Hello David, Amazing GENOS 2 🎹🎶 recording.👍 May I ask please, are all the sounds in this recording GENOS 2 🎹 factory included instruments and vocal sounds, or, is some of this recording a GENOS Expansion Sounds Pack/s? If Expansion Sounds, which sound pack/s is being played? Thank you. All the best for the New Year. Cheers 🎉
THANKS SO MUCH !!!! I REALLY APPRECIATE YUR SUPPORT I HAVE SKYPE IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS WE CAN DO A ONE ON ONE SESSION IF YOU LIKE LET ME KNOW YOU CAN ALSO EMAIL ME AT davidnelson05@mac.com
Hello David. It's a pleasure to see your channel as it proposes to help those of us who have a much shallower level of understanding than you have of this fantastic instrument. Thank you for the invitation to ask questions. I wondered if this is the right way to do it (in comments) as I note that you invite questions to be addressed to your email address? I'm 77 years old and I'm pleased to say that every day is still a learning day! If I am out of order posting this here, please let me know, but I imagined that it would be helpful if others watching you have a similar question. I might be jumping the gun, as such matters as my question is about might well be topics of your upcoming "How to" videos. My question concerns expansion. Please could you explain the way to tell if the instrument has already been equipped with the free downloads that are available from Yamaha on registering the keyboard with them? (or any other files that have been installed - say - by the seller). I have the Yamaha website files downloaded to the laptop and if I transfer them to a USB stick and use the front port on the keyboard, would the keyboard show me if the files were already present on the internal memory or not? How does that compare with removing the internal memory stick underneath the instrument and using Yamaha Expansion Manager on the laptop to add files to the internal memory? I have seen this method recommended on the grounds that doing it via the USB port could result in all the files that are already present on the internal memory stick being erased, leaving me with only the files I am currently installing. I'm quite bewildered by this and don't want to risk losing anything. I look forward to your forthcoming uploads and wish you every success with the channel. With thanks and kind regards, Roy.
