The key will be getting very close; if you can pull that off, it could be a cool look. I recently used this lens to shoot shark split shots and was very happy with the results-I had them right up on the dome, and it's tack sharp. If you've got the flexibility to try it out and see if you like it, I would do that. If not, I would stick with something a bit more versatile. - Logan
