When I did these I would plan ahead 2 weeks then one week go up and down vertically and the next week I would go diagonally then the 3rd week I would go up my vertical line then turn on my diagonal then vice versa
Awesomeness I agree with dude people already think we're crazy here in FL cutting grass in this humidity times 10 this yr. They definately are gonna think we're slamming some natty ice lol looks Awesome man nice work.
I have been seeing pictures of people striping in patterns like that. I so want to give it a shot on my yard. I was thinking about wavy stripes so I don’t have to worry about stopping and backing up. The neighbors are going to think I am drunk 😀
Ummm WOW!! Lol looks great ole friend.. So happy for you and Ms.Liz.. welcome to fatherhood!! Such a life changing experience!! Stay blessed up there guys!!
WOW!!! I really love the design. Looks like you’ve been doing those stripes for years, they came out so good. Thanks for the vlog, enjoy your weekend with your family. Try to get some rest.💯❤️👍🏾😀🙋🏽♀️✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸
I’ll be driving by next week to mow mine. Can’t wait to see it. I really need to get out property under better control and keep up on it better, you are making me look bad 😳🤣
Looks great Brian. If it were my property I would go ahead and get a few trees planted on the property now. Like my Grandpa always said ‘the best time to plant a tree is 50 years ago but the second best time to plant one is now!’ (He was a nurseryman). Good job on buying that lot, it looks perfect! 🔥 keep up the good work. My suggestion would be to plant a Black Gum and a Swamp White Oak. I love Live Oaks but don’t know if that’s ideal for your zone. I know leaves suck but it’s worth it.. Future treehouse videos??
Love it. I have asked some clients and they gave me permission to cut however I like. I'm trying to make one hill property look like a wave. Or on another I cut double lines, might try double angles after seeing this.
Iv seen lightning patterns a few times. Looks really cool. Never tried it but I could at my uncles shop I work for. Once I get uses too it I can think of 3 bigger lots we do it would look good on. Personally I would only do this on a big lot
SOOO CRISP AND SATISFYING, Brian!!! Footage skills on POINT!! I guess red bulls does gave you wings! Lol I wish I can learn from you in person. 🙃 Thanks for the great video and your humbleness!
that pattern is pretty dope Bri...I too have always wanted to try out something new (my lawn is way to small :( for any type of pattern design) but afraid to on a clients lawn, cause if it doesn't come out like I envision it in my head, they may not be a client anymore :)
How do you get such nice strips? I have a commercial mower to mow at home it’s a John Deere z930m, and it doesn’t seem to strip that well. Do you have a kit on yours?
Either of those units have a rolling bar on the back or are those stripes popping like that just from mowing in different directions?!? That looks great, fellas!
Hi Brian, need your professional opinion. My brother wants to offer free edging (referring to reestablishing lines, not maintaining). In order to ensure every lawn we touch looks crisp. And hopefully that sets us apart and attract more customers. Thoughts? Btw the stripes look clean! Should use aerial Pic on website or marketing
@@BriansLawnMaintenance thnx Brian, I shall offer you my sub! Ha about to hit 150k, successful lawn business, and you're still helping your viewers. Means alot
any tips mowing ditches ? im new to the zero turn i usually use the walk behind but was wondering how people approach the ditches without digging into the sod with the deck ? any tips would be appreciated thanks
We don’t do a ton of them but I’d suggest raising the deck a half inch so you don’t scalp over the edge as you go down into it. From there point the nose of the mower up and mow at a slight angle. All I can think of off hand! Best of luck.
do your ditches side to side and you won’t have that problem if you go in nose first one your not gonna be able to cut the grass in the lowest part of the ditch and good chance of getting stuck and or scalping the top. Say if the ditch is a v shape do one side at a time never ride down the middle of the v
definitely eye grabbing! in a good way, it almost seems like an optical illusion lol. Hey Brian, i've been meaning to ask but what filming setup do you use? I've been doing videos on my iphone and I think it's time i invested in a nice, professional setup. let me know what you run! thanks.
We use a few cameras. I started with a Canon t6i, then to an 80D, a 90D, and now an R6. And a handful of GoPros and smaller point and shoots. Hope that helps! Best of luck filming.
That looks sweet.. but here is the next pattern. Do big 'S' stripes the whole length of your property and when done run 2 straight stripes through the middle making a dollar sign. $ I've wanted to do that but I don't have the drone for good aerial footage.
You gotta have your 2 angles burned in like a straight and a left angle then your start on your straight go down a little turn go across your left angle 1 or 2 till your back on one of your straights and repeat the process
He did a good job...but it seems like a lot of extra work....maybe just a single turn/angle, sort of like a boomerang...I've done those and they do look good. never got complaints from the clients so.....
Lazers last. Our lease mowers get swapped at 3 years. Owned ones get traded just shy of 2k hrs. Nothing really wrong with them, just time for something new and little things (seat and bushings show some age). Blow them off between yards, and follow the maintenance schedule for oil and hydros no issues
I run those tires on my mowers. They will tear up a yard fast if your not careful on turns. I've had numerous lawn services come up and ask what we think about them and we all say the same thing. " we like em but they'll tear a yard up"
What do you guys think about the new stripe pattern? I think they turned out dope lol. It’s always fun trying something new!
I like your desire to try something new, however, I would prefer all straight.. great video!
Bro it looks so cool if you lived by me I would have you do it on my line preferably in the back
Heck yes!
Amazing!! Great to see that you can make other designs!! Congratulations, on your new baby girl Emmie!!
When I did these I would plan ahead 2 weeks then one week go up and down vertically and the next week I would go diagonally then the 3rd week I would go up my vertical line then turn on my diagonal then vice versa
Even thech on lawn stripes has come a long way. Who would have thought zig zag. Looks beutiful
Looks killer! Straight lines look good but zig-zag stripes add more visual appeal. Great job guys.
I haven't been able to do the zig zag lines yet, those guys that do them on every lawn are on the next level
With the drone, it looks better the higher it gets! I like it!

Oooo! Maybe we can try that next pattern!
If only the people driving by could enjoy the full picture. That looks amazing!!
Amen Randy!
WOW lawn looks amazing

Looks awesome for the first time!
zig zag and grass, reminds me of the 60's lol. Lawn looks neat.
I’ll be driving by next week to mow mine. Can’t wait to see it.
I really need to get out property under better control and keep up on it better, you are making me look bad 😳🤣
WOW!!! AMAZING!!!
Awesome cut, especially from the drone! Great job guys!
That sure is a nice piece of property
Good Morning Brian 🖐 Love The Aerial View Of Those Zigzag Strips 👍
Congratulations on the baby, strips look great.

Amen to that! We do plan to plant a few October Glory Maples, they’re Liz and my favorite!
Love seeing that strong stripe game from you and VP Rob!.. I say you go for the bullseye stripes next time!lol

Just commenting to help Brian with the algorithm. He always has great content
Haha thanks Derek!

Very cool looking
Thanks Tim!
Tried it recently and turned out really good. Straight lines are getting boring 😂
Brian looking good brother💯💯💯💯👍👍👍
Super Cool now lets see more patterns

Nice land. Congrates...stripes are killer

Look's AWESOME!!
Do those honey comb tires make the deck height different? Looks like it sags a little.
From the ground it was hard to see from the drone 😳 dope!! 👊🏼
Nice looks great

The Exmark does have a stripe kit but tbh I haven’t seen it stripe much differently with it
Very Nice !!
Pretty cool.
Brian make stripes up and down all day
“I use to be 280 calm down” lol I love it.
I paused the video at 7:57 and just stared at my screen for ten minutes admiring the stripes
🙌🙌
Impressive 👍
That looks amazing!
I do a half-moon pattern quite a bit starting off by a tree closest to my driveway.
Looks great 👍
Beautiful
Super cool 😎
Couple bags of tireject and you don’t worry about flats anymore. Stripes look great!
I was going to do Zig Zag's in my yard, but thats to much effort lol. I might try and do circles back and forth
Great video Brian, I like that design! LawnForce will love if you do waves lol!
Good stuff
Great Job I would love to try that out. What is the music at the end?
Just something from epidemic sounds 🙏
That looks dope!
I'm wondering why you put the spare tire in the back? Just wondering why you didn't put something more useful at the back. Like a sprayer or blower
Love it!
That is soo cool!!..👍
Nice!
Sweet!
Awesome video bro 👍
The stripes are a 10/10
I like it.

Up to you guys. I know tons who edge weekly. Imo it’s a little overkill, but that could be your prerogative, no right or wrong answer!
@@BriansLawnMaintenance I think you misunderstood the question. Nevertheless I still appreciate you taking some time out of your day to reply. Thnx
Sorry hoping to answer it. Our edging is factored into our weekly price. It’s $40 for cut trim blow, and a bi weekly edge.

Looks like someone has been rolling some zig zags and decided to expand on it.

You could spell out your company name in that grass! Badass bro
Ha!
you gotta try squiggly stripes now
I like it lol
What's the name of those flat free tires again??
Exmark Tractus
Just curious how much would you charge to mow a lawn that big?
$150-$175 if it was for a customer
Phenomenal

thats a **wohw wtf** moment
Loooks doopee. How many acres is that property & how long does it take you?
3.5 and 1.5 hrs
Wow
should i get a striping kit for my two exmarks? is it worth it
I say they can help, but is it $300 worth it, hard sell to me.
We don't put them on Exmarks anymore. Don't need them. IMO, Farris WB is probably the best striping mower, but we're all for now
Looks amazing but I think that pattern only works for big properties
How long does it take to do this job??
1.5 hrs
He did a good job...but it seems like a lot of extra work....maybe just a single turn/angle, sort of like a boomerang...I've done those and they do look good. never got complaints from the clients so.....
Who's ford ranger is that ? It looks dope
Robs new truck 🙌
@@BriansLawnMaintenance awesome, I'm thinking about buying one, rob should do like a little review on the ranger
I'm confused! What is the point in buying those stripper kits I've been seeing, when you can stripe like that without them. What am I missing?
Nothing! I think you’re right!
Make the state of Michigan on next cut
I gotta ask...does this lawn get aerated?if so god bless you lol thats alot
Not yet but one day I’m sure haha
What's the hours on your laser z so far?
Maybe 800-850? She’s getting there. I’ll have to do an update.
@@BriansLawnMaintenance Please do! Love to see a longevity style review on it

When can we get a mower race? It'll be good for views
What’s a mower race look like? lol
You got a few machines you and Rob and some other guys set up a race like B&B did

Sky is the limit on designs. Roller stripes would be most visual.
need more zig zag a d wavy draw eye attention way more
Hey Brian, that looks great your an artist lol. You never called me. It's OK. I know you probably get a lot of calls every day
