Janet has such a killer voice and stage presence. It is interesting to me when the bands reunited thing came along she was so reluctant to get back on stage and sing again. She was in dental hygienist school and was totally removed from where she had been. Glad she accepted to go for it again.

As others say, the original Vixen was one of those bands that did not disappoint live. Janet nails every note, she is never off key and even manages to remember all the nuances of the studio recording. Truly professionals. Along with Lita Ford. They said that women couldnt be artists on the level of men or that these girls just got the gig because of their looks. The fact was there were girls like Vixen and Lita Ford that could hold their own with the men, there just werent that many of them because most never got the chance to progress up the ladder.
Usually when I go nostalgia-digging for songs I loved back in the day but never got to hear live .. it's a mistake - usually. Not this time, what an amazing voice! Plus I can't believe how much Janet Gardner looks like Britney Spears!

Vixen was one of the few bands that sounded just as good in concert, if not better, than on the album. In concert, the electricity was off the charts!

Vixen has always been one of my favorite bands and has been underrated with the talent they have I wish people would appreciate them more.
