Lynda Carter OWNED Wonder Woman! She had it all the looks, the personality, and the charisma! Plus she was athletic and just wore that costume to perfection! William Charles Moulton who created Wonder Woman said Lynda Carter was everything he projected for Wonder Woman! This is how well she did the role!
The first time that I was exposed to this episode, I was 11 years old ! To think that Diana was competing with an equal, not from " Paradise Island ", was a real treat, back in 1979 ! Thanks for the memories , Lynda !!!!
I liked this episode so much. Wonder Woman teaching a young girl about her powers and how to control them was awesome. Too bad they never did an episode with a certain red caped Kryptonian. 😊👍🏾
She made many appearances throughout the 70s, little house was another. Many children actors hardly go beyond child stardom but she is doing well and very happy in her life. We are the same age. I just turned 57 in Feb, she will be 57 April 3rd. Happy Early 🎂
Lynda Carter has a great running technique - it's easy to look not great running but she manages it. And keeps her face in focus too! (Maybe Tom Cruise studied her style...)
This was supposed to be a spin-off of Wonder Woman, but the producers felt that Julie Anne Haddock was too immature to carry off her own show. However, she did score a season as Blair's roommate on "The Facts of Life!"
This was such a Cool Episode. Wonder Woman was like a Parental Figure to the Young Girl from Islandia, and She Taught Her Important Lessons. Wish They Had Made More Storylines Like This One.
Lynda Carter was absolutely amazing. I do see the difference from back then as a child and now. Her arms then were not muscular and skinny compared to her top part….But I think it’s because comic book pics of women have changed too…Many of superhero women of today are more muscular and do a lot of martial arts in their fighting. I thought she was the most beautiful woman ever!!!❤💙🤩 Wonder Woman!!!🎤🎶🎶🎶
In the Fallout 4 video game Lynda Carter voices the singer, Magnolia, and sings a few songs such as "Good Neighbor" and "Train Train". She also has a romantic night with the game player.
This was kind of a weird episode of the show. How Lynda tried to help the girl get back to "Islandia" but couldn't do it in the end. I like how Lynda looked in seasons two and three. Gorgeous figure and beautiful legs in suntan pantyhose. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 It's quite amazing how much she changed in looks just between season one and season 2. She certainly had a much better figure to fill out that costume.
This was a back door pilot for another series that obviously didn't get picked up. Ilandia one of the other mythological places. Interesting that Amazons knew about Ilandia. In the second season of "The New Adventures of Wonder Woman" Diana didn't know about leprechauns, but the leprechaun knew about Amazons.
I'm gonna say having seen the old series and Gal Gadot that they both nailed Wonder Woman. A rare example of a reboot being as good as the original. Lynda was in my opinion, just more beautiful. Godat was far better at the fights and action, having had a miitary and fighting background. It's just more to enjoy.
Has Islandia been part of the WW canon from the start? A novel titled Islandia was written in 1942 by Austin Tappan Wright, a thousand-page Utopian fantasy, not related in any way to any DC comics. But just maybe someone at Warner Bros considered a borrowing that setting.
I have often wondered if this was the idea. Wonder Girl had been a popular character portrayed by Debra Winger the season before, but she decided to not continue with the role. This girl may have been intended to be a replacement character, so that Diana could have a "Wonder Woman in training" that she could mentor. I would have enjoyed it if that had been the case.
It sort of happens in the comic book "Wonder Woman '77 Meets the Bionic Woman", in which she's nicknamed Donna (Short for her real name which is Amadonna) and wears a top that she borrowed from Drusilla/Wonder Girl and looks a lot like the one from Donna Troy's first costume.
@@vladtheimpaler3625 Now, now. We are moving away from objectifying and classifying women by their body parts. I can tell you bigger boobs get in the way of activities and you often have to search for the right containment and support.
God i love Lynda Carter! Thank's so much for uploading these clips...!
You are welcome!
For me Lynda Carter will always be Wonder woman she looks like she stepped right out of the pages of a comic book.
I totally agree.
This was another little treat. Although it didn’t happen often, it was always awesome seeing Diana interact with other powerful beings on her show!
One of my favorite episodes❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
best thing i have seen on the internet all week!

I can't get enough of "CUT TO DOG" reactions, it's so simple I love it.
Oh, this may be one of the most wholesome things I’ve ever watched!
I love it!
"Islandia?" Now that was some creative writing.
There’s a typo! Apparently it’s supposed to be Ilandia 😂
Lynda Carter, _ is the true definition of beautiful.
Great clip
I remember seeing every single episode of Wonder Woman when I was much younger and boy did I enjoy watching it very much.

Lynda was something else. She's the epitome of beauty.
Amazes me how elegant her costume was...she's wearing next to nothing and it never looks cheap or trashy....Lynda Carter was and is so beautiful!
huh? that is a diaper!!!
No bum. They could have let her put on a good ten more pounds
@@CarlosRodriguez-vg2ob Oh bite me!
She sure was and is.
@@ZZ-mh2nv I will admit that as much as Lynda had an amazing figure, she did have a very flat backside to compare with her other curves.

Watch Small ville that showed everything.
The dog is so talented. What a cute dog.
Is that Benji? Or Tiger from the Brady Bunch?
@@jongilbertson2106 Jack from Little House
It's a shame Julie Anne Haddock didn't work more beyond this and The Facts of Life. She was actually quite a good actress, and a beautiful girl.
She got married in 1997 and has been working for her church and charities. She is also a musical director and singer at her church.

I Adore this Wonder Woman :)
Wonderful!❤❤❤
I'm getting old lol 😂 First I thought wth it's Cindy Brady ! Then I thought no that's Nellie from Little House on the Prairie.
That's Julie Anne Haddock. She played Cindy, one of the Eastland School girls from "The Facts of Life"...
I miss little house on the prairie
Yeah I totally did too.
It's Cindy Webster from Facts of Life.
I remember she was only on the first season of the Facts of Life.
Lynda Carter, the real wonder woman

That's the kind of situation I always hoped for but knew the producers would never give us.

When Lynda went to slo mo running, my heartbeat went faster...her presence ability is off the chain

Christopher Reeve. Not George Reeves. with Michael Keaton and John Wesley Shipp.
