- Hey legends, this was the first dumpster diving adventure of the year for me. Going through the skips of a new build development looking for treasure. I’ll grab anything I can make a buck on from scrap metals to building materials and resale items!
I hope you are all safe and enjoying 2025 so far, thanks for watching!

@@Firejoker54 Thanks for watching and commenting! 👍
No bad!!👍👍👍
Well Happy New Year to you also. Good little haul 🙂.
@@MommaOG thanks, yeah it was great to be out searching for treasure again! 👍
Really appreciate your videos. I have some areas around me just like where you hunt, but in Australia they keep everything behind security fencing
@@fallscreekflips8959 Thanks mate, yeah it used to be 50-60% skips behind fences here, then the sections got smaller and smaller so now they mostly live out on the grass verge. The next town over has them all hidden behind security fencing, which is no fun!
I was a Qualified CNC (Scheer) machinist when i was 20/21 and I'd cut up kick boards,Stanley shelving and kitch cupboards for Wickes, B&Q in Huddersfield when younger. I enjoyed doing that job as it paid very well, was a mile from home but went bust. Enough about me as im Rambling now. Oh yes, $3 MILLION SMACKERS??? Oof, a tad bit over my price range! 😂
So do u strip all that wire u get to make it bare bright copper
@@bigcountryscrapper6885 Yeah mate, I strip most of it to what they call “refinery” which is shiny high grade copper wire, or bare bright. I’ve even started stripping extension cords as I find a bunch of them, that wire is no2 grade as it’s a lot finer, apparently a percentage of the finer wire is lost in the refining process. I do a scrap yard run every year or so.
That 9/12mm plywood is a great find. I'd imagine it probably costs about $60/$100 minimum per 8×4 sheet of that. It all adds up.
Could be 18mm mind you. I can't gauge what it is.
They still have Woolies (Woolworths as you know) in Australia. Do they have it in NZ too?
What do you do with the tid bits of copper and Brass? Do you have buckets to weigh them in when you have enough? Cheers pal.
So not done......... lol. Put the videos out when you get sorted mate, you have the right idea. It's a pain in the arse but try doing other Social networks if you can. Short clips to push exposure. I'm rooting for you massively and you will get there.
Right thats me done. Have got any X/twitter accounts? I'll share on what i have. Keep your Chin up matey!
