Hey dudes! I'm back with an exciting release, one I'm very very passionate about. This is "BLACKENED", a FNF Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony styled track, inspired by Masafumi Takada's work on the Danganronpa series. I've been a huge fan of the Danganronpa series since my friend @TaeSkull (GO SUBSCRIBE TO HER, SHE HELPED WITH THE SONIC.EXE SONG SOULLESS!) got me into the games back in 2020. I was so obsessed that I attempted on a few occasions to recreate the music style and offered some assistance with some fangames. I'd like to believe the games helped shape the person I am now in a way I can't describe, however it was for the better! This game also helped me find out about "Your Turn To Die", another death game like video game and I really enjoyed it. Enough about me, let's talk about the team behind this mod!
Ito Saihara, this dude's worked and directed so many dope mods like FNF: Antipathy, Vs. Cassette Goon, My Hero Academia - Funk's Justice (Vs. Deku), and more impressively Chaos Nightmare - Sonic Vs. Fleetway! They once posted on their Twitter a sketch of Kokichi Ouma and Shuichi Saihara in the class trial with the FNF arrows on the top. I immediately jumped into their Discord dms and told them I could attempt a song for it and we immediately got to work. They had Aizakku, Vivaderus, ShayReyez, MochaDrawss, JayyThunder, random inc., and SleepyGhosty help out with the art, animation, and coding aspects. We had a lot of fun working on this mini mod and I hope you enjoy it when you play it!

Friday Night Funkin' is an open-source donationware rhythm game first released in 2020 for a game jam. The game was developed by a team of four Newgrounds users, Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r.
Danganronpa is a Japanese video game franchise created by Kazutaka Kodaka and developed and owned by Spike Chunsoft. The series primarily surrounds various groups of apparent high school students who are forced into murdering each other by a robotic teddy bear named Monokuma.
Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony (in Japan: ニューダンガンロンパV3 みんなのコロシアイ新学期 ) is a Japanese visual novel game developed by Spike Chunsoft. It is the third main title in the Danganronpa series. It was released in Japan on January 12th, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. It was launched on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Steam for PC in North America on September 26th, 2017, and in Europe on September 29th, 2017.

Ok but how is this such a perfect combination, like this portray’s V3’s vibe through the instrumental perfectly, and the vocals sound so similar to Shuichi and Kokichi’s VA’s.
They are the official Suichi and Kokichi VA's, he just took their voicelines from Danganronpa

He technically has, with songs like Mismatch, and based on the way he makes songs, this was most likely made during the same time as Mismatch.

This song does a great job capturing Shuichi and Kokichi's dynamic!
At first, Shuichi is leading the debate with only a couple of remarks from Kokichi, but he soon takes over, and things start to get out of hand like in the game.
This progresses further as the song continues. Monokuma comes in to make the argument more chaotic and despair-inducing as well.
But over time, Shuichi is able to take control of the debate again, and Kokichi messes up, as stated in his argument having some holes.
Showing the attempts at chaos and truth throughout the song was implemented very well!

Saster, you truly outdid yourself with this track, as someone who has been a DR fan for years, this brings so much joy to my little heart xD. The references are on point and the part where Monokuma jumps in is perfection, not to mention the roughly translated dialogue fits the characters, easily my personal favorite song of your work yet! Start with Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, then Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, and finally Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony.
There is also an anime called Danganronpa 3. But to prevent spoilers from the first, second, and spinoff game, you should do the first two games first.
There's also a spinoff game called Ultra Despair Girls. It's optional to play (or watch), it takes place after the 1st and before the 2nd game. But to understand it, it's better to play the first two games first.

The actual bumping and stuff is easy but I've heard that saster makes a lot of his own custom filters that aren't in zgame, which m assuming is like the the static-y filter and white stripe things on the sides
