전 90년생인 33살이고, 카라시아가 아니며, 피어나지만 10몇년전인 2010년대초반에 들었을 때 2010년대다운 카라였다고 생각했는데 지금인 2023년에 이 동영상보니까 춤잘춰서 처음부터 중반까지 감동받는데 마지막에 10몇년전에 들은 기억때문인지 눈물납니다. ㅜㅜ

The first girlgroup to fill Tokyo Dome was KARA, if I’m not mistaken. That’s a big achievement considering it was a time when Kpop wasn’t huge yet.
You kidding? Kpop was a big thing by the 2010s especially in Asia. Lots of k idols released songs in both japanese & korean. Kara's song "Honey" even got the rights sold to a chinese singer.

The current popularity of K-pop had its roots in groups like Super Junior, Girls' Generation and Kara and these groups only started peaking around 2010. Entering the Japanese market was a big deal at that time because Japan already have their own J-pop groups and J-pop was the hottest music in Asia prior to the rise of K-pop. Korean artists like BoA had to sing in Japanese.
Kara was the first K-pop group to really have a standing in the Japanese market by being K-pop. Indeed, they were the first to do many things in Japan including topping the Oricon charts which was never done before by a foreign act; and filling up Tokyo Dome.
@@lordracula2461 i’ve been a kpop fan since 2008. being able to fill tokyo dome was a HUGE deal back then. yes all kpop groups were trying to break into the japan market, but that doesn’t mean all successfully did.
TVXQ, Kara, Big Bang, SNSD, 2NE1 etc basically led the hallyu and achieved many “firsts” for kpop groups. i would say bts, blackpink. twice, exo etc were the second wave that helped further the hallyu to what kpop it is today. OP is correct. it was definitely different times.

I watch and enjoy the song but there is always some pain when I see Hara. Such a precious, beautiful young woman didn't realize how much she was loved. I never leave my daughters without telling them how much I love them. Let somebody know they are loved today.

When i came to watch again, I suddenly realized Hara has left us permanently, what a fantastic song and incredible dance once it conquered the Korean industry and became well known girls group, the legend is always there, the soul on the stage will always recall us no matter how many years have gone.

This is one of my favourite Kara songs. I'm really sad I only discovered Kara a couple months ago. I would've really loved Kara. I am so sorry, Hara 😭. During the whole perfomance, Hara and Youngji are the ones I can't take my eyes off. Their charisma and stage presence is amazing.

@@_taesulra_ Yeah I agree. She was definitely my favorite member from Kara, she had such a fun personality, great talent, and beautiful looks. She had a great future in the entertainment business and it's heartbreaking that she got pushed into taking her own life. Her ex definitely was a big part of it, but I also think the Korean culture played a role too. It's frowned upon there if you admit you suffer through depression, anxiety, or other mental illness. It's almost like a social taboo and it's hard to get help there.

When all the girls sings the song chorus it was perfect, But When Ji-Young & Nicole left kara it was pretty sad because with both of them too all of them sound like angels .., except the new girl that join kara group she tried to sing step song it was pretty awfull .. Not saying i hate her but she not fit to sing that song , Cupid Song her voice was pretty awesome .. Just that hope nicole and jiyoung would comeback and rejoin kara group
