I steam cook some of our meals. Our favorite steam cooked meal is cut potatoes, cut up smoked Polish sausage, green beans, chopped onions, add in some garlic. It also tastes good with cut carrots. I steam cook it until the vegetables are tender. I love steam cooked vegetables as well. I put the potatoes and carrots at the bottom and the other ingredients above it so the flavors of the meat come into the vegetables. A neat idea that a friend shared with me was that she saved a five dollar bill each week she was married and showed her husband prior to their 25th anniversary. They used that money to celebrate their 25th anniversary in Hawaii. For Christmas before they traveled that year they agreed to only do stockings only. It might take more than a $5 bill a week now but it was difficult when she did this many years ago. They traveled more than 20 years ago.

On air fryer you can cook so much in it. Save heat in kitchen. Your steamer will probably do rice also mine does. You will love it. Crockpot cooking is the best when life is busy. Congrats again !!!!! The air fryer will definitely come in handy. I always air fry my pizza rolls and my other favorite to air fry is if i make tomato soup and grilled cheese if the grilled cheese gets soggy throw it in the air fryer!

I have a few things to say, but I am afraid that someone might 'attack' me online.
That being said, I want to say, I didn't realize u were getting married so soon after your engagement but I am so thrilled tht u did not have a long engagement as for people who are religious, no matter what religion, a long engagement can cause some problems.
In your wedding video of yours and Phillips Fam, I was really glad to see how modest Hallie's dress was, the entire venue and the way u both appreciate what your wedding gifts thst u received thus far. Your showing of appreciation will only help u as a married young couple grow into even more mature people than u already are.
Tip: please make a list of all the gifts u have received and send out thank you notes/cards/emails for any person/family that went out of their way to think of what u may enjoy/need/want - put in personal thought into it. Thoughts/feelings/emotions lead to gratitude to people and to the One Above.
Question: in the LDS Temple, since u are not allowed to show people what it is like inside, whether church meeting/baptism/wedding, is there a way that u two can explain to us who are not LDS about WHT and how your experience was in the Temple?

We appreciate your comment!!:) We did have a short engagement, but we had been planning it for a while longer, but I agree we were just ready for this new step in our life to grow together so we took a leap of faith and made it happen!
I wanted to stay true to myself, which is why I went with the more modest dress- it was just what I was most comfortable in and that’s what’s important! I think all of the other styles are beautiful as well, but we should all do what makes us feel best- whatever style it is!❤

So in the temple, the things that happen are very sacred which is why we don’t share all of the details- it’s not necessarily a “secret”, but it’s very special and sacred so we keep certain things inside of there. The ceremony itself was shared with our closest family and friends who spiritually prepared to enter our Lord’s house, because it is a very holy place for us to be in. We were legally married and sealed together for forever inside! We believe that this marriage will last even past death, so this is where we made very important promises to each other and to God.

In very religious Judaism, which there are many groups, the synagogue has a lot of meaning, but not like The Temple by LDS.
With religious Jews (which I believe in The One Above, I don't follow all the many various observances as I once did. Some of the observances became too difficult for me to keep to as I once did.

@@bradenandhailee Egg roll in a bowl? Brown ground beef, 1-1.5 lbs., add one bag raw coleslaw or broccoli slaw. Then I add G.Hughes sugar free orange-ginger marinade sauce, quite a bit! But there are lots of options for sauce, and lots of on-line recipes. Easy and full of veggies!
Maybe one day each of you could learn to cook one of the others favorite meals your moms make
