Hell yeah, you've been putting in that work! I see you on your insta. Amazing father, amazing husband to your wife and a hard ass worker. You have all my respect!
Hey I saw your bag when you rode past me at 47th ST, which is how I found your channel I’m immediately searched ur yt and commented on this video ASAP when I saw you haha.
Reminds me a lot of when i tried UberEats bicycle deliveries in Boston...the GPS directions were often vague & confusing but i wound up losing my fear of riding my bike just about anywhere after that experience over Thanksgiving weekend of last year 👍
Glad I don't deliver in a big downtown area like that. Would have me all turned around. Not a bad night though! Well done on completing the course as well. I learned a lot from doing the MSF class when I started riding. Hyped for the Super Cub.
The tall buildings make it even more challenging. I've done Uber Eats in Downtown Chicago a few times. Gps also goes crazy sometimes it just spins in circles. That plus it tends to take me to the underground streets of Downtown Chicago. Quite annoying when the delivery isnt for the basement levels or the back door of the buildings
This takes me back when I was fedex delivery driver working in downtown Chicago man literally It drove me crazy luckily I survived. It was easy driving but delivery’s finding address in the dark with getting pressure from cars from the back not lying again it drove me crazy I can’t describe how chaotic it was
Dude I've seen you before! I live in River North and I also do doordash/uber on the side. You have a sick freaking bike man. If I see you again I'll say hi.
Yo he escuchado que a los que trabajan en moto les va mejor, tanto en ordenes como en pago ya que recorren un distancia un poco mas larga, deberias intentar hacer entregas en tu moto
@@EddieBenitez3 back when I first started driving a truck there wasn't even cell phones or gps systems. You hope that who ever gave you the direction to where you were going was spot on or you could find yourself in a heap of trouble lol
Please don't answer this one on the go :) It is very intriguing actually, I am thinking of doing some weekend delivery, although not in the US, so I guess it is much different. 68 USD, for how many hours do you get this?
Eddie, I told you that GPS will screw you up. But you been out here for a while. It's funny, I see most dude two or three times a day, and I never run into you
How's that bro, greetings, I liked your video, a question, what is the name of the accessory that you carry on your arm to carry your cell phone, or where did you get it? I find it convenient to carry my phone while I make my deliveries.
Thank you! I got it from quadlock.com makes it really easy to carry my bag and keep my phone out of my pocket where I would sometimes miss new requests.
I worked the busist area of my city last friday supper and no surge pay or yellow heat map. I haven't seen any surge pay in about 2 weeks. Is anyone else noticing this?
😂😂😂😂😂 Edie I gotta ride with you one day and show you how easy these addresses are to find downtown LOL!! But trust...I would be lost if I came around where you live so I understand 😉 But YES google maps is the ABSOLUTE WORST 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 And OMG that Pedway had me on one back when I first started LMAO
lol I promise I get better every time I go out. Plus I have the luxury of coming home and watching my mistakes and opening up a map and studying it. By the time it’s all said and done I will know the Chicago map better than anyone on the planet.
I don't like how they changed the map with those restaurant heat maps. It makes me believe that all ubers will go to those restaurants and camp there. The old heat map was better
I was thinking of adding some bar end mirrors soon but I’ve been riding for a very long time with no mirrors not sure I would even use them. This bike came with mirrors but I didn’t like them.
It’s safe. Just don’t be anywhere you have no business being. My wife is going to go out on her bike in the next couple of days. She going to make a video for my channel. Help me get some content.

I just tried ubereats delivery on bike i got 0 orders left the app on for 3 hours is it normal that is hard to get ordere as a ubereats bike delivery person
With Uber I think the most I went without a job was an hour. It was with doordash in a bike that I went about 3 hours no work. Hope it gets better for you.
Agreed and the tall buildings don't help either. Now that I got a better understanding of the layout of the city and the navigation give me an instruction I found many times that its completely wrong!
Yea gps hasn't ever been perfect lol, I've been all around the suburbs of Chicago but never down town I guess because as a truck driver most of my pick-ups or deliveries were out in the suburbs where the industrial complexes are. But I've been close to downtown lol
@@EddieBenitez3 If the economy doesn't clapes and we get back to normal over time gps systems will get better or you will have been just about every place imaginable to pickup eats or groceries and you will know by memory were each location is. After my first 5 years of driving I knew just about every place I'd picked-up or delivered I'd get my dispatch and see the company I was picking up at and know where to go just by memory.
on this bike its smarter to ride throttle only and peddle to help the motor out. the one thing I don't like about this bike is the fact that I cannot ride using pedal assist and throttle at the same time you have to choose one. this bike is heavy so its hard to start from a standstill with the pedals. my rad power bike 2017 allowed to use both at the same time.
