    it is awesome to see such talent at work. I can just barely build a plastic model and have it look like its intended target. (I drool over all the aircraft in the shop.)

    You know, when they were trying to decide on a name for the fighter, Mr. Grumman wanted
    to call it the Tomcat! I am working on a Ziroli Hellcat also, I'm the paint/finish stage. Your
    work is magnificent.

    Question: How much rooms would you say remains between the Moki valve train and the cowl?? Beautiful build!!

    hey mark i am getting close to the finishing stage on a hellcat and had some questions. what kind of paint did you use and how much of each color? and where did you get your inserts for the exhust ports

    • @markbrownrc1679
      @markbrownrc1679  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi the inserts I made a mould and made them out of fibreglass. Paint I like to use acrylic lacquer 1L of the main colours and 500 mils of the other colours

      I would have enough paint to paint it twice like to have a little in case of any repairs may be required

    Awww.....everything was going so perfect until @3:54 where the blue camo paint was revealed. The mid-tone blue appears to be an incorrect color. It should be "Intermediate Blue", FS 35164 , which is more of a bluish gray color, not light blue. Otherwise, a very fantastic build indeed!!
