Rob’s creativity on the court is why I fell in love with his game. There’s only a few players with that skillset at the guard position: Kyrie, Curry, AI, Kemba, Crawford, Poole & Tyreke
I had the privilege of coaching against Rob when he was at Jacobs Fork Middle School for four games. He was a gifted player even then. But I remember particularly how humble he was. Whether he was on the winning side or the losing side, he was a polite young man going through the handshake line after the games. I believe we split with them and, of course, he usually scored about 70% of his team's points all the while playing within the team's system. When I told him I loved his game, he looked at me and "thank you, Coach". I hope he doesn't change. He was such a refreshing kid back then and seems to be a young man now with those same values. Good luck in the Association, Rob. BTW, I coached his cousin last year and will have him two more years. He's going to be a nice player too. I hope he grows some before he moves on to high school :).

I use to see him practice at highland as a kid when we use to hoop then seen him do a few run and was impressed then and my cousin told me when he went to combine that he was that kid we use to see working his ass off like it’s crazy how good he is and is still getting and these practices was in the morning I worked 3rd shift the gym was open for like hoopers who got off work late I’d get off got hoop and he was there before school dedicated fr him and big bro
