I think focusing on multiple attackers is historically meaningful, but don’t forget most of us will be facing a single opponent and the footwork for parry/suppress/ escape is the one most encountered and perhaps more important

Although SV's footwork and movements were designed to deal with multiple assailants, SV's Pivoting/Blending is also used to deal with a singular attacks that may be overpowering or in stances where the environment does not allow for entering and diagonal movements. If you're an SV annual member, you can find it under the SV Footwork Template module, it will also be covered in detail in next week's SV Footwork Masterclass- Thank you for commenting and following Paul!

I live on the south side of Detroit, and normally people come at you in groups of three!

Thank you for commenting and sharing Tim! SV and ACSD both meet you where you are, hence we say "come as you are" . Both founders have backgrounds as therapists and bodyworkers so you can take the principles and circumvent (work around) injuries and limitations for the simple reason that...criminals don't care. Please call ACSD HQ at 800-289-8188 to dicuss what you CAN do.
