      Because we have to haul food from one end of the country to the other and it needs to be able to last during the trip and on the shelves until it’s eaten. Other smaller countries don’t have to have their food travel as far and last as long.

    Cheetos fun fact: The US military helped invent Cheetos. Back in the WWII era, the military poured money into finding ways to dehydrate foods. Specifically, cheese. From the longer shelf life to the lighter weight, cheese powder was a smash hit, and also a key ingredient in Cheetos! In 1948 Frito‑Lay (then the Frito Company) introduced their first cheesy snack cracker, which contained the same Wisconsin cheddar that the army put in its dehydrated products.

Like so toxic most European countries ban what we put in our food.

    I haven't had Goober PB&J since I was a kid in the '80s, but the main reason I didn't like it was the PB overwhelmed the J. It reminded me of the school lunches where the school mixed jelly with peanut butter and made a single slurry of them both. All I could taste was super sweet peanut butter. I imagine that kids these days don't get any PBJ sandwiches at all because of spiking peanut allergies, but I did like them better than their mystery meat options, even if they weren't great. The best ones were the ones I made myself with about 3 times more jelly than peanut butter. Dang, now I think I need to run to the store to buy some peanut butter, jelly and bread.

Cereal is for everyday, but pancakes, waffles, and french toast with bacon, ham, or sausage are usually for weekends or special occasions or requests so they can leisurely eat and enjoy their breakfast. Primarily because people are rushed in the mornings to get to work, so they choose something easy and quick for breakfast.

    it's scary how much "food adjacent" items are sold in the grocery stores in the US. almost all of it is so over processed for "convenience" (aka to save the producer money) that it feels like they have been lowering food quality for decades now, but just tiny steps every year. and now they just sell plastic in paper boxes with enough flavor enhancers to keep children interested....

    So I came from one of those homes for you never got to eat sweet cereals. So as an adult I can't see those cereals as breakfast but I will sometimes get a box of fruit loops and have that on ice cream. It's just dessert to me

    We have so many ethnicities here in the US that our food has become wonky, but we are still number 1, no country in the world is as good and as accepting as our beautiful USA! This guy puts his nose in the air, but he’s living here?

    One of my coworkers raved about the frozen smuckers pb&J and brought me one to work, it was her favorite new thing when it came out. Immediately after one bite I looked at her crazy, I asked her "whats so great about it? Its just goobers. Its been around forever." She wanted to know what goobers are, and I told her the jar with peanut butter and jelly in it together. 😂 It was her turn to look at me crazy. She was disgusted, because she always judged the item without having it.🤷‍♀️ Classism hit her hard

    “Spraying nugget flavour”😂😂😂😂😂 my Godmother works in the food industry here in America and she once told me I don’t want to know what they put in the food over here. Whenever I go home to England for Christmas I lose 10 lbs without even trying and I hardly ever eat processed food in the states. Whatever they’re spraying on the nuggets they’re probably spraying it on the fruit and veg here too!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

    Ok, pancakes and sausage...you have to make it for him homemade style. Little smokies or his favorite sausage and then batter it with real pancake batter and turn in a frying pan or make them in an abbleskeiver pan for bite size and ease.

      In italy we make sandwiches and snacks from scratch.
      Period.
      Maybe you can find some cookie.
      Surely we do not have preecoked pasta or meals, that is horrible. We cook 99 of our meals from scratch.

    Okay, but the plain cheese croissant pizza baked with your own toppings added (I use fresh veggies) effing SLAPS. I pair it with one of those Caesar salads that comes in a bag for a quick meal that takes almost no effort when I’m super exhausted. Ideal? No. Better than ordering fast food on DoorDash? Completely.

    There‘s a show in the telly „Leges‘s Kosmos“ in Germany. He‘s a food developer, he cook all these (famous) Ready meals with original ingredients to show what‘s inside, I mean no surprise, it‘s not healthy but it‘s discusting 🤓 Inside it‘s white powder, artificial aroma, sugar - that‘s it. You don‘t want to eat it anymore

    If you geta really bad hamberger, not McDonnals but a gas station hamberger that has been sitting under hot lights for hours. You salvage it buy buying potato chips and putting chips between the bread and the meat. Or at home bologna with chips and white bread combined in the sandwich.

    * Sausage and pancake on a stick... I'd eat that. So good, yum. ✅
    * Zebra cake ice cream... I'd eat that. ✅
    * Sweet 'tater ice cream... WTF, NO. ❌
    * Uncrustables... 🤷‍♂Never had one. Don't know if good, meh, or bad, but why does it need to exist?
    * Kellogg/Wendy's "Frosty" cereal... Don't know, don't care, not interested. ... Next.
    * Smuckers "Goober" PB&J combo. Wasn't impressed, the one time I tried it. PS: Real easy to be Americas best PB&J combo, when you're the ONLY ONE that exists. Clearly not a big market.
    * Reese's cup with chips... Why? Not interested, doesn't even sound good.
    * The "54% French" pizza... A marketing department out of control. This product does not need to exist.
    * "Cheetos" Halloween edition Mac & Cheese... Pasta shapes, Cheddar & Cheetos cheese flavor powder, FDC Red 40, FDC Yellow 5... Not surprised at result.
    * PB&J cookies... Why?
    * "Breakfast nuggets" ... Would never buy this useless product.
