks a lot, thumbs up and subscribed too. ❤
my little flame isn't as round and soft as yours but I gave it a cute winky face. I also did drawing assist when it came to things that were symmetrical. I think big brush would be cool to have

So, when I color, and when you color, there is a big difference :) :) In yours, the colors blend softly and beautifully when they come together, but mine don't blend unless I use smudge. Is that because of some setting I need to adjust on my sketching brush?
