    Cool video as always Gary. Let me know if you're ready to come explore the little trails I have on the AL hunting property. 90% were made with the tractor and intended as ATV trails, but I find that I take the truck down them more often than the 4-wheeler. I have one major mud hole that locals loved to romp through. I ended up having to gate the road off as someone started dumping trash in there. Anyway, if you want to shoot some local off road trail footage we can do it out there. Oh also I have another two other areas in GA that are great for just a nice cruse.

    Newbie to overlanding. Going to go Talledega Forest soon. Just wanting some advice for Gladiator on 33’s and no winch…yet. What trail would be better for me and going solo. Thanks for any info. Enjoying your videos. Liked and subscribed ..

    • @DixieOverland
      @DixieOverland  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Brent, thank you so much for watching and subscribing! Also welcome to the world of overlanding. With your setup you have and the fact you're going solo I'd say that forest roads 600-1 and 600-2 are probably your best bets. Cell service is a bit spotty out there so I'd definitely make sure you have a radio or some other way to communicate especially since you're going solo. I hope this helps! I'd love to hear about your adventure afterwards.

    • @brentarmstrong7906
      @brentarmstrong7906 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for quick response. Yes sir, communicating and safety main concern. Staying on the hiking trails until I’m better equipped for wheeling trails , and staying close to home until I’m professional such as yourself lol.You all have made it look so enjoyable, I’m ready to go.

    • @DixieOverland
      @DixieOverland  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@brentarmstrong7906 lol I don't know about the professional part but I will say that's a good approach to take. Safety first, have some basic recovery gear, and have a plan in case it all goes to hell.
