Sidenote: they are singing in japanese, but make some of the best hard-rock i've heard in years.

TO PUT IT BLUNTLY ....THEY STOLE THE SHOW ....let me explain...im a Blackmore ,malmsteen type guitar player and went to see dirty honey with some hard core musicians ,i never heard of the warning ....(nobody warned me ) the show starts and about 30 sconds in i thought oh my god ...i think i"m in love, no arpeggios
and about 10 minutes in we were all looking at each other going DAMN !.....THESE GIRLS KICK ASS !!...as i watched wolfgang and dirty honey (great singer ) i was thinking ,...that girl from the warning just blew these other drummers off the stage oops ..did i just type that ?yes..and when the show ended we all agreed ....those girls JUST STOLE THE SHOW ,congratulations to the ladies ! ...

Now you know why Joe Elliott of Def Leppard asked The Warning to open for them a second time in Guadalajara after watching them perform earlier as their opening act. The headliners don’t know what they’re in for when TW opens for them. Reminds me of when Led Zeppelin opened for Vanilla Fudge back in the day. Pau is just a monster on the drums.

Interesting that you say as a Malmsteen-style guitarist that you were blown away. The knock I occasionally see against Dany is that her guitar work generally isn't extremely technical; she's much more inspired by Brian May and David Gilmour and while not averse to a solo she (like her sisters) is more interested in the music than with showing off. I personally think that that's very unfair; there's a lot more to guitar playing than notes per second, and Dany has to hold down both lead and rhythm guitar while also singing, and the music speaks for itself. But I have seen that complaint, and it's good to see that someone who is into very technical playing appreciates them.
Pau is indeed an intense drummer. Think Keith Moon and John Bonham without the baggage. But that's only part of her personality; listen to Black Holes (watch a video) to see something very different.

Pau hits harder than anyone has ever seen
In 1969 & '70 i managed a Rock Club in Southern California. Auditioned more wannabe rock-n-roll groups than I care to remember. IMO "The Warning" has the talent, drive, personality, appreciation of their fans, family and support crew, to make it BIG-TIME, if they wish. from SW Washington

For those saying that The Warning shouldn’t open for other acts anymore: Opening for other acts is great exposure. While I agree that they are and should be seen as the main stars and should have their own concerts, opening for other bands should not be ruled out just yet. I am sure that with just this one gig, they exposed themselves to a whole other group of people that would not otherwise have heard of them and gained more listeners.
Yes and those new fans well go back and tell their friends, family and co workers about the warning gaining even more fans.

@@dannys6976 Like the first time they played the Whisky-a-GoGo; the manager saw them and thought there had to be a mistake because of how young they were, but figured that they might as well have their fun. 30 minutes later, after their set was finished, he extended an open invitation for them to play whenever they wanted.

It's kind of a crap shoot what kind of drum kit they're going to get as a rental. This seemed to be a pretty sturdy one. The one in Daytona last November started falling apart immediately.
That's the best 20 minute set I've seen in a LONG TIME. HOLY SHIT. There's no way whoever came on after that matched the same energy.
Some people said they stole the show.

I really love the playing style of the bass girl! She's the quiet, but she has attitude, presence and you could fell her playing her instrument! Some of her moves remind me young Gene Simmons. Keep Rocking and I hope you come by Montreal Canada in the future.
One professional bassist and reviewer, David Heretic, calls Ale "Little Gene" for exactly that reason.
@@robertkrawitz8237 , I seem to remember them mention KISS was their first live rock experience? They also played "God Gave Rock and Roll to You" at their very first public perfomance. There's probably a good change Ale maybe unconsciously have "copied" some Gene.

Okay. I see Alejandra looking at her bandmates. It is very noticeable in this video. They all look to each other during their performances. This is very important for live performances. Playing, staying in touch, performing, keeping it together. These women rock.

(that is a 1 in 100000) and she is awesome and talented (1/10000) and on the second listen I heard the Ale solo vocals (I feel like that young reactor/drummer from Italy, with the most expressive faces as she realized it was ale singing calling it the "best gift ever" on Z ) WOW! did Ale command the vocals! This video was focused right on her, so it was clear and rich. Her voice has character and tamber that is unique to her sisters... this only gets better and better. In two months, when they have their show here this tour -- we might need some AEDs to handle it!

It appeared to me that the crowd was WARNED all at the same time. Been a fan and supporter for several years but man I just felt WARNED again. This was epic.THE WARNING , the crowd and the recording. This tour is coming out hot.
The Warning, three beautiful, multi talented musicians, and exceptional song writers that are so captivating when they perform or just hang around the internet. I have not seen anyone like them since the Beatles!

The ladies keep getting better with every show. Their hard work is visible.
The one thing about Pau is she brings presence from behind the kit... I like watching her facial expressions. Ale brings the thunder on that Bass and doesnt stand there like a statue like most bands ive worked with. And Dani... well Dani shes dynamic and just plain smoking. I love her guitar detail. speed notes arent for me. she keeps it rockin and relevant. The structure of her rhythm is on point and I love her riffs. Elliot and Collens should be aware of what they are bringing out in front of themselves today. When Dany palm-muted the first bars of Disciple, that was a wow moment!
Was upfront on the floor. This was a fantastic show. Only complaint is that it was to short. Videos dont do the justice to how well the concert sounded.
It sounds like they need to work on Pau's mike. She either sounded overpowering or very weak at certain times. Did it sound that way live or is it just the sound of this recording?
I really love them though, and hope I can get tickets for the Pittsburg show.

Maybe the mike is a tad too close? Every P she says you can hear a whooshing sound on the mike from her breath. Regardless they seem to be improving every performance on their harmonies on their new songs.
@@bradchandler3505 All her fast moving around make mikng her a problem. I believe all other singing drummers use some kind of stationery mic setups and keep their heads steady right in front of it while singing. Just like Dany and Ale have to do. I remember seeing Arejay of Halestom using an swing stand going above the head from behind, so he could swing the mic to the side when not in use. He's also a pretty "active" drummer. The setup Pau use now also got the problem that she can't control the power of her vocal with changing the distance between the mic and mouth like singers normally do.

This is the angle I sat during my first TW gig in January 2017 at their TedTalks presentation in Reno, Nevada USA. At that time I was blown away by that little Fender Mustang bass. Rock n roll was cruising down in Texas, when suddenly the urge of trying authentic Mexican tacos was too much to bear, so decided to cross the border into Monterrey. Food was too good so ended up staying.
Well, they sure blow the roof of that place. There is no Way Back now. We are all proud of them! Ale’s bass is incredible, Dany’s vocals and guitar are incredible, and Pau, well it’s Pau! She hits so hard 😬 they are amazing, and they Will improve with every set. hope to see them in europe, in a couple of years.

I never heard of them myself till they showed up on my feed doing a cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman when they were young. These ladies have indeed grown into a fantastic band.
In fact they are touring with Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless this summer in the U.S. 🤘🤘🤘

Where you the one that was saying that you didn’t think they were gonna play Dust to Dust again in their concerts if it was I think they heard you because they’ve played it in every concert since Rockville and I believe it will be one of the songs that they will always play
@@tomcruise8603 I may have said that. I don't remember specifically saying Dust to Dust, although it's entirely possible that I did. But I do remember saying that I was worried that I wasn't going to get to see a lot of the older songs live. That was back when I thought they were releasing a full new album though. The fact that they split the album means that they have to play a lot of the older songs on this tour. But yeah, even these very short sets both contained Dust to Dust, and one of them Dull Knives. I don't think those songs are going anywhere anytime soon, even after they release the rest of this album.
@@ryankieth1675 I was just listening to Dust to Dust in this video and your the first person that came to my mind and yes your right about them playing allot of their older songs unless they have a set with 5 or 6 songs but I think they will mix it up in all their concerts
@@tomcruise8603 - Your right. They will mix it up. Hope they bring the keyboards on this tour. But we do know at least 5 to 7 new songs that will be played at every stop.
@@tomcruise8603 according to a very reliable source who was at the show and in the front row, Dust to Dust was a last second decision. They literally did it on the fly. You can see them huddle up on stage and that's when they decided to play it. Which explains why their 20 minute set went a little long.
