I remember when i had waves. My hair would never lay down right, the oil killed my skin, & wave cap made dents on my forehead and balded the back of my hair. I finally let it go my hair wasn't built for it. 🤣
Thats because that wave cap was to small for your head. You probably used oils that your scalp was sensitive to and your hair prolly didn't lay down right because you may not have brushed the right way.
