Addiction is so hard - I would say most never get the help they need. It’s taking over our country- drugs, depression, ED…. It goes on and on. I am so glad that you fought through and are doing well now. That’s s huge accomplishment. Jason also battled his entire life and finally changed his life about 10 years ago. He says it was like someone else’s life when he thinks about it now. People can change and they can get well! 💛💛💛

I can relate with this subject. My then 13 year old had a eating disorder and tried to commit the unthinkable when a teacher reached out to me. My daughter is now 20 and still battles it a bit . As long as she knows shes loved and have a strong support system she will get through it. I’m praying for her recovery. I have Faith that this too shall pass. My heart goes out to you all.

Just last week my daughter 7 yr old son witness his mom blackout and lifeless body hit the floor from drinking so much alcohol. He ran to her then had to be told to breath bcuz it shocked him so bad he grabbed his chest and just stared. Her alcohol levels were at a 1.9. 4 years prior I received a phone call at 6am telling me my daughter was brought by ambulance to the hospital at 4am and was on life support from alcohol levels being over 3.0. This is when & how I found out she had a drinking problem. I thought that incident would’ve prompt a turnaround for her but needless to say it did not. She’s been w/o a drink that I know of for 5 days and hopefully she continues to fight and press through it bcuz I know it’s an uphill battle. Stay strong Jen, you all will get through this and so will the rest of us who are struggling with our own personal or family battles. I’m happy to hear that she’s someplace where she can get the help she needs🙏🏾!!! Thanks for sharing ❤

I have been wanting to read the Bible from cover to cover - I would say now is a perfect time for me to start. Yes your absolutely correct we all have a cross to carry we have two young adults males and alcoholism is our problem, we have good days and the bad days but, they are safe in my home and loved 🥰 and that brings me peace to my heart.
