So far Omega is absolutely worth it, I've gotten hundreds of hours in this playthrough.

It is the paid one, the Lite one does have the dinos and stuff, but is just a small version of the mod.

I would make sure you do it through the game to be safe, and if on console wait they are not available yet

a question...the new pmega ascended have...only core dinos like the omega ASE? or maybe could have dino variants of mods....because the giganto is a mod and npt are in the base game...and maybe few anothers dino mod...whit variants too?
Only dinos that are in ASA will be in Omega, but any dino that is added could be in Omega in the future.

@@TBFGaming if thenmod creator could ...do the compatibility whit moded dinos....i definitively...pay for the mod...because be revolutionary...have a deinotherium elemental or a cerathosaurus summoner etc...other dino mods xD
@@rensensei418You can already do this with Omega Lite. But regular omega will never be compatible with other dinosaur mods unless they come to the base game of Ark. It takes a tremendous amount of rebalancing and collaboration with other mod authors for that to work, which is why for ASE the only one that was compatible was Zytharian critters, because Zytha worked with Hexen very closely and still does.

It is a huge mod for Ark, it adds tons of new powers, way more leveling, end game bosses etc

The problem is not the mods honestly supporting mod devs is a w for me what I don’t like is how they market their remake of the game and all the trash they add to try to make money

Hi. Is there a particular reason why you're not playing with the names of the item dropping on the left side of the screen?
Let's you see instantly what you pick up instead of having to search the inventory every time. It's the Item Notification Setting in the UI menu, if you didn't know.

@@TBFGaming Just a small QoL improvement as Omega throws a lot of new armor pieces at you, so knowing you just landed a piece you needed goes a little faster 😅
how to you enable this?
I wish I could play this mod. I just bought it and it's very laggy with my RX 6800 XT. Tried all the maps, changing setting. Nothing helped. Any advice?
Edit: I found the issue. I had to remove Der Dino Finder Mod.....unfortunately.
We had to do the same, the finder mods cause issues
So far youre at 35 mins and forgotten to make the most essential part of ark, the bed 🤣 its been too long if you can forget a bed this long!

so you have omega ascended on the forglar map as a server i can join? is that what the 'server access' means in the patreon?
Patreon is just a way to support the channel, but also serves as a good gateway to keep some of the bad actors we have had on past open servers.

Is this the mod that costs 10 bucks? I like the option to donate but I think charging for mods is starting a precedent that isn't good for gaming. I realize what I am saying here and it is harsh but next thing you know everything will cost a few bucks on top off the 70 you already paid for a AAA game. Great video though and I like your content.
curious if anyone here could help me, i've been wanting to play this mod but the vanilla rates are awful, i tend to play on a server where leveling hp it goes up by 20 i believe , and same for melee, getting to 1k melee is nice, but i cant seem to figure out the settings for single player to get around that kind of thing, same with things like having the taming rate at 8x. i know renting a server would allow that but it's no point if i'm just playing solo

Yes, but Omega Premium mod is not yet console, but should be soon I hope!

@TBFGaming it's only for pc Cross platform is for both pc xbox series x and ps5
It is cross platform, the modder has set up the mod as cross platform, you just have to wait for Wild Card to push them to console, which they said was coming in the next weeks.

Dont support premium mods, most will not be worth it.
That's why I say in the video you have to look for premium mods from Modders who have strong track records and are extremely talented. Nekatus, Hexen Lord, and Gaia Danny have put out solid products. You don't have to buy if you don't like premium mods,, but I can say these gentlemen put in good work and are insanely talented!

Also only 5$ of Garuga only premium mod for the moment so yea.
@@Rage7860 There's a very small percentage of premium mods out now, because they're actually being tested and checked up on first. It's not like they're spitting them out just to earn money.
The only premium mod I've been disappointed in has been Survive The Night as there's been zero updates to the mod since it was released. Premium mods like those should be avoided.

I like that you came back to Ark, but I honestly hate that you play a premium mod. It would've been the first time playing with your community, since I am playing on the PS5 and crossplay is possible. But first I have to pay for the game, than for your Patreon, after that for a premium mod map nobody knows whether it'll ever be finished or polished, if it is finished. And what if it becomes an official mod map via mod contest? Damn this game is evil money grabbing and it extends to all kind of people. Paying full for early access is just not worth it. Again you missed out on a mod list you always promise.
I completely agree, I love premium mods for the modders, but for the players it is scary and could be a mess. That is why I have 2 maps(Island and Scorched) that are fully crossplay and this is the only map that has premium anything.. I have debated getting rid of patreon, but doing the open server has lead to some really awful people joining, it also costs about 600 dollars a month for all the servers I run so I just could not do that otherwise. (I have 0 free servers like the youtubers who took the Nitrado sponsorship).
On the mod list thing, it always takes me a bit, but I have a mod list that gets updated for every season I do of Ark

@@TBFGaming The premium topic is what it is. Can't see anything good about it, even if it is a way for modders to gain money. But honestly, if you ever mod anything, you do this because of passion for the game. I can only see this turning out bad. I am not complaining about your Patreon. As you always say, it keeps your servers alive. You are not that guy to grab money from your viewers. I prefer a closed community even if it costs me a $ or two.
The thing with the mod list was more of a reminder, than complaining :D thanks for sharing
You know I always appreciate your insight, I do not take it as complaining, it is voicing some real concerns, I have talked about this constantly with friends about my worry around the model, I know it had some bad effects on Fallout and Skyrim
