I was in the Corps from 1964 to 1968. Back then, if it was warm and we wanted to roll up our sleeves, we just unbuttoned at the wrist and rolled them up like any scuzzy civilian would. We wore "utilities" (solid green) instead of the BDU. Marines these days look much sharper. Semper Fi.

My hands and arms were purple and swollen, I had an indention on my wrist because I had left my watch on and my arm swole around it. My biceps were ballooning over the sleeve. I couldn't even hit inspection arms correctly without feeling my veins tearing. Worst feeling ever.

be careful, you can get sling palsy from too tight sleeves brother.....looking good isn't always the best option....especially in the wrong environment where getting your sleeves down, quick, fast and in a hurry may be the difference between surviving and gagging to death with some kind of chemical or biological agent....be aware of your enemies ability to produce weapons from improvised parts....

I heard from multiple sources that at OCS, Sergeant Instructors expect candidates to learn from the prior enlisted candidates.

I was just looking around TH-cam to see what to look at and I ran into your video and I said WOW to myself 😳 I was in the Marine corps from 1973 to 1984 and we were issued what we call them santine's it was all green uniform and they have to be starched and I used to iron up my sleeve and roll them up an iron them pretty much like you did in that video, then a couple of years later we were issued camouflage utilities That's one thing about being in Garrison you always have to look sharp. Unless you going to the field or you was being deployed. I'm glad that you take the initiative to do that to your uniform to make yourself look better than the rest. Cuz I guarantee you this that your platoon Sergeant or your section leader and your first sergeant will look. I know that to be true cuz when I walked around the company area that's what I used to look at my Marines to see how they looked in the uniform ❗ and what I like about you is that you want to show other Marines how to stay Sharp as well that shows that you care and those are signs of being a leader that's the makings of a 👉GOOD NCO 👈 👍 "Simplify"and most of all God bless you ❗🌎🇺🇲

Soldiers and civilians never skip shoulder day. It's all about well developed shoulders if you want to pull off a strong upper body silhouette. Strong shoulders can make sub par biceps look a lot better. Well developed biceps only bring attention to weak underdeveloped shoulders. Think upside down triangle, tapered V. Shape. Nice video.

woody2727 thanks you for watching and taking time to comment. To answer your question, instead of folding the seam halfway on the wrist area minimize the fold and so on, if your blouse still feels tight, do not make that fold at the seam. Simply skip that step and proceed.
