This is a really great build guide! I built a similar Fl4k for my first ever playthrough and still to this day I load up that character just to melt graveward a few times before going back to another character. I didn't actually think to test out consecutive hits vs fade away damage and just always assumed the consec was the higher dps option, especially with the pearl. I gues I've got some more gear to farm

This is pretty cool. I'm not a meta guy, but this is a cool video. I do recommend swapping from jabber to spiderant scorcher since you are not getting very many elemental buffs. It would be 100% multiplicative since you don't have very many elemental buffs. Cryo weapons have the same damage as kinetic weapons that also get elemental buffs so cryo is default better then kinetic for a lot of content, but this isn't a significant increase in anything. The Queens/Kings call is a really good pistol for Fade Fl4k if you wanna give that a try! The Grenade throw anoint is additive with a bunch of skills in Fl4k's trees so I personally run action skill end element of an element I don't have active, but it is still a good anoint here.
Cryo has less damage just not as much compared to other elements I think they’re all 20% reduction and cryo is only 15% dmg reduction. Ive been trying to do some farming to test elemental vs kinetic for this build. Main thing I’ve noticed though is kinetic makes it very versatile since nothing is resistant to it and this build already puts out crazy damage where in my opinion you can do without bonus elemental damage. That’s just my logic behind it all.
@@PsychoSpliff Yeah I went and checked, you're right on the Cryo damage thing. Now on to the elemental damage point I was mostly talking about the pets specifically. Imma list off some math that I use when determining the pet. Let's say your base damage is 100. Your base crit is 2 times. Your Re-Volter equipped is 200% bonus shock damage or 2 times the value in shock damage. With Ambush predator which is +8% crit damage and jabber which is +5% crit damage the equation would go ((100 X (2 X (.08 + .05) + 2)) X 2)[This being the Re-Volter Damage] + (100 X (2 X (.08 + .05) + 2)[This being the kinetic damage] Which leads to the number 678 as our net damage excluding elemental advantage/disadvantage. The base damage and the crit base are the same as well as the Re-Volter and Ambush predator, but let's switch out the pet. We now have Spiderant Scorcher which gives +10% Elemental Damage. The equation is now ((100 X (2 X .08 + 2)) X (2 X .1 + 2)[This being the Re-Volter Damage] + (100 X (2 X .08 + 2)[This being the kinetic damage] this adds up to be 691.2. In essence the critical hit addition is an additive function while the elemental damage bonus is a multiplicative function, which causes the elemental damage bonus to be more valuable in slot. Spiderant Scorcher gives the elemental damage buff which seems more valuable to me here. There are skills that make this number more meaningful like Hunters eye, The most dangerous game, and Galactic shadow which all give crit damage buffs. These skills increase your crit in both equations which reduces the value of the jabber crit bonus.
Great video, nice pace of walking through everything. Love the build on regular mayhem tvhm 10 content but I'm getting wrecked in maliwan blacksite (true vault Hunter mode)/hemovorous solo runs due to getting overrun, no survivability 😢 Any way to improve tankiness? Also curious if you tested using any of the company man artifacts (mainly vladof) vs Pearl?
Maliwan Blacksite TVHM is just very hard to take on solo, it’s something I still struggle with myself… my best advice is absorb/relfelct rolls on your revolter, transfusion nades, and don’t bite off more than you can chew especially if you don’t have your pet to revive you… as far as Hermy goes that will be my next video, someone else requested that as well I think it’s a much easier fight than maliwan.
Also I’ve been trying to get a damn Vladof company man and it’s the only company I cannot get my luck has been awful… maybe I’ll put a pause on my light show farming to do some testing with that 👍
Tested out the Vladof company man and I can conclude it’s definitely a good substitute and does very similar damage… but pearl is more well rounded for other guns like the plasma coil and what I’d recommend using
@@PsychoSpliff I was mainly using Monarch with this build but after switching to the Butcher with lifesteal anointment (really helps stay alive in between fadeaway) I was able to crush tvhm mayhem 10 Maliwan Blacksite! I've been sleeping on the butcher, it just shoots continuously with this build and barely uses any ammo, and it's shield really helps survivability. I never had to switch guns. Thanks again for the build! I haven't tried Hemovor yet but I think it will go much better.

Though I did roll a Vladoff Company man with Vladoff magazine size +43%, and also +73%magazine size on top of that giving my Monarchs around a 90 bullet magazine and Lightshows 65ish in the clip with +30% reload which is pretty damn fun as well

I've always wondered: Why is Two F4NG never really specced into? Almost every build I see with FL4K never has that skill specced in. Is it bugged to the point it doesn't work?
So the thing is with this build most weapons you wanna use with FL4K already fire multiple projectiles. So for example if we take the light show which shoots 4 projectiles normally, all two f4ng will do is give you a 5th projectile virtually making it useless compared to where else you can spend your skill points
@@FreaLuuv if the build is feeling off I’d double check annoitments those can make a huge difference having the fade away dmg boost on your weapon and On ASS trigger shield effects for the revolter, just double check back through the video to make sure you have it setup right, and also on my flak vs hermy video there’s a few small updates to the build

@ no only the gun you’re using in this case… the only other way this wouldn’t be true is if you were using a gun with slow projectiles and swapping to a stat stick like the guardian shotgun before they hit
