Thank you for this lesson. If you want to play this good, you most learn to bend to created the right sound. Thank you for showing us the right notes.🎼🎵🎶🎶🎸🎸🎶🎶🎵🎼
Thanks for giving us this lesson. Albatross has long been a favourite of mine, and now I know how to play it! Can't wait to try it on my Vintage V100 Lemon Drop (Brit designed Greeny copy). Your style of tuition makes it easy to understand, earning you a new subscriber! 👍
The first piece I ever learnt. But one section never sounded right. Until I watched your lesson. It now sounds right😁Thank you once again for a great lesson. How about another Peter Green classic for a future lesson - " I Need Your Love So Bad" 👍
Just discovered you James...71 year old novice..hate formal lessons, have arthritic hands so do what I can..love your tips on technique and easy way you put your instructions across..currently have a repertoire of around 50 tunes...around half of which are a decent rendition..hard work doing albatross...simple tune but the bending is my struggle..I use a fender digital amp as can't be bothered with all the clutter with pedals and all that palaver. Using fender Tele at moment god intonation but maybe better with my gretch semi as it has tremelo.. oh by the way pdfs for tabs won't download for me ,don't know why, have done downloads before. ..all the very best... Bill, merseyside
Im glad your enjoying them bill thank for watching! Re the PDF's: Have you joined the facebook group? They are all in there. Have another go and if you cant get it to work send me an email and ill fire it over: Kirkleesguitarschool@gmail.com
good lesson thanks, just a thought, you may find it easier to play the b notes with your little (or 3rd) finger at the 7th fret of the E string which will leave your first finger above the fifth fret ready for the A triad on the first 3 strings.
Hello James. That' a great lesson of a very beautiful song. Thanks for your fantastic work. Any chance to have another way to have the tabs for those who don't use facebook? Regards from Kent, "the garden of England" ;)
Hi, I have just found your site. I have heard that even though Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac had three guitarists!😮Peter Green, Danny Kirwan, and Jeremy Spencer. That on the production, there are five guitar parts? The extra ones for fills, slide guitar, etc. I think it was the first piece of music that sank into my ❤️ as a four year old in 1968
Hello, I have just come across your channel and subscribed, but I can't seem to find exactly where I can download the tabs. Please could you advise how this is achieved. Thanks.

I remember seeing it an old Peter Green book when U first started playing, but beyond my abilityat the time. I've now dug it out. Note for note the same. I'm gonna give it a go.
Peter Green was the best Blues Player of his time, both for sounds and Dynamics , A Class Musician that everyone copies now ! ❤❤
100% thanks for watching!

There’s lots of layers in this one! Thanks for checking my stuff out
You can drop the E string down to D and use it as a steady bass drone.
I never thought of that. Thanks for the tip!
great video lesson mate... can't download PDF as I don't have Facebook or Instagram.... 😒
Send me an email and I’ll fire it over:

Was hoping for Albatross by Corrosion of Conformity
Sadly not. Maybe some other time eh?
You can't play this on an Enya guitar because of the 2 frets less (only 21 frets) but you can go an octive down.
Yeah my Strat only has 21 frets too. Theres always a work around though and im glad you found a way to make it happen.
thanks for watching!
J
where are tye tabs??? Been on your group but cant see them
Head to the files section and you should find it. Send me an email if you are struggling:
Kirkleesguitarschool@gmail.com
Better on a Fender Stratocaster. I have been playing this for many years
Yet Peter Green played it on his 58 Les Paul which Gary Moore ended up with. But I agree it sounds nice on a Strat but not as good as the original.
I cant find the tab anywhere. any clues please?
Hi Tom, the first link in the description takes you to my Facebook group where you can download it.
Hope that helps
J
I did go there, I'll try again. Thanks.
@@kirkleesguitarschool Not seeing it, do you have to join your Facebook group to download it?
I'm not seeing it either, maybe have to join his Facebook group to access it?
I remember seeing it an old Peter Green book when U first started playing, but beyond my abilityat the time. I've now dug it out. Note for note the same. I'm gonna give it a go.
Even easier to play the opening B on the sixth string
Yeah you can play it there too. Thanks for watching 🤘
What are the chord names?
good point! the 2 little triads are A and G sharp minor
Thanks
Just use standard notation---it will be easier
I disagree but thanks for watching :)
@kirkleesguitarschool because I suppose you can't read it.If that's the case ok
great lesson!! is there a way to get this tab if you don't have facebook or instagram? gr.
